Meek Mill’s Lawyers File Docs To Get Him Out Of Solitary Confinement, They Say It’s Taking A Toll – blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since being sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for violating probation on two occasions where the charges were dropped, Meek Mill has been sitting in solitary confinement. According to TMZ, Meek spends twenty-three hours a day, seven days a week in solitary. However, in an effort to prevent the rapper from going crazy, Meek’s lawyers have filed docs to release him among gen-pop. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although the prison officials are reportedly worried that they will not be able to protect the rapper against other inmates in general population, Meek believes he is well respected, especially since he has given back to the community since his big break. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, the rapper’s lawyers will have to convince the judge that solitary confinement can compromise Meek’s mental stability. In the legal docs obtained by TMZ, the lawyers say the confined space is taking a toll on him and preventing him from being able to create. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the meantime, Meek will get his first visit next week, and be able to cash out at commissary by Friday.
