Animals, Food, and Memes: MONTROSE PRESS Sir Paul McCartney demanded only vegan food sold at concert By Celebretainment Jul 27, 2017 Updated Jul 27, 2017 Sir Paul McCartney reportedly "demanded" that only vegan food was sold at his concert in Tinley Park on Wednesday (07.26.17) evening. The 75-year-old rocker - who has been a longtime animal activist - has followed a vegetarian lifestyle for years, so it was hardly surprising that he requested that the only grub served up in the concourse of his gig in Illinois was meat free and dairy free. A fan called Emily - who goes by the handle plantifulemily - took to her Twitter account during the concert last night to post a screenshot of a text that her parents, who attended the gig, had sent her of the compassionate menu on display at the event. The delicious food on offer included buffalo cauliflower and fries ($12), vegan chili fries ($8) and vegan nacho grande ($10.50) as well as a bottle of red wine for $37.00. Emily accompanied the shot with the caption: "my parents are at the Paul McCartney concert and he demanded that there only be vegan food, king! (sic)" And this isn't the first time the Beatles legend has tried to encourage other people to follow a vegetarian diet as he previously banned animal food products from his rider. The meat-free demands were reportedly part of the terms and conditions of Paul playing in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada in 2013 - meaning he wouldn't perform unless show organisers confirmed no meat would be eaten backstage. Beautiful, Bless Up, and Dogs: EVERYONE LOOK AT MY DOG AND NEIGHBOR DOGS BOOPING NOSES 3 Now a lot of my friends are moving up from taking VP roles to executive roles at companies. CFO. U feel me? COO. Etc etc. Or if the company is huge, CEO of a particular division. Now when my homies use to take jobs, they would say "I landed a new gig". Now they say it different. "I got my deal done" or " I cut my deal." NOTE THE DIFFERENCE. "I landed a gig" = "a company was kind enough to hire me." Whereas: "I cut my deal" = "a company reached out to me trying to fuck around so I had to let them know that the salary, bonus and stock grant was measly as FUCK then when I hit them over the head a few times, the price went up and I secured the bag." See that? "I cut my deal" means "I showed them what I was worth and they agreed so we reached an agreement." Learn from this. Never accept less than what u deserve UNLESS you're starting out. If u coming in as a entry level finance person at a company u won't have much wiggle room. But after 10-12 years of grinding, now YOU the valuable one. U feel me? U worked hard, yes - but they trained u AND they paid u while they did it because that's the beauty of capitalism. And what's more beautiful is now u can clean up and update your LinkedIn and see what else the world has to offer. NEVER SELL YOURSELF SHORT. KNOW WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE. CUT YOUR DEAL. SECURE THE BAG. Ya get me? Money isn't everything but ISSA LOT OF THINGS bc it allow u to live right, travel, save, treat your friends, buy yo mama a lil Tiffany bracelet that would have been half price from Moshe the jeweler who got a lil storefront next door to the falafel shop but U wanna surprise mama with that pastel blue lil "Tiffany" box and not that nondescript lil bag that Moshe give out lol u feel me? Levels. We all just tryina level up. May God bless all of u in ALL your endeavors. It's a hard grind but hopefully the reward is sweet. Bless up 😍❤️

Clothes, Memes, and Music: HARRY STYLES REVEALS EXACTLY WHAT 'SIGN OF THE TIMES' IS ABOUT (AND IT'S NOT ONE NEWS DIRECTION) In a new interview with director Cameron Crowe for Rolling Stone, Harry Styles explains exactly what his anthemic new single "Sign of the Times" is about. And no, it's not One Direction's hiatus. _ You'd be forgiven for thinking that Harry memorialized his band's last tour in the song, though. He does sing, "Welcome to the final show - Hope you're wearing your best clothes," which could have been a reference to 1D's snappy outfits at their farewell gig. He also sings, "We don't talk enough - We should open up - Before it's all too much," which could be a retelling of band drama. _ But Harry says none of those lyrics are actually about One Direction. "The song is written from a point of view as if a mother was giving birth to a child and there's a complication," he said in his new interview. "The mother is told, 'The child is fine, but you're not going to make it.' The mother has five minutes to tell the child, 'Go forth and conquer.'" _ Death in childbirth: a classic theme of classic rock music. _ For what it's worth, Harry also shared that somewhere, there exists a seven-minute voice memo version of "Sign of the Times." Maybe he'll release it as a bonus track when his self-titled album comes out next month. _ by Sasha Geffen

