Bad, Future, and Goals: MENTOR YOUTMAKE YOUR OWN LUCK "The best way to predict the future is to invent it." In other words, you create your own luck and your own future. 😉 Success is where preparation and opportunity meet. If you're prepared for an opportunity when it arrives on your doorstep, and you're willing to take it, then success will be yours. - Here are a few powerful ways to make your own luck and to invent your own future. ✔️Tap into your optimism Optimistic people naturally create lots of good luck. Studies have proven that more than 80 percent of people who feel they're lucky actually work harder at creating their good luck. On the flip side, people who feel unlucky tend to believe that bad luck just happens (to them, a lot) and that it isn't something they have any power to change. ✔️Be open to the possibilities. Get to know as many people as you possibly can and build an extensive network of contacts. Constantly be on the watch for potential opportunities, and work hard to make them happen. Be open to the possibilities, even if it means embracing a different way of thinking about something, or a big life or career change. ✔️Listen to your inner voice. A lot of times, people don't listen to their inner voice-their intuition-and then soon regret it. How many times have you said to yourself, "If only I had listened to myself?" The next time you have to make an important decision about the future, first clear your mind even deep breathing works. By calming your thoughts, you will be able to hear your inner voice that much louder and act upon it. ✔️Shoot for the moon You've heard the saying, "Shoot for the moon and you might just catch some stars on the way down." It's true! You can create your own luck by setting goals that you're not sure you can achieve, and then going for it and working hard to make them real. By working hard towards your biggest dreams, new opportunities can and will be realized including some you may never have considered. Seizing these opportunities and making the most of them is how we make our own luck. - Are you lucky? Comment below!👇 - success luck motivation millionairementor

Blade, Drunk, and Memes: Store Clerk Knocks Out Robber Who Said "We Can Do This The Easy Way or The Hard Way" @balleralert Store Clerk Knocks Out Robber Who Said “We Can Do This The Easy Way or The Hard Way” – blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On Monday, a convenience store clerk took matters into his own hands after a would-be robber tried to overthrow his store. The suspect, who has been identified as 52-year-old AndreYoung, entered the Speedway on Northland Boulevard and tried to jump over the counter with a blade. However, the store clerk fought back, seizing the blade and delivering a devastating right hook to knock Young out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The clerk then called 911 to explain the situation, which was also captured by a security camera inside of the Speedway. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “He’s still in here,” the clerk told officials. “I had to knock him out. You need to get a trooper here now, because he’s in here, he’s in here all f*cked up.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “The allegations are that the defendant went into a Speedway gas station, brandished a box cutter, and stated, ‘We can do this the easy way, or the hard way,’” Dave Wood of the Hamilton County prosecutor’s office said. “The cashier luckily was able to defend himself and incapacitate the defendant until police showed up.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Later, in an interview with police, Young said his actions were misconstrued. He claimed he was holding the knife to cut something off his shirt, to which officials responded by saying it isn’t smart to try to jump a counter with a blade, if you aren’t planning to rob someone. “Man, I was drunk,” Young replied. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The next day, Young stood before a judge on crutches with a swollen black eye. The judge set a $175,000 bond on two counts of aggravated robbery and assault. Oddly enough, officials say Young was convicted of using a bat to rob the same gas station back in 2005.

Animals, Blessed, and Cats: POLICE SEIZE 10 CHILDREN FROM OFF-GRID' HOMESCHOOL FAMILY
alex-serthes:

thisistraditionalwhiteculture:

oliviatheelf:

POLICE SEIZE 10 CHILDREN FROM ‘OFF-GRID’ HOMESCHOOL FAMILY: Authorities targeting Americans with traditional, rural lifestyles!!

