Children, Community, and Facebook: Verizon 1x 3:15 PM 61%D Post Turns out cutting off 15" of her hair last time she touched scissors wasn't a big enough lesson.she cut her bangs AGAIN. So now she's BALD. I think this time the lessons gonna sink in a little deeper! Write a comment.. Post News Feed Requests MessagesNotifications More thetwelvewords: matt-ruins-your-shit: jackpowerx: savage-affinity: Context to the story: The girl cut her hair once so that she could have bangs. The mother disapproved and decided to cut off 15 of her hair as punishment. The girl later again decided to change her hair style and the above was the result; she shaved her daughters head. Having a few personal experiences with this kind of invasive behaviour it really hurts to see someone go through these kinds of things, where the parent tries to live vicariously through their childs life, to attempt to shape them and make their decisions for them depending on what THEY would do and give their child NO independence or self expression. Thankfully, this mother thought her actions were 100% justifiable and posted it to Facebook as a bit of a “haha, teach my kid a lesson” and has been hit with brutal recrimination from her community and has had visits from Child Protective Services. For so many young (and older) girls their hair is their self expression, and in several months I hope this girl will have hers back. Children are not their parent’s possessions. Children are NOT their parents’ possessions. CHILDREN ARE NOT THEIR PARENTS’ POSSESSIONS!!! CPS is an overreaction but still what a cunt, that girl looks more than old enough to be making decisions about her own fucking hair. Here’s a helpful guide for parents, if another kid were to do it to your child and you would be incensed and call it bullying/assault etc…don’t do it yourself you stupid fat fuck. I know I am a throwback but why would the child not fight? I fought back physically over so much less than something like what a shaved head is to a female. Not a virtue signal blah blah… just an expression of amazement that the child would not stand up and say no decisively. Are you fucking seriously wondering why a literal child being abused by their parent didn’t “fight back”? This is the woman willing to forcibly cut her own child’s hair and then post pictures to humiliate her publicly. If the kid had “stood up and said no decisively” there’s a good chance she would’ve gotten her teeth knocked in.

Is there an epidemic of rich women beating their husbands? I honestly don’t know. I am not familiar with the phenomenon, but knowing that male-on-female domestic violence vastly outweighs the reverse, I had to assume that it was included because otherwise she would have caught hell for it. I mean, apparently it does happen, so… Male violence against women and children is at actual epidemic levels. I know a few men who have suffered violence at the hands of female partners and it’s awful and unacceptable. But they were also all in a position to 1) leave and easily survive and/or 2) if they hit back would very much be able to stop the attack. As in if they hit back the woman would be ko’d. I’m not saying female on male violence is ok I’m saying it isn’t a ‘thing’ in the way the others are.  Agreed. Men have the means to leave abusive relationships much quicker than most abused women do (if ever). Being Alone, Apparently, and Children: lethal-cuddles: proxypunch: herwinnen: the-evil-lesbian: the-evil-lesbian: bookwormguri: the-evil-lesbian: I want everyone to watch this video. Philip DeFranco is talking about a YouTube channel called DaddyOFive, ran by a man blogging about his family’s everyday life and regularly uploading “prank” videos. This man and his wife prank each other and their children, who are also made to prank each other for more material they put into monetized videos. As you will see in this video, the way they treat their children (especially Cody, who I assume to be 7-9 years old) is outright horrid and abusive, though. Cody seems to be the only one of the children who gets visibly upset over his parents’ “pranks” fairly frequently, begging them to leave him alone and quit messing with him and yelling at them to stop.In the first clip that’s shown in DeFranco’s video, the parents pour invisible ink all over the floor and blame Cody for it, filming his reaction. He is shown yelling and crying, nearly panicking and insisting that he has nothing to do with it, but they don’t stop.Instead, they keep yelling and cursing at him at the top of their lungs, only to tell him and his brother that it’s “just a prank” once they stopped crying.Another clip shows the mother filming