All of that knowledge, lost forever. The library was destroyed over 1000’s of years ago. The library consisted of thousands of scrolls and books about mathematics, engineering, physiology, geography, blueprints, medicine, plays, important scriptures. Thinkers from all over the Mediterranean used to come to Alexandria to study. Most of the major work of civilization up until that point was lost. If the library still survived till this day, society may have been more advanced and we would sure know more about the ancient world. That graphic grinds my gears every time I see it romans. Ass, Clothes, and Fashion: who on earth coined the stereotype that girls are obsessed with changing clothes i've been wearing the same t shirt and pajama pants for two days now and the same bra for like three thenarator OOH OOH I KNOW THIS ONE! so in the elizabethan era queen elizabeth couldn't appear like she was having That Time of the Month in front of the male members of her court, and you bet your ass if she had to remain in the public eye while she was bleeding from the snatch then the rest of the female courtiers did too. because they didn't have handy dandy tampons back in the day, they would basically shove a rag down there and inevitably bleed onto the inner layers of their clothes. she what did they do? changed clothes. about eight times a day to be precise, and they did that all month long, so none of the delicate male constitutions would be offended by unseen yet implied bloody lady parts. this is part of why fashion was such a huuuuuge cultural item (and the secondhand clothing industry was such a huge part of society) because they had to appear like they were just doing it out of vanity/showing off their wealth. this became pretty much the standard mode of behavior for ladies who had to be out and about during shark week, right up until some nurses realized that the specialized gauze pads they used to plug up bullet wounds would work great for other such bleeding holes so yeah if you were wondering why dudes think women change their clothes a lot its because they don't understand periods Why girls change clothing all the time

Ouija, Saw, and Vision: Thousands of people across the planet believe that ghosts exist. Interestingly though there may be a very good reason why people think they' ve been visited by a spirit from beyond the grave and it has nothing to do with people dying in your home, Ouija boards or demonic forces. In fact the reason that people see ghosts or otherworldly apparitions is all down to something called infrasound' a frequency of sound so low (20Hz to be precise) that the human ear can't hear it but that doesn't mean we can't feel it This particular frequency can be generated a number of ways including. earthquakes, nuclear bombs and even pigeons. The idea is that if infrasound hits the human eye at just the right frequency and strength it can cause the eye to vibrate, distorting a person's vision causing them to see spooky ghosts and whatnot. Infrasound can have another effect as well. it can cause people to feel uncomfortable as though there's a person to feel like there's something else in the room and some subjects who' ve been exposed to the frequency have reported a profound sense of dread, nausea and a general sense of unease. No doubt though all you believers are thinking: "Well, that's all well and good but I saw a ghost and here wasn'ta nuclear blast for miles" and you'd be right But infrasound can also be generated by something in every house. Namely the pipes in your wall which are more than capable of generating the 20Hz needed to bring on nausea, anxiety and uneasiness. The connection between infrasound and ghosts were first noticed by Vic Tandy. a part-time lecturer at Coventry University Tandy noticed was working in a supposedly haunted laboratory at Warwick, when he began to feel anxious and saw a grey blob out of the corner of his eye. When he turned to face the blob though the mysterious mark disappeared. While investigating the cause of the grey blob he discovered that the lab's extractor fan was emitting a frequency of 18.98 Hz, very close to the resonant frequency of the eye. He believes that this is what caused him to see the ghost Of course this is just a theory for why people see ghosts and we can't disprove that it's the souls of the dead visiting but on the balance of probability what's more likely? GOOD NIGHT. SLEEP TIGHT Scientists Vic Tandy At Coventry University May Have Found An Explanation For Ghosts