“Police seized ten children from an “off grid” homeschool family in Kentucky on Wednesday after receiving an anonymous tip about the family’s traditional lifestyle. The nightmare story began when sheriff’s officers set up a blockade around Joe and Nicole Naugler’s rural property before entering the premises. Eight of the kids were out with their father but Nicole and two of her oldest children were at home. Nicole attempted to drive away but was subsequently stopped and arrested for resisting (attempting to prevent officers from taking her two boys away). The sheriff then demanded Joe Naugler turn over the other eight children by 10am the next day or face felony charges, an order with which he complied. “They are an extremely happy family,” said family friend Pace Ellsworth, who asserts that the Nauglers were targeted because of their “back to basics life” and their decision to homeschool their children. Friends reported no concerns about how the children were being treated by the parents, who follow an educational model called “unschooling” where the children decide their own curriculum based on the subjects that interest them and what their strengths are.
“This is the natural way to live,” said Ellsworth. “It’s actually a growing movement. They want to have a personal education and not a factory education. They are completely open about their life. Everyone is learning by living. They are all extremely intelligent.” The family’s Facebook page – entitled “My Blessed Little Homestead,” is a charming testament to their way of life. The Naugler children are obviously living a blissful “free range” lifestyle amongst 26 acres of land in Breckinridge County. “They frequently post pictures and videos of their children, animals and their off-grid life,” reports Off the Grid News. “A May 5 post showed a video of a toddler, Mosiah, learning to walk. An April 24 post showed a happy family, gathering around a campfire, roasting marshmallows.” The family have set up a GoFundMe page to try and raise money for legal expenses.
A website for the family spells out their plight with the heart-wrenching words; “This Kentucky family of 12 people, 6 dogs, 2 farm cats and a few random farm animals was just torn apart. Their crime: Living a simple, back to basics life.”This shocking story once again illustrates how families attempting to simply get on with their lives in a traditional manner are being treated as extremists by other Americans, snitched on, and targeted by authorities.Meanwhile, in New Jersey, a WND report highlights how parents were interrogated by a CPS caseworker who questioned Christopher Zimmer and his wife Nicole, “on everything from their son’s homeschool education to questions about vaccines and guns in the house.”Michelle Marchese aggressively demanded to enter the property after asserting Christopher Zimmer Jr. was not getting a “proper education.” Police subsequently arrived and allowed Marchese to enter the home before conducting a warrantless search. The Zimmers are now suing the CPS for $60 million in a case before the U.S. District Court in Trenton.”

PLEASE SHARE TO HELP THIS FAMILY! NATURAL LIVING IS NOT A CRIME!

Fact checking is good.

Really, really good.

Please fact check guys.

No, really, FACT CHECK EVERYTHING, ESPECIALLY ON TUMBLR.

Just so that everybody is aware of it, if you don’t want to go through the links because a couple articles are fairly long…

-The father has probable history of abuse, and his own 19 yo son is testifying against them.

-They have refused to get their children proper medical care for illnesses.

-They have threatened neighbors with guns without due cause.

-They were living in what barely qualifies as tents.

-Broken glass and various other sharp dangerous objects surrounded their cooking spot.

-They were not following the laws concerning homeschooling in Kentucky (which basically requires registration and the occasional check up such as a standardized test, none of it out of the ordinary or unjust in comparison to any other state).

-The nice cute family photos? Extremely outdated.

-The pretty lake? Not so pretty because sewage.

-No heat, and a lack of proper plumbing.

Now, unfortunately this is a thing, and unfortunately the kids have been sent to separate foster homes (four different homes), but that’s not particularly surprising since there are ten of them. From the looks of things the state did attempt to keep older siblings with some of the youngest ones so that the younger ones would have someone familiar around though, which, given the circumstances, is probably the best possible way to handle that part of this case.

HSLDA (Homeschool Legal Defense Assocation), which has a tendency to take on basically anything short of cases with abuse or neglect, BACKED OFF FROM THIS CASE SO FAST THAT THEY WERE ONLY MENTIONED IN PASSING ONCE (which is a tiny number of times in comparison to other homeschooling court cases).

Thank you.
