TO BE KILLED – 6/11/2019
Her parents became homeless. And as a consequence, so did this perfect family pet who has no idea why, after 4 years with her family, she is in a scary shelter and they are nowhere to be found. She was wagging her tail, she was friendly and calm and social when they entered the shelter together. But of course, that is what she always was….so happy to meet new people, jumping up to give them hugs. Great with adults, with children, with strangers and with other dogs. A sterling resume, a wonderful countenance, the GLOWING notes of her owners who were certain their perfect friend and companion would find another family to love her. After all, she was a star! But what they didn’t see, what they would never see, was that they left her, abandoned her, walked away, that was when she realized that she could not follow, and that she was hopelessly alone. Frightend and confused, she barked and tried to escape, she desperately cried out for them to come back. But they never did. Versace did nothing wrong, and she did everything right, and the most heartbreaking thing about this whole situation is that she is so deserving of love, of happiness, and of a home. Will you take in this wonderful girl? See her for the great dog that she truly is! Message our page or email us at MustLoveDogsNYC@gmail.com for assistance fostering or adopting this wonderful girl?
