TO BE KILLED 6/15/19
FOSTER END - NAVY IS BACK IN THE SHELTER SINCE JUNE 8th ~ Sadly, lovable Navy is no longer in foster - and it was nobody´s fault. Navy cannot climb stairs very well and his foster as not able to carry him.
Everybody knows Navy goes with everything! ~ Lovable Navy is an older gentleman who was found tied to a pole - underweight, yet very friendly and sweet <3 A volunteer writes: Navy blends with his blanket and is hard to spot in his kennel. He lifts his head right away as I open his door and comes forward, ready for a meet and greet. What a gentle and sweet soul! With some help, this older gentleman hops out of his den, and slowly we make our way to the street, where he nears peacefully other dogs and does his business without marking. He likes my treats, wags his tail incessantly and looks at me with a puzzled face. He clearly loves to rest, so we sit by a tree, in the shadow, nodding with a smile at the nice comments made by passersby. Old Navy is truly an endearing chap, easy going, glad to be at a caretaker's side and who dreams to be one day the object of someone 's thoughts and love. Navy is at the Manhattan Care Center, hoping to meet you soon.
A Staff Member Notes:
Navy would do best in a home with other gentle, respectful dogs. Navy is a sweet, gentle and highly social old man with no behavior concerns.
