Being Alone, Animals, and Beautiful: eutopianext: khaaaaaaaaaan: the-tarot-cafe: She is singing an ancient herding song from mid-north Sweden and Norway. I sense very old vibrations in the calling tones. See what happens to the cows as the singing calls. The singer is Jonna Jinton. Ohohoh, but we have SO MANY of these old songs and tunes (called “kulokk” in Norwegian). Some with lyrics, some without. Some with straight up talking and almost shouting inbetween the most enchanting melodies. They’re using every bit of their voice range to create these tunes, and it’s all based on a wonderful traditional Scaninavian way of singing (that can be a lot more characteristic than in this video, but this is beautiful as well!). In Norway up to the 1800s these amazing women (and only women) spent their summers, often all alone, in the Norwegian mountains to herd and milk cows, and let the animals roam freely. To attract them they would make up these wonderful tunes, and there is even folklore that connects these women to the huldra, which is a Scandinavian forest/mountain siren. She takes the form of a beautiful woman, often portrayed in traditional dresses that partly cover up her animal tail (in Norway a cow’s tail, in Sweden a fox’ tail) that would give away her true nature if anyone saw it. So, the tunes and their effect on animals, combined with these strong women in the beautiful landscape was just too much for people to handle, so people started fantasizing about women like these being straight up supernatural. American version no one asked for: a farmer in Kansas with a trombone.
Bodies , Logic, and Newman: BUTOTHINKOSEE A PROBLEM ALREADY unaffiliatedpangolin: siryouarebeingmocked: alaija: cisnowflake: weaponizedhorse: nunyabizni: eric-coldfire: simon-newman: jeepsarmitage: doomy: occupy-democrats: mstar1960: occupy-democrats: Imagine wanting to spend billions on something so easily circumvented. I guess lefties think that illegal aliens can walk on water. Wow, you’re right. There’s a huge flaw in my post, I forgot that humans have no way to get across water. Thanks for pointing that out, I’ll get right on deleting this. Gay Mexicans on boats… This isn’t even covering planes Considering how many people from Cuba have died trying to cover the 40 miles from there to the US I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that this would wind up having a higher mortality rate than that. ^^ plus where are all these people getting boats from We also have much better boats that could stop their boats. Well Australia doesn’t have a problem with people walking here, so bodies of water must be somewhat effective at preventing illegal immigration. Those waters are already patrolled. It’s just a perfect solution fallacy (nirvana fallacy) with added snark. The exact high standards of logic I’d expect from occupy-dems. Also, doesn’t O-D support gun control to stop shootings? https://occupy-democrats.tumblr.com/tagged/gun-control Yes, yes they do. Each one of those lines is hundreds of miles long. And the Coast Guard exists. OK but… Ya’ll realize that lots of people do still successfully make it to shore on homemade rafts and shit right? “The Coast Guard exists”, so do border patrol agents. Shockingly they don’t stop everybody.
Fail, News, and Shit: Do you believe President Trump is a racist? Yeah. Yeah. No question. How can you say that? shadesoforlando: now-exiting-fuckability: whyyoustabbedme: why in the world are we still asking this question in 2019? Trump: says and does racist things. People: call Trump racist. Journalists and politicians: Ok but like There’s no benefit in her going on live television and saying Trump is a racist without elaborating on the subject What he’s asking is a leading question and sure, taking his ‘how can you say that’ out of context works well to make him seem like he supports Trump but that’s not how it was said in the interview. How it was said was to get her to continue to talk about why Trump is a racist Don’t believe me? Skip ahead in this video to 0:15 seconds and listen to the entire thing in context. She then goes on to ELABORATE on how he uses dogwhistles and his reaction to Charlottesville (by calling Nazi’s fine people) so people who tune in to the interview can draw connections to what she’s saying as opposed to just reacting, like op did, to the exact words that are said. I think too many people on here fail to realize that news, real news, isn’t done by just saying shit. You have to be able to back it up and in order to do so, you need to be able to spell something out for people who don’t get it. And someone who already has been criticized by people for her views (including by people on here, bizarrely, because they keep things she’s said out of context) need to be able to get all the information out there.