Cody and yelling at him for not being able to “take a joke”, manipulating him and putting all the blame on him instead of apologizing. They constantly follow him around with their camera, not giving him any personal space and filming as many of his reactions as possible to humiliate him in front of thousands of viewers. But it gets worse than that.A different clip shows the father pushing Cody face first into a bookshelf. He is then shown crying on his bed, with a bleeding nose, next to a blood-stained pillow. His father then claimed that it was “red ink” and that he simply had a scrape underneath his nose.On top of that, the man who runs this channel uploaded a video titled “BLOCKING ALL THE HATERS”, ranting about the people complaining about their videos and pointing out how horribly they treat their kids in front of his children, even making sure they listen to every word he says.In DeFranco’s video, it becomes obvious that they constantly manipulate, emotionally abuse and physically abuse their children, egging them on and keeping them under control by making them say things like: “At least you don’t hit us like most parents!” I encourage everyone to watch this video to get a better idea of the situation. If you can, that is. Social services have been called on this family before, but no consequences have followed I legit feel ill watching the short clips of the kids, but I still believe it should be broadcasted what pieces of garbage these parents are.Fuck them. Fuck them and their greedy fucking souls. Please please PLEASE do not watch the video if you are triggerd by any of the warnings. I personally am not, but even I found it incredibly hard and distrubing to watch. I felt the same way. I will never understand how parents can treat and manipulate their children this way and never feel remorse. Here’s an addition that shows just how much they terrorize them. They pretend to destroy their children’s possessions and laugh at their reactions. That alone is enough to leave deep scars on anyone’s mental health, especially a child’s.DeFranco mentioned that these people tend to terrorize Cody the most, but looking through their list of videos, I couldn’t believe just how many videos are about Cody. They obviously enjoy humiliating their kids, but to me, it seems like they’re intentionally abusing Cody the most for not playing along as much as they wish he did. I also feel like this is just another tactic to keep their children under control and have them play along. An indirect way of saying “Don’t be as whiny and difficult as Cody, or else we’ll treat you the same way.”When Cody yelled at them and said “You made me go through all this just for a stupid prank?!”, it broke my heart. These people don’t have a single shred of love or empathy for their children. Another addition:Apparently, they uploaded a video in which they made Cody think he was going to be put up for adoption, filming his reaction. As you can imagine, Cody was horrified, begging them to let him stay.Supporters of his parents have used his reaction to try and prove that their kids are happy, claiming that Cody wouldn’t have fought so hard to stay if he was unhappy with his family. Of course, Mike Martin (the father) reblogged the tweets defending him. These people publicly abuse and humiliate their children in exchange for money. That’s not an assumption, it’s a proven fact. It doesn’t matter whether the children are aware of the abuse or not, or how they feel about their parents’ “pranks”.Of course the thought of being taken away from your home and the family you’ve known for your whole life would terrify a child as young as Cody. Their parents have manipulated them into thinking that they’re lucky to live with them and pressured them to play along with their “pranks” for several years. They’ve made their children think that this kind of life is normal and that they have nothing to complain about. They don’t know any better.A child’s horrified reaction to the thought of being placed into a completely unfamiliar home consisting of strangers they think they’ll be forced to live with for the rest of their life is not proof that a child is not being abused. In fact, most children who live in abusive homes love their parents dearly and can’t imagine living without them because they are so emotionally dependent on them.Ignoring that is incredibly dangerous. Please share this. A lot of social media attention has helped before so why not help these children? Yeah no these aren’t pranks that’s just assholes wanting money I couldn’t watch past the first clip, this is just disgusting. How the fuck can people be this cruel!? Those poor kids!

