UPDATE: A generous family will match the first $750 in donations towards Wyatt's medical bills! Thank you to them and everyone who helps us care for this special boy! You can donate on our website: www.tailshumanesociety.org/donate.
Wyatt is a 5 month old puppy adopted from Tails last month who was hit by a car yesterday afternoon. He was stabilized at a local emergency vet, but has some pretty severe injuries. He was on oxygen overnight to help his bruised lungs. X-rays showed that Wyatt has 2 fractured bones in his front right leg. It is also suspected that he has 1-2 broken bones in his rear left leg, so he will get more x-rays taken later today. Currently, he cannot walk on his own and will need surgery and perhaps a leg amputation. He has a long road of healing ahead. Wyatt's owners surrendered him to Tails and we will ensure he has the best medical care and love in a foster home while he recovers.
Can you make a donation to our Medical Fund to help with Wyatt's medical bills? They are already over $2000. You can use the secure donation page on our website and designate 'Medical Fund' in the comments section. www.tailshumanesociety.org/donate/
