The other is Godzilla. I’d hate to say it, you guys, but Godzilla probably wouldn’t win that fight. Probably not, not.  At some point Godzilla would try to avoid killing innocent bystanders, at which point Superman would make the kill shot in a way that forces Godzilla’s corpse to fall onto and crush as many fleeing human beings as possible.  Superman would then toss the carcass into a dozen or so more buildings, specifically aiming for those that are still inhabited by trapped people, and maybe drag the corpse through the rubble just in case a few humans clung onto life despite their grievous wounds before finally leaving the carcass on a school or hospital to rot and fester - or maybe in the water supply to ensure the maximum amount of people can be exposed to whatever diseases result. Then he’d threaten the military not to cross him again before making a terrible sex joke at Amy Adams. I’m sorry to say, but you got both of these characters COMPLETELY backwards. No, Godzilla does go out of his way to avoid hurting innocent bystanders - at least in the 2014 movie, which is the version shown in the picture above.  Godzilla tries his best to avoid going through the Golden Gate bridge, avoids swimming through navy ships, and even tries to walk around buildings rather than through them when fighting the wicked mutos.  And he does it in a few other movies, too - one time that stands out to me occurs in the original Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla he actually leads the evil MechaGodzilla away from the city into the wilderness before having a brutal match. So yeah, I’d say I have them pretty spot on. I think the reason he doesn’t go through buildings because that would be fucking stupid. Also he didn’t seem to care enough when he started smashing the golden gate bridge with the bus full of children on it when the military attacked him. Or how about the time he flooded all of Hawaii? He’s not consciously protecting humans because all he cares about is killing the MUTOS. He most likely fights them for territory which would kind of make sense as to why he would want to be killed by Superman in the first place 1. Godzilla was knocked into the bridge by those missiles.  There’s a difference between stumbling into something when someone pushes you into it and purposely knocking that thing over.  What happened with Godzilla and the bridge was the former - he actually spent a good chunk of time avoiding the bridge and blocking it from the missiles with his body before he was finally forced through it.  That’s not Godzilla’s fault, that’s the military’s. 2. Godzilla didn’t mean to flood Hawaii - he probably wasn’t even aware of how the water was being displaced.  It’s destructive, sure, but it’s not something he could avoid.  It’s not the same as, say, a super powered murderer tackling another super powered murderer through a cornfield into a populated area like some kind of sociopath. I don’t know why you’re trying to paint Godzilla in such a negative light, but it kinda scares me. Ya’ll lay off Godzilla! He’s trying his best! His best is all he can do and it’s difficult to do so when litteral armies of people are trying to sabotage him! That implies at least some ability to grasp a future benefit. Which means that we’re probably looking at an intelligence in the ballpark of great apes other than man, elephants, and crows. I know very little about wombats and have never seen one, but are there any Aussies out there who can direct me to resources that go past the basic “they live in groups this size and eat this.” Have we even done research into wombat intelligence? They don’t appear to have an extended lifespan, so my initial guess would have been to put them about with horses but if this is true… (As a note, it does appear that the wombat in the picture is a particularly large specimen). With that said, they ARE a lot bigger than I realized. Here’s Steve Irwin with one.: prismatic-bell: jenniferrpovey: herdjewsis: im sorry how the fuck big are those things My question from this, assuming it’s true, is not ‘how big are those things’ but ‘how smart are those things’ They are engaging in behavior that benefits the ecosystem in which they live, but which has no immediate, obvious direct benefit to them. ham-of-war: inthegrimdarkness: ask-the-crimson-king: smolcatachan: Huh. That would make him about 5 tons. 2,000lbs = 1 ton. But the Blue Whale has been cited to weigh up to 200 tons. Which this meme makes Magnus featherweight in comparison to the mighty Blue Whale. Putting into pounds, the Blue Whale can weigh 40,000lbs. Now the Blue Whale can vary from 82ft to 105ft which sounded like it’d be comparable to Magnus. So I went and did a size comparison based on this picture between a Space Marine at 8ft and Magnus at 82ft and the comparison matched up to the picture.  