Advice, Ass, and Bless Up: TAKE ALL MY MONEY @Dr Smashlove Dog Kisses Dog K ISSES In order to succeed, we need to benchmark. In order to benchmark, we need to measure. Our bodies - and our minds - incline toward complacency. Start a new workout. What happens? You do it five or six times and low and behold, it gets easy. Your muscles get used to it. You get into a rhythm. Your body cheats. Before you know it, the benefits you derived from this workout disappear. Your gains are over. My advice: surprise yourself. Confuse your body. And above all, measure. If you do 45 min on the elliptical at a 6 incline on level 10, kick it up to 11 next time you work out. Then 12 the next time. Bring towels. Bring propel. You feel me? Have something to occupy your time. Push yourself. Punish yourself. In work, in life, in most experiences, there are few rewards greater than the reward of knowing you kicked your own ass and increased. Improved. Captured a new goal. You feel me? At a set, appointed time, the gig will be up. We could lose our health. Our mental faculties. Even our life. You don't know when that will be. But you do know that until then, you can do great things and then wake up and do greater things. Push yourself but also rest and reward yourself. You feel me? Fuck up that stack of chocolate chip pancakes. When you used to do that, you hated yourself. But after pushing yourself, now you feel like you deserve the reward. And you do! Be humble and be thankful. And then DM me and say "smash, I took your advice and made it over a hump and now I look and feel amazing. I wanna have your chirren 😍". Just kidding about the last part! (Or not 👶. Bless up! 😂😂😂)

Being Alone, Confidence, and Goals: No MATTER How GIG YOUR HOUSE IS. How RECENT YOUR CAR IS, Hou BIG YOUR (SANK OUNT TS OUR GRAVES WILL BE SAME SIRE STAY HUMBLE. You don’t have anything to prove to anyone; you are perfect just the way you are. You alone are enough, remember that. . It is sometimes hard to follow this mindset in today’s society. We are often led to believe that we need to look a certain way, act a certain way, and do certain things in order to be loved more, be happier, and more accepted by others. . Rather than basing your self-worth on how you think you need to be perceived by others, you need to change your mindset. See your worth as a human being. Rather than focusing on losing weight and becoming thin, think of becoming healthy. Instead of striving for perfection, try to gain self-improvement. The more you learn to accept and love yourself, the better off for it and the more you will come to terms with the fact that you are already perfect. . Who you are has absolutely nothing to do with your appearance and your capabilities. Although it might take some time and practice, get on the right path to accepting you for who you are. And over time, more and more people are less likely to observe you for these trivial matters when they take a look at themselves. When you allow your fear and ego to stagger, you open them up for others to judge you as well. When you exude confidence, you block out their opinions of you. Memes, 🤖, and Fox: O.J. Simpson Could Be Released from Prison Early and Could Be Getting His Own Reality TV Show balleralert O.J. Simpson Could Be Released from Prison Early and Could Be Getting His Own Reality TV Show-blogged by @thereal__bee ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ TMZ reports that OJSimpson could be a free man as early as October of this year and it looks like he might already have a gig lined up for when he gets out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There's been some rumors floating around the reality TV industry that some producers are interested in doing a reality show with Simpson. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ TMZ reached out to quite a few companies to inquire about the rumors. Though they say that they got mixed reactions from producers, most likely the format of the show would be in a documentary or interview style. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In 2006, Simpson co-wrote a book and did a TV special titled, 'If I Did It.' The other co-author of the book said that Simpson did confess to the infamous double murder but after he read that passage during the TV special, FOX killed the show. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The producers and agents that TMZ spoke with say that they know someone will attempt to recreate the TV special that never saw the light of day, especially since 'People vs. O.J. Simpson' was highly praised. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While the options are endless when it comes to what type of show could be created, broadcast and cable networks would probably never air the show, forcing producers to go for more of a Pay-Per-View route. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It also doesn't seem like Simpson will make much money from the show considering he's still dealing with a $33 million wrongful death judgment, and any income could go towards that settlement.
