I’ve seen a lot of anti-lena dunham recently so I decided to read a lot of different articles. I then came across one with a snapshot of her book. Actually wanna vomit now.
But she’s a feminist so it doesn’t matter.
HOW DO PEOPLE NOT FIND THIS HORRIBLY DISTURBING’
HOW?!
I just want to know why she hadn’t been ostracised. This is absolutely horrid and she deserves a special seat in the deepest pits of Hell because not only did she do this shit, but she WROTE A BOOK ABOUT IT and is in no way ashamed of her behaviour. I feel bad for her sister; not only did she endure this shit, but she also got to watch as it was published and read by thousands of people as a fucking novel. That poor girl must be humiliated beyond all measure because now everyone knows about it. That can be more damaging than the actual abuse itself.
What surprises me even more than the fact that she hasn’t been ostracized yet, but the vehement defense she’s been receiving at large. The excuses being made for her are incredible. “It was just a game! They were just kids!” etc.
I want you to stop and imagine with me for a second: a male star writes a book about how he used to bribe his little sister to kiss him and crawled into her bed while she was sleeping. He actively try to emotionally manipulate her into relying on him and took, in his own words, “perverse pleasure” and giving her bad news in order to make her more emotionally dependent on him. oh, and he also used to lay in bed next to her and masturbate while she was sleeping. Feel incredibly dirty yet? But Lena Dunham has a vagina, so everything is OK.
