Drone, Obama, and True: STRENGTH MPERIALISM beyonslayed: c-bassmeow: beyonslayed: This post is wack cause Obama was full strength imperialism if anything Trump’s (unintentionally) impeding the US from exercising its might i agree except with the last part cus Trump is expanding war in a few more countries as well as increasing drone strikes by hundreds of percentage points so what am i missing?   wanting to tank NATO, alienating European allies, tearing up the Iran deal, picking a (more overt) fight with China , leaving the UN human rights council, etc That may be true but there is again many counterfactuals to this narrative that trump is impeding the US’s ability to exercise its might. He wants to invade Venezuela and had to be talked out of it even tried to convince the Colombian President and even mentioned it in meetings despite his aides pleading him not to , he has warhawks as advisors who will, mark my words enter us in more wars or proxy wars, The Syria bombing and military efforts, he may be alientatint NATO but he also had their troops stationed around Russia’s borders despite liberals claiming he’s soft on Russia, and again he has increased military actions in more countries and increased drone strikes so tearing up deals doesn’t mean much when we are still the military bully of the world killing more innocent brown civilians then before. I hate Obama but still . what you said is partly true by establishment PR friendly standards and yes he’s scaling back on some things (some which are good like environmental agreements). he’s throwing over the chess game that establishment types set up but he’s actually much worse in other areas. I don’t think he’s damaging US imperialism but just taking it in a different direction. His regime will support right wing governments around the world and he will as all presidents do arm terrorists and paramilitary groups.

Okoumou said she would not leave the base of the statue until “all the children are released.” ___ Officer Brian Glacken of the New York City Police Department’s Emergency Service Unit said in a statement: - "At first she was being a little combative, then she was willing to cooperate with us. Climbing, College, and Fire: In Case of Fire Do lot Use Elevator Use Stairs thesilencedmasses: adminover20: radglawr: haedia: thewolfofnibu: stahscre4m: there are guys in my dorm who decided to play cards in the elevator see what intrigues me about college isn’t the intellectual pursuit or the bonding or whatever, its the fact that people have the freedom to do random shit like this Okay, everybody, I have a story about random shit in college. When I was in college, there was a particular class I took where, no matter what time you walked into class, if you made it into the room before the professor, you wouldn’t be counted late. I mean, that’s a pretty cool policy, given how some professors are really obnoxious about attendance.  Well, one time, a fellow student of mine was running late to class. As she reached the edge of the building, she saw her professor making it to the front steps (super long rectangular building here). He looks up from walking and he sees her. He then points to his watch, gives her a well-meaning “Look who’s late” face, and walks on inside. What he didn’t know, though, was that this particular student was like freakishly good at bouldering and related climbing skills, so she was just like “Fuck it” and SCALED THE BUILDING! She tapped on the window of the 4th floor classroom (the floors had like 20ft ceilings, so, she was quite a ways up there), nearly making one student piss himself. They opened the window, she rolled through, onto the floor, and slid into her seat about five seconds before the professor opened the door to the classroom.  He did a double take, started to say “How the hell d—” when a security guard ran in, red-faced and panting, pointed at her and bellowed “STOP DOING THAT!” omfg the amount of fucks college kids don’t give astounds me IVE ONLY SEEN THIS POST IN SCREENSHOTS I LOVE THE IMPLICATION THAT THIS STUDENT HAS A REPUTATION FOR SCALING THE BUILDINGS
Climbing, Food, and Friends: LIFEISMEANT TO BEENJOYED Nowadays everyone including you are being subjected to a socially constructed myth that you’re either “working and paying your dues”, or you’re “being lazy”. There’s no in-between. Enjoyment is greedy, work is good. 🤔 The reason so many people in the American workforce are unhappy is because they are being told a lie: getting ahead, scaling the ladder, or making more money are supposed to make you happy. But this is not true. Any culture with an ounce of wisdom will tell you that what makes you happy are: ✔️Connections with other people. ✔️Companionship. ✔️New experiences, and discovering yourself. This is why other countries are more “people oriented” versus being simply career minded. 👇Here’s the solution to start enjoying life! Simply shift priorities! Do the unthinkable and put “getting ahead” and climbing your individual or corporate career ladders on the back-burner. Prioritize meeting people and enjoying life. Find ways to supplement your income and turn your full-time job into a part-time. Spend the rest of your extra hours taking dance classes, cooking food, throwing dinner parties, going out, or just relaxing in nature. - Finally, a very important point to make is that we become scared that making lifestyle-happiness-low stress a priority over, say, climbing a corporate ladder or working more, is that you’ll end up a “bum”, you won’t have enough saved for “retirement”, maybe your friends will think you’re a loser. Nope. By leading a more relaxed lifestyle, your performance will go up. Happiness=greater performance. You’re more likely to become a very successful person by cutting the anxiety out of your life, and giving yourself more space for your imagination to flourish into new ideas. Try it out, and let me know what happens! - life enjoy millionairementor

Africa, Google, and Memes: WE CARE MORE ABOUTTHINGS BURIED IN THE GROUND IG: @CONSCIOUSVIBRANCY THAN THE REOPLE ONIT Diamond miners who work in small-scale mining – panning or digging for diamonds – produce about 15% of the world’s diamonds. But their wages do not reflect the value of their work. -- An estimated one million diamond diggers in Africa earn less than a dollar a day. This unlivable wage is below the extreme poverty line. As a result, hundreds of thousands of miners lack basic necessities such as running water and sanitation. Hunger, illiteracy, and infant mortality are commonplace. Even within developing countries, diamond mining communities are often the most impoverished. -- Besides being grossly underpaid, many diamond miners work in extremely dangerous conditions. Small-scale diamond mining is often conducted without training or expertise. Miners may lack safety equipment and the proper tools. They can easily die or be injured in landslides, mine collapses, and other accidents. -- Diamond mining also contributes to public health problems. The sex trade thrives in many diamond mining towns, leading to the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. Environmental devastation resulting from diamond mining is another cause of disease. In Sierra Leone, miners have littered the landscape with thousands of abandoned mining pits. These pits fill with stagnant rainwater, become infested with mosquitoes, and serve as breeding grounds for malaria. -- "People were created to be loved. Things were created to be used. The reason why the world is in chaos, is because things are being loved and people are being used."
