TO BE KILLED 5/9/19
Agile Anna is ready to leap into your heart!
She never stops smiling. That’s the first thing people notice about ANNA after they exclaim over her incredible beauty. And then she fixes her gorgeous eyes on you and you are lost. She is so good hearted, so kind, so innocent and yes – she is a playful, happy puppy of barely 12 months of age who lives for the moment and loves unconditionally. As a staff member writes: “Hi, I'm Anna! I'll grace you with my kisses and soft brown eyes. I am a sweet and friendly girl who enjoys going out for walks, but a walk wouldn't be just as fun without any toys. I get a real joy out of running after my toys when you throw it across the grass and when you offer me a toy I will sit on command. There is a burst of energy within me and would love to express it with someone just as energetic as I am. Not only am I great with toys, but with other dogs I shine. So come adopt me today and let's have fun together.” If you can foster or adopt this amazing girl, hurry and Message our page or email us at MustLoveDogsNYC@gmail.com for assistance.

Due to sudden, rapid escalation observed during interaction with other dogs, a single dog household is recommended for Anna. History around dogs is not known.
4/12: When off leash with another dog, Anna is exuberant when greeting the other dog. However, she quickly becomes anxious seeking exit from the yard.
4/13: Anna is exuberant in greeting a male dog and engages in a very brief bout of bouncy play. When play stops she hard barks and snaps towards the other dog and the interaction is ended.
4/19: Anna is highly anxious, whining and barking throughout the interaction today. She offers play bows but also muzzle punches the dog, nips at his face and barks in his face.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR - Date of initial: 12-Apr-2019
Summary: Loose body, allowed handling
We have no history on Anna so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. However, she is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep her engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct her energy and enthusiasm.
BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: Level 3
Behavior Asilomar TM - Treatable-Manageable
