Confidence, Life, and Memes: IF IT'S STILL IN YOUR MIND IT IS WORTH TAKING THE RISK @MILLIONAIRE MENTOR As you look back on your life… where do you wished you’d been a little braver, trusted in yourself more, and been less cautious in the chances you took? 🤔 Often we know what it is we want to do, but we still don't do it. Why? We are innately risk averse and afraid of putting our vulnerability on the line. ✔️ Fight the negativity bias. Every decision, including the decision to do nothing, carries some element of risk. Risky behavior is everywhere. Instead of fixating on the consequences of a risk you’ve never attempted, try to evaluate the entire scenario, including any potential hazards. ✔️ Build self-efficacy. “All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” A great quote by Ralph Waldo E. (You better know who he is) So the more experiments you make, the better you get at making them. And the more risks you take, the more positive your risk experiences become. If the idea of risk-taking still makes your palms sweat, try to increase your comfort level by taking a small risk before embarking on a bigger one. ✔️Be intelligent with your risks. It’s important to add that building confidence in risk-taking doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll take smart risks. It might be helpful to build in parameters or conditions for each risky decision. 😉 - Guys, I hope my tips are helping you in any way and not just *like* the post and ignore the content, USE IT! - risk action success millionairementor

Children, College, and Fall: Former President Barack Obama Says He Cried After Malia Obama's Harvard Sendoff @balleralert Former President Barack Obama Says He Cried After Malia Obama’s Harvard Sendoff - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last month, former President BarackObama dropped his oldest daughter off to her campus residence at Harvard University. However, like many other families who sent their children off to start their educational career this fall, President Obama was overcome with emotion at the sight of his little girl embarking on this new journey. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “For those of us who have daughters, it just happens fast. I dropped off Malia at college, and I was saying to Joe and Jill [Biden] that it was a little bit like open-heart surgery,” Obama said at the Beau Biden Foundation’s for the Protection of Children reception on Sunday. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I was proud that I did not cry in front of her,” Obama quipped. “But on the way back, the Secret Service was off, looking straight ahead, pretending they weren’t hearing me as I sniffled and blew my nose. It was rough.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Obama continued, saying the experience was “a reminder that, at the end of our lives, whatever else we’ve accomplished, the things that we’ll remember are the joys that our children – and hopefully way later, our grandchildren – bring us.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The former president spoke at the reception to honor former Vice President JoeBiden’s late son, Beau, who died of brain cancer back in 2015. Obama spoke highly of the foundation and its work to protect children, saying “It is proper and right that somebody as thoughtful and genuine and strong as Beau made it one of his missions to make sure that every child had protection.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ He continued, saying “I am here just to lend my voice and my support to a family that I care deeply about, to honor a man that I thought the world of, and to say thank you to all of you for supporting this wonderful cause.”

Memes, Oblige, and Usa Today: Tray von Martin's Parents Consider Running For Public Office oballeralert Trayvon Martin’s Parents Consider Running For Public Office - blogged by: @eleven8 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Nearly five years after the death of their son, TrayvonMartin’s parents are considering making a change from within the government. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In an interview with USA Today, SybrinaFulton and TracyMartin say they fear that Trump’s presidency may reverse what little progress and awareness has been made following their son’s death. So to “be part of the change,” they’re considering running for office. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Since Trayvon’s death, we saw how divided the country is on these issues and we saw how the country can come together,” Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s father, told USAToday. “You have those that are for uniting the country and you have those that want to be apart. And what this new presidency does, it takes those that want to be apart and it puts them right in the position where they can say, ‘We’ll change the laws, and we’ll make it tougher.'” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Martin says that he is concerned the new administration will make it easier for law enforcement officials and citizens to justify violence against minorities. Having never considered politics in the past, Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon’s mother, says things have changed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Before I was just comfortable with my average life, but now I feel like I’m just obligated to be part of the change,” Fulton said. “The only way we can be part of the change is if we start with local government and we work our way up.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “It could go all the way to the WhiteHouse,” she declared, though it would begin with a bid for, say, city or county commission. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “There’s no limitations,” Martin agreed. “I think once you embark on a journey, you don’t minimize your goal; you want to maximize your goals. So you start on the local level and then you work your way up and hopefully it will take us to a place where we can help more than just local, more than just state. National. That would be the focus.”
