Anaconda, Apparently, and Bodies : rosswoodpark Everyone agrees! Your intestines squirming around like eels in your belly is horrifying! rosswoodpark #one if the nurses i work with told me when they do surgery in the abdomen they have to pull those out and hang them on a rack #nd they really twist around everywhere like eels IM SORRY THEY FUCKING WHAT NOW? thatthinginyourshoe The racks even have hooks to keep them from squirming right off and onto the floor apparently. They desperately want to escape our bodies aesclepianbanshee Intestines are muscles, and function involuntarily. If your muscles did not squirm around, then they wouldn't be able to move food through them, thus you wouldn't gain any nutrients from anything you eat, and the food would spoil and make you sick. I agree the squirmy wormies are a bit unsettling, but hey it's actually really good for you! Your intestines work so hard for it! Being Alone, Memes, and News: Courtesy of @mdhealthtips... A REAL gallbladder, surgically excised and opened to reveal cholesterol gallstones inside. The gallbladder, sitting just underneath the liver, releases a compound called bile into the gut after we eat to help aid in digestion. One component of bile is cholesterol, which when too highly concentrated within the bile, can crystallize to form gallstones. . These stones can lodge within the ducts exiting the gallbladder and liver, causing abdominal pain (particularly in the right upper part of the abdomen where the gallbladder and liver are located), jaundice (or yellowing of the skin bilirubin buildup - another component of bile), and inflammation (called cholecystitis). It's not surprising that high blood cholesterol levels predispose to the development of gallstones. In the western world, 90% of gallstones are made of crystallized cholesterol. . So... high blood cholesterol doesn't just cause atherosclerosis, or plaque buildup in the arteries - elevated cholesterol can deposit and crystallize in other sites as well. The good news though, is that through lifestyle alone we can significantly prevent this. We can lower our cholesterol levels through regular aerobic exercise as well as a diet low in saturated fat and high in fiber (fiber actually binds cholesterol in our guts, preventing its absorption!) 🍏🍎🍐 science healthtips gallbladder

Cute, Fire, and God: Halle Rossi @rossihal Follow My two year old dog, Ryley, was shot three times by my neighbor last night for entering his yard. Pls share! @AFAAustin @austinhumane @peta This is my two year old pup, Ryley, who was shot 3 times last night (8/2/17) by my neighbor. Neighbor, Mr. Meyer, claims he was attacked, yet the police report shows no scratches or bites. Mr. Meyer proceeded to go into his house to grab a gun, come outside and fire 5 shots, 3 of which hit Ryley. Two bullets were found in his body, rupturing his colon and one entering his abdomen. A third grazed his shoulder. He went through emergency surgery last night and is barely recovering. We were told he had little to no chance of survival, but lived through a 6+ hour surgery. We were also told no charges could be made against my neighbor. Prayers for Ryley. <p><b>This has seriously annoyed me so much</b> and I had to post it on here to try and get it around. This is seriously messed up on so many levels. If it were a human, the law would be that it was attempted murder. <b>Please can we get this around</b> because making people aware of this sort of stuff might stop it from happening or even bring these horrible people to justice. Some humans are seriously cruel. Look at the dog for god sake. My heart is in a million pieces right now. Once again, sorry for posting this because it’s not your everyday cute post or video but I feel this needs to be spread. I think Ryley is somehow making a miraculous recovery but pulling a gun on an innocent dog or any dog for that matter is too far imo.</p><p>(post and images via <a href="https://twitter.com/rossihal/status/893165193894789121" target="_blank">@rossihal</a>)</p><p>If you want to donate something, <b><a href="https://www.gofundme.com/ryleys-bullet-wound-recovery" target="_blank">here</a></b> is the go fund me. I never normally do things like this, but this dog and it’s owner needs our help i feel :)</p>

It attaches from the front-side of the spine and merges with the iliacus to insert onto the femur. . We know it as a hip flexor but it also does some 🔃spinal rotation and ↘️lateral bending. And due to it being one of the deepest muscles of the core, tightness can have a direct impact on joint mechanics. . I don't think the psoas is as evil is as we're led to believe and not everyone needs to stretch it. But there are 2 scenarios where I find psoas stretching to be very beneficial.👍 . 🔹️You lack hip extension mobility. (You can test this for sure with a Thomas test) . 🔹️You get a pinch in your lower back when you bend backwards. . If either of those are you, this is the best way to get a full psoas stretch. Make sure to keep the glute tight throughout the movement and reach to the ceiling. The psoas can add a compressive force to the spine so reaching can help you get a sense of elongation which feels amazing for your back.😃 . Tag a friend with tight hip flexors and share the wealth! Another innocent life taken by an Islamic Somalian refugee of one of the most radicalize countries in the world and they are working over time to erase this story from the media. This is what happens when you stress diversity. As you know I back the blue 110% but this story stinks like high heaven of obamas implementation of diversity in law enforcement. The lady in the picture calls the police because of noises in her backyard of someone asking for help or being sexually assaulted she is in her pajamas talking to the police officer on the driver seat and mr Muhammad decides to shoot her in her abdomen from the passenger side because he heard noises. The story doesn't add up and more so when the media is all hush about it and their were no weapons found at the scene. BCA agents interviewed Officer Harrity (driver of the police vehicle) earlier today. Muhammad in another hand has declined to be interviewed by BCA agents at this time. Muhammad attorney did not provide clarification on when, if ever, an interview would be possible. The officer on the driver seat even stated that he was shocked this happens and it should have never happened. White privilege as suppose. There won't be no looting, no riots, people will go by their own business and by next week no one will remember. I do hope that at least this Muhammad never returns to the police force again. Also neither of their body cam didn't work at the time of the shooting.
