a verse from p.182 “a warm welcome”, written in cirth runes, sealed with ground espresso and cloves in wax.
“His crown shall be upholden,
his harp shall be restrung,
His halls shall echo golden,
To songs of yore re-sung.”
my tolkien runic is a lil rusty so some letters are probably wrong
No offense, but JRR Tolkien, staunch Catholic and opponent of power used or gained outside of Divine sanction, would not approve of any spell. His “magic” (at least the good magic) was more the power of angels or a natural talent that looks almost magical than anything. All witchcraft and magic spells in his works lead to death and ruin.
