kevinkevinson: “You two could at least say hello,” Wymack said, somewhat aggrieved. “There’s no point,” Kevin said. “All they are is a distraction.“ “It’s called a support network. Look it up.“ “Thea is watching from South tonight,” Kevin said, looking to the elevated VIP box. It was too far away and too high up for Neil to make out any faces, but there was a small crowd gathered at the windowed walls already. Knowing the Court was here to watch them play sent a chill through Neil’s veins. Kevin dragged his stare back to Wymack’s face and said, “and my father comes to all of my games. That is enough." On Wymack’s other side, Abby’s gaze softened. Wymack’s jaw worked for a moment before he could say in an even tone, "Your mother would be proud of you." "Not just of me,” Kevin said in a rare bout of humanity.-The King’s Men (All for the Game Book 3) by Nora Sakavicmy scene for the @giveyourbacktome-zine! I had so much fun working on this and I was lucky to snag a #dadscene :D: kevinkevinson: “You two could at least say hello,” Wymack said, somewhat aggrieved. “There’s no point,” Kevin said. “All they are is a distraction.“ “It’s called a support network. scifiseries: The Rampart Queen Keira Akin dedicated her life to making the world a better place. All her ambitions and aspirations seem to be coming true when she seals a big resources treaty between hostile governments in the Mesopotamian region, but everything starts going wrong. When masked gunmen try to assassinate the Senate Chairmen, forgotten instincts take over. Now Keira finds herself the focal point in a global war against impossible odds. Can she find it in herself to marshal hidden powers to save the whole Earth from disaster? The good news is she isn’t alone in this fight. A mysterious galactic organization steps in to help, but Keira is the one carrying the responsibility to save humanity from certain death. She must find four Knights to unlock her greatest power, but there’s a problem. Not only does Keira not know who they are, they don’t even know who they are. They don’t know anything about the war or their secret destiny. Worst of all, becoming Queen of Earth might just mean the end of all Keira holds dear. Is she really ready to sacrifice her hopes and dreams to become something altogether new and unknown? : scifiseries: The Rampart Queen Keira Akin dedicated her life to making the world a better place. You get infinite money and once a week you get to take a child to a candy store or toys or us or somewhere they love and buy them as much they want this would be fun given the kid wasn’t a brat. There is no downside to this at all This is the best, because it says A CHILD, not your child, so I could pick one of the really poor kids on the streets and go “Your life is going to change right now”, and I could buy everything their family might need, along with a house, a food supply, toys, clothes, and everything they never had the chance to have before. And the best thing is that I could do this with lots of children, and not just one. I could give a lot of children in need a full week of Christmas basically and maybe give them a chance to have a different life. That would be great. Bless u ^ humanity still exists.  Plus depending on how you define “child”, you could be helping highschool students who are struggling with application fines and even pay for college tuition, room and board, or books Bless this post and you kind hearted people. AND it says “AT LEAST” one week a month so you don’t have to stop at just one week, you could do this literally every day. And it doesn’t say it has to be the same child the whole week so you could easily pick one child each day, ‘cause let’s face it you could probably take care of most everything in that one day and spread your child-helping ability even further. : randomslasher: seek-strength: geekinallitsglory: sashaalexanderisalesbianatheart: judgingitsilently: krazieleylines: typicalpony: How awesome does this sound though. getaroomyouheck: something i still really love about berserk is how out of context, guts here looks like the fucking villain to some kind of shonen. clad in black armor, one eye shining in demonic rage, about to slash apart a child and elves but nope, he’s our fucking protagonist! and that heavenly, beautiful elf, is actually a disgusting murderer and even then, in a lot of cases, guts ends up as terrifying if not more than the apostles he hunts and slaughters. his sheer fucking will and lengths of depravity he’s willing to submit himself into his hunt during the black swordsman/lost children/conviction arc is one of the most interesting yet also depressing conflicts presented in berserk. he’s destroying his own humanity and blacking himself out, becoming as much of a demon as the ones he supposedly kills guts might be an amazing character, but as a person he is horrifically fucked up in many ways. yet, we always understand why he is the way he is it’s incredible storytelling @dasspaghettimonster : getaroomyouheck: something i still really love about berserk is how out of context, guts here looks like the fucking villain to some kind of shonen. clad in black armor, one eye shining in demonic rage, about to slash apart a child and elves but nope, he’s our fucking protagonist! and that heavenly, beautiful elf, is actually a disgusting murderer and even then, in a lot of cases, guts ends up as terrifying if not more than the apostles he hunts and slaughters. his sheer fucking will and lengths of depravity he’s willing to submit himself into his hunt during the black swordsman/lost children/conviction arc is one of the most interesting yet also depressing conflicts presented in berserk. he’s destroying his own humanity and blacking himself out, becoming as much of a demon as the ones he supposedly kills guts might be an amazing character, but as a person he is horrifically fucked up in many ways. yet, we always understand why he is the way he is it’s incredible storytelling @dasspaghettimonster