So basically what I’m saying is that this meme grossly underestimates the majestic glory of all that is Magnus and must be corrected promptly…Please :D [In this picture, that holds up to a degree, but it is known that Magnus’ height can vary greatly. So he could weigh 5 tons, but it could depend on his height, and I imagine the actual density of the Warp matter that makes up most of his form. In the picture of him fighting Guilliman at Luna, his height is much shorter than 82ft. If Guilliman is ~11.5ft tall, that would put Magnus at… … approximately 20ft tall, plus or minus a potential foot or two since both of them seem to be crouching. I also made a weight calculation based on BMI, though it is most likely not going to be too accurate since our big red nerd here is, as I said, also comprised of Warpstuff. If he is 20ft tall, he should weigh 1.5k-2k pounds. If he was 82ft tall, he should weigh 25k-34k pounds. So while this meme is still inaccurate with the original picture, the blue whale comparison is not exactly a good one either if these calculations are to be believed.] Magnus is also a daemon of Tzeentch and shifts his form constantly, a truly accurate number is impossible Babey is a constant tho

In the TOP picture you can clearly see two hunting rifles and a mid-sized handgun, which are perfectly reasonable guns for a family to have, and it appears that all three people in the picture are legally old enough to at least have gone to a hunters safety course, which legally justifies the weapons being in their hands for certain purposes - hunting. Hand guns are carried by hunters to defend against bear attacks, should they happen, and by fishermen when fishing in lakes containing sturgeon … because the only way you’re killing a goddamned prehistoric dinosaur fish from hell is by shooting it (no joke). Now the BOTTOM picture clearly contains only ONE child old enough to have gone through a hunters safety course … and not a single gun that is used for anything other than killing other human beings, and this I have a serious problem with. Guns that are intended ONLY for killing humans (the AR and AK series rifles, which are shown) with CHILDREN is a fucking problem. Now, if they were hunting rifles in the bottom picture - you know, guns that are meant solely for the procurement of food - then I wouldn’t have an issue outside of the questionable ages of the children shown. He had left his families British passports with friends back home, but the friends became afraid of hiding the passports of Jewish people so they burnt them. Leon requested multiple times for new passports so that they could get back to London, but the passports never arrived in time and Leon, his wife, and his child were separated and sent to Auschwitz. He never saw his wife or child again and he never remarried.  He was moved from camp to camp throughout the war, and collected mementos from each camp as he went, until they were liberated by the allies in 1945, and he gives a first hand insight of what the Holocaust was like and what happened afterwards to the people that survived in his book. It’s called “An Englishman in Auschwitz” and is a humbling read. My history teacher used to work at the Imperial War Museum in London and she had the pleasure of meeting him and listening to his story before he passed away in 2008 aged 97. He worked closely with the Jewish Museum London and fought fascism for the remainder of his life.  Sadly, the Imperial War Museum didn’t find out about Leon’s passing until a member of staff who was meant to meet with him dropped by his house and found that it had been taken over by squatters, who had stolen and mistreated some of his belongings. The museum were only given a few hours to collect all of his mementos and historical items from his time in the concentration camps, and as a historian it’s just devastating to think about how all of these sentimental objects he collected were thrown aside like they were nothing So if you see someone publicly preaching fascism and hate, think of Leon Greenman and all the other men, women, and children that endured the Holocaust, and teach that piece of scum a lesson I did not know any of this. Thank you for the important addition.

I don’t remember if it was an anon or if it was a regular user. But somehow, we all got into a discussion about these. I didn’t know anything about them at all. But someone said he always uses them when he fucks a girl for the first time because it stacks the deck in his favor. So maybe 2 months later, I impulsively buy one to see if it actually works.I was highly skeptical because it screams bullshit.
