College student Clarinda Blais teaches philosophy to the homeless. Blais wanted to do something more to help the homeless. So in the summer of 2015, she started the Free Philosophy Project. She reached out to dozens of shelters in the Boston area but they all turned her away — then she reached out to the Women's Center at St. Francis House shelter. Nearly two years later, Blais' program is in 11 shelters across Boston and Cambridge.
