Alive, Batman, and Instagram: JUSTICE LEAGUE THE FLASHPOINT PARADOX Heroic, Gatewav/Instagram NATIONAL RNATIONA DIEG DIE G D I ONAL. INTER TERNATION lourencohanpost E G 0 D IE For the uninitiated, “Flashpoint” is a time-twisting 2011 DC Comics crossover event that was written by Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, with art by Andy Kubert and immediately preceded the New 52 initiative (which, ironically, just ended in 2016). In the story, Barry Allen wakes up in an alternate reality where his mother is still alive and he doesn’t have his powers, which means he isn’t The Flash. However, those aren’t the only changes. In this topsy-turvy world, Superman is a scrawny boy because he’s never seen the sun since the government captured him when he landed on Earth; Thomas Wayne is a ruthless version of the Batman because his son Bruce murdered and wife Martha becomes the Joker; Aquaman and Wonder Woman are at war; and Cyborg is the world’s most popular superhero — like we said, topsy turvy. The twist in the story is that Barry discovers he caused this alternate reality when he traveled back in time to save his mom from being murdered. So, Barry embarks on a quest to regain his powers and restore the timeline before Aquaman and Wonder Woman’s war destroys the planet, which is a likely possibility. While he succeeds in defeating the Reverse Flash, his attempts to fix the timeline still led to the continuity changes that were trademarks of the New 52, which rebooted the entire DC Comics universe. Batman, Future, and Jordans: NER BROS ANNOUNC ER BROSAN ES SHPOINT MOVI -IN NE DCEU #wBS SD YOFTHEBATMAN Afternoon Gothamites! Before the entire cast of "Justice League" hit the stage of Hall H during San Diego Comic Con this morning, attendees saw a sizzle reel revealing several future Extended Universe films. The reel began with the words “Where wonder awaits, where justice prevails, where good battles evil, from Gotham to Atlantis, Metropolis to Apokolips, Krypton to Themyscira and beyond, welcome to the worlds of DC.” Then several logos were shown for the following films: Shazam, Suicide Squad 2, The Batman (accompanied by Ben Affleck’s Batman), Justice League Dark, Batgirl, Green Lantern Corps (accompanied by Hal Jordan and John Stewart comic art), The Flash (accompanied by a “Flashpoint” logo) and the highly anticipated Wonder Woman 2. The Flash solo movie is reported as being influenced by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert's popular 2011 arc "Flashpoint". In this crossover event, in an effort to save his mother's life from the Reverse Flash, Barry Allen aka The Flash discovers he has changed reality and the life of his allies, including the Batman; in this timeline, it is Thomas Wayne, Bruce Wayne's father, that is the Dark Knight when his son was gunned down by a mugger. Many have speculations what "Flashpoint" could mean within this cinematic universe, in particular to the established Batman mythology. Yesterday, sources spread about Ben Affleck's Batman potentially being ushered out of the DCEU in future films. Today during the Hall H panel, Affleck stated he is thrilled to be playing the character and his excitement with working with Matt Reeves on the first solo film "The Batman". However, this doesn't set in stone Affleck's future after the first solo film and, within this continuity, Flashpoint could change the status of our current Batman, taking out Affleck. "Flashpoint" in the DCEU could also show us Thomas Wayne as Batman; Thomas Wayne debuted in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who could possibly suit up as our hero in this Flash film. What are your thoughts on the slated DCEU films, what are your hopes about Flashpoint and thoughts on Affleck's time in the DCEU? We'll have more SDCC news soon, stay tuned! 🦇🎬

It was THOUSANDS of Green Lanterns no millions. My bad guys. I'm not sure of the specific time period but it was definitely ancient when Doomsday was created. A scientist named Bertron was creating a lifeform that could survive in any environment. The experiment failed everytime and the scientist had to go and collect the remains each time from Krypton. At this time, Krypton was very young and had a harsh environment. Bertron eventually got the experiment right and Doomsday survived. He ended up killing his creator and moving to different worlds.😂👍🏼 - QOTD: Who is your favorite villain of all time? Memes, The Mask, and Zoom: GODS. 🚨🚨SPOILERS🚨🚨 I was reading the comments on my last post and a lot of you said you wanted Godspeed to be the main villain next season on the Flash. Personally, I just really don't think this will happen. We already got a very similar type of character with CW's version of Zoom, so the Godspeed arc would be kind of repetitive. And in Rebirth, the person underneath the mask of Godspeed is Barry's close friend, and the person who found Barry after he got struck by lightning. Since we haven't met this person or even know if he exist in the Arrowverse, it would be unlikely for him to be such a large part of Season 4's story arc. And Godspeed was JUST introduced into comics less than 3 years ago, so for him to have such a quick turnaround into live action would be unlikely. Finally, the last reason I don't think Godspeed will be the Season 4 main villain is we don't need-want another speedster. After Reverse Flash, Zoom, and Savitar, Godspeed would be Flash's fourth main villain in a row that's a speedster. The Flash has an enormous rogues gallery, including Gorilla Grodd and the Rogues, so for the show to be repetitive with another speedster would be a mistake. While I don't think Godspeed will be the villain of next season, there's a possibility we could see him later down the road, possibly in Season 6 or 7.⚡️⚡️ godspeed reverseflash eobardthawne zoom hunterzolomon harrisonwells flash flashpoint theflash barryallen grantgustin wallywest kidflash dcrebirth dccomics gorillagrodd
