Tupac’s Handwritten ‘Dear Mama’ Lyrics For Sale, $25k Per Page – blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Weeks ago, the cars that both hip-hop legends, BiggieSmalls and TupacShakur, were gunned down in went up for sale. Now, TMZ reports that the handwritten lyrics of “Dear Mama” will be the next historical artifact that will be up for grabs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The three sheets of notebook paper with the handwritten lyrics to the classic tune will be sold for $25,000 per page, on MomentsInTime.com. Apparently, the website received the lyrics to the 1995 hit from a private collector in Poland, who reportedly got it from the studio where Tupac laid down the track. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The $75,000 lyrics sheets show the handwritten lyrics to the song, a few notes in the margins and a strange note at the bottom of the sheet. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Some m*thafuckerz say that I have been raped in jail. They want me dead for how I succeed in the rap game,” the note read. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Thug life 4 life.”: Tupac's Handwritten 'Dear Mama, Lyrics For Sale, $25k Per Page @Dalleraier DaiR MALa wee lil aru G cars cle t'AvoyuM alive,ut aul allthe She pp4M eew t zu. BET To Air ‘Street Dreams’ Series Based On The Life Of Nas - blogged by: @eleven8 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After the success of New Edition’s mini-series, BET is focusing their sights on Nasty Nas. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ BET has given the green light to a scripted series based on the life of Nas. “Street Dreams,” which will be set in New York City in the 90’s, will be executive produced by Nas himself. Deadline describes the series as a show about music, family and the trials and tribulations of the rap game, as it tracks the ascent of Nas, a young man from the Queensbridge projects who will go on to become a famous rapper. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Nas took to Instagram to thank BET for the opportunity. He also announced that he is looking for an actor to play the 16 year old Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “We are looking to cast a talented actor who can play the 16 year old me,” said Nas. ” I need someone who has what it takes to hold my projects down.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The new hour-long series will be directed by ‘Rush’ creator Jonathan Levine, who also wrote the script. If this show bears any similarity to ‘The Get Down,’ I’m totally here for it.: BET To Air Street Dreams' Series Based On The Life Of Nas @balleralert Houseg BET To Air ‘Street Dreams’ Series Based On The Life Of Nas - blogged by: @eleven8 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After the success of New Edition’s mini-series, BET is focusing their sights on Nasty Nas.
