"LOOKING FOR HIS RETIREMENT HOME IN WHICH TO SPEND HIS GOLDEN YEARS, LEFTY IS JUST PERFECT" =D A volunteer writes: This guy. My frosted face, debonair, sprightly senior with whom I fell in love at first glance. Of course, don’t tell Lefty he’s a senior as he’ll defy you with a lively walking pace, a spry step up and down a long flight of stairs, and his bouncy, playful style of chase. And his kisses….oh, so sweet. Lefty has definitely found the fountain of youth and wants to cherish every moment. Surrendered by the only family he’s ever known due to landlord issues, we’re told he’s lived gently and respectfully with children ages 1 and up, is gentle and playful with other dogs, jumps into the tub as the water is running as he loves baths (love that!!), is very housetrained (check), is well behaved when left home alone, knows ‘sit’, ‘paw’, ‘come’, and ‘stay’, loves to play but is also super mellow. Lefty is the perfect city dog, not bothered by city noises and rumbling trucks up 1st Ave. He hated being tethered for pictures, ‘life is short, let’s keep moving’ is his motto. Off leash I got kisses, we played a little chase, Left smartly lapped up some rain water from the bench (so cute!). So handsome in his pristine white coat, Lefty is clearly a dog who was loved by his family. Looking for his retirement home in which to spend his golden years, he's just perfect in my opinion. Let's get this fabulous dog into the embrace of a new person or family.