Feminists aren’t the ones claiming that abused men aren’t real men or making jokes about them being abused. I see this used as a “gotcha feminists!” so often and like without the anti feminist commentary this could be a post I’d see from any number do feminist bloggers I follow. Feminists talk about domestic violence happening to men. Feminists talk about prison rape. Feminists talk about childhood abuse of boys. These are feminist issues. I don’t exactly see any solutions to this problem being discussed here, just something tragic being used as a talking point against a group that actually wants that to stop happening lol.</p> </blockquote> <p>Another Feminist who doesn’t know jack shit about Feminism.</p> <p>See: Duluth Model.</p> </blockquote> <p>How the fuck is a woman beating a man bloody, he not being able to seek help because he’d be arrested for it due to arresting methods put in place by feminists, and a complete lack of funding for mens shelters due to feminists campagning against them, somehow toxic masculinity or patriarchy?</p><p>The only reason this is a feminist issue, is that feminists are the fucking issue.</p></blockquote> <p>And this is why I can&rsquo;t stand even the &ldquo;good feminists&rdquo; because they look at something like this and go &ldquo;hurr durr dat toxic masculinity tho!!!&rdquo; Instead of even once considering that their &ldquo;movement&rdquo; might be part of the problem.</p>

I want to point out that the title of what seems to be the paper is <a href="http://www.xyonline.net/sites/default/files/Kimmel,%20Gender%20symmetry%20in%20dom.pdf">““Gender Symmetry” in Domestic Violence”<br/></a></p><p>This is the first time in my memory I’ve seen a paper with <b>air-quotes in the title</b>. Scanning through the paper, he claims that MRAs aren’t motivated by a desire to actually improve things for male victims, but to derail and “disrupt” initiatives for female victims. Oddly enough, he neglects to provide any evidence or support for this claim. <b>Listen and Believe</b>, I guess.<br/></p><p>Leaving all that aside, on the PDF’s page 14, last paragraph, Kimmel claims that other studies support the claims he makes with Smith quoted, and that it’s the intuitive conclusion, because women are taught to just accept being abused. Which is weird, because last time I checked, in Western society, <b>men are still generally told not to hit women, even in self-defense</b>. Women are allowed to slap men around in public without people batting an eye. In fact, <a href="http://web.csulb.edu/~mfiebert/assault.htm">there are <b>hundreds of studies</b> indicating men and women are <b>equally as likely</b> to be <b>abusers</b></a>. Thing is, if abuse is severe enough to get the police to believe the man the victim, he’s more likely to follow through. A lot of <b>male</b> abuse <b>victims call the cops</b> and get booked for <b>forcing the woman</b> to <b>“defend herself”</b>. At which point they probably stop calling the cops.<br/></p><p> Among other things, Karen Ingala Smith repeatedly brings up the fact that women are more likely to be killed by a partner or ex-partner as evidence that they’re less likely to be abusers. <br/></p><p>Of course, the obvious flaw in this logic is that <b>sampling (ex-)partner murders isn’t going to be representative of DV</b>. Or even an example of DV; what if some dude comes home and finds his GF having sex with the <strike>mailman</strike> postman and just <b>goes nuts</b>, like that one dude in the first act of Minority Report? He was a loving husband right up until that moment. What if someone kills their partner for insurance money?</p><p>She <a href="https://archive.is/4lxvF#selection-367.0-367.129">claims elsewhere that there’s no systemic bias in women’s favor</a>. Why? Because women are, allegedly, more likely to be arrested on DV calls when identified as the perpetrator (1/10 for men vs 1/3 for women). Note that Smith switches between studies about the UK (like this one) and US at the drop of a hat, despite her main area of concern being the UK. Note also that <a href="http://www.nr-foundation.org.uk/downloads/Who-Does-What-to-Whom.pdf">the study in question</a> relies, again, <a href="https://archive.is/9PG9i">on who the <i>police</i> think are perps</a>. You know, <b>the very people whose bias is under question</b>. I apologize for what seems like <a href="http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=gamedropping&amp;defid=8261028">gamedropping</a>, but this is really the first thing I think of;<br/></p><figure class="tmblr-full" data-orig-height="462" data-orig-width="600"><img data-orig-height="462" data-orig-width="600" alt="image" src="https://78.media.tumblr.com/525551372cd1ee61930440f3be7afcfa/tumblr_inline_nnzwawMAUs1sps4wz_540.png"/></figure><p>As <a href="https://archive.is/9VIn7#selection-4817.0-4817.5">Ally Fogg points out</a> (<a href="https://archive.is/9VIn7#selection-5255.15-5267.10">and someone who claims to have worked at a shelter backs him up about this being the party line</a>) the study Smith is referencing also repeatedly downplays male victimization, describing mutual abuse in terms of male aggression and female self-defense, and generally goes “well, it’s worse for women”.
