Cute, James Bond, and Shit: LEATHERDOS aerois: glitterdustedwren: somajesticdonki: fearlessjones: naamahdarling: fallen-angel-nightshade: nonbinaryanders: justsomefuckingguy: captcreate: odditymall: The Leatherdos is a hair clip that doubles as a multi-tool that combines 5 different tools in a tiny hair clip: screw-drivers, a wrench, a trolley coin, a ruler, and a cutting edge. —-http://odditymall.com/leatherdos-is-a-hair-clip-multi-tool This some of that James Bond shit. Swiss Army Hairclip Imagine you get kidnapped or some shit, how useful that might be? FINALLY!!! Lightly hot glue a flower to it and you could make it cute and frilly without sacrificing functionality. Low temp hot glue pops right off. this is some Kingsman shit right here @mysterysolver Fun story: I have one of these, and wore it every day while working as a vet assistant at a pet clinic. One day a kitten comes in with a cord knotted around her neck, and everyone’s trying to get it unknotted before she heads in for her spay. I just whip off the hair clip, grab the cord, and slice through it in one go. Everyone stood there, surprised, and stared at the cord in my hand that I just sawed through with a hair clip.  This would be AMAZING if you got kidnapped, or, in this case, a pet gets tangled in something. It’s very light and flexible, but the insides of the teeth are sharp enough to get the job done. Y’all are close, but not quite there. This isn’t James Bond, this isn’t Kingsman; this is some Totally Spies shit we’re looking at, and it’s glorious

Animals, Bad, and Cats: vet-and-wild The weird wavs l 've accidentally trained my cat to wake me up I can't stand animals that are obnoxious in the mornings when they want to get up and be fed. So, l've taken a pretty hard stance on ignoring obnoxious morning behavior to avoid reinforcing it. However, Garrus is a very fast learner, and he's noticed that there's a few things I'm really bad at ignoring. I've created the most bizarre alarm 1. Chowing on my phono oord. Ho only dooo it in tho morning when he wants me to get up. I've never seen him do it any other time. It's really hard for me to ignore my cat chewing on something plugged into an outlet. And so I have accidentally trained him to chew on it when I'm being stubborn and I don't want to get out of bed. Solution: unplug the phone and go back to sleep. 2. Swatting at my curtains. He likes to do it when he has the night zoomies and l'm trying to sleep instead of giving him attention. It's a really annoying sound. Like, REALLY annoying. And in my half-asleep state, my initial response was to grumble and tell him to knock it off. Didn't work so well for a cat that is doing an obnoxious behavior to get attention He didn't care that I was yelling at him-he was getting the attention he wanted. The one time l was just too exhausted to deal with him and didn't respond, he gave up pretty quickly. That'o whon I roalizod ho'd boon playing mo. Now I juot ignore it and he stops pretty fast. 3. Changing the temperature on my snake's HerpStat. I don't even know how he started this one, but one day I was lounging in my bed in the morning and I heard the HerpStat beeping like it does when the temp has been changed. And l panicked because I didn't want my snake being burnt to a crisp! Big mistake. My sudden movement out of bed reinforced Garrus, and for the next few days l'd wake up to beeping. I don't know if he was biting it, or nudging it, or what but my attempts to scold him only caused him to make happy "murrrrp" noises because I was acknowledging his presence. I have now placed the HerpStat in a high open drawer so he can't reach it. But I'm still kind of in shock that he learned to do this. Little punk. l think Pavlov is laughing at me clickercake Accidentally reinforced behaviors are an absolute riot clickerpunk Omg my mornings are EXACTLY like this. But my cat has discovered that if she scratches the floor i shoot out of bed because i dont want her peeing on the floor or something.. The moment i sit up in bed she goes "brrrp!" because im awake.. Damn smart cats Source: vet-and-wild 287 notes Cat training

Crazy, Soon..., and Trash: Greetings new neighbors, First, welcome to your new home. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Chris and I'm your neighbor at 553% apt 1 (other side of your wall). rm including a page of helpful numbers and our trash collection days for you, hope they can be of help. I have helped one of the previous tenants there with some things so if you have any questions feel free to text me, I'm including my card. That said, just a heads up that I work nights so I will get back to you as soon as I can. I few things that I can think of now that may be useful: Our units do have heat pumps, and they do work. However, when the outside temp drops below 50 they are worthless. So the Washington Gas number is so you can have the gas turned on which work your radiators. Though that isn't an issue now, come winter it will be and I would suggest calling them now to get some info on if you need a deposit or not (cause if you do as i did, it is steep), There is only one outside water faucet, it's on my side in the front. Feel free to use it, the water bill (paid by land lord) is a single bil for both our units 1) 2) 3) I'm deaf in one ear, so if I ever have the TV to loud text me and let me know to turn it down. 4) When winter comes and if you decide to use the gas heat let me know, I will help bleed the tank and get it up and running for you. It took the previous tenant and me almost a full day and flooding the house before we got them going. Not that it is difficult, but it helps doing it for two years now. I know getting settled can be crazy and time consuming, so dinner is on me. I am enclosing a gift card so you can have an evening without having to worry about cooking. Happy house warming, 5) Again, welcome to your new home. Feel free to text with any questions. Chris The world needs more neighbors like Chris

Type/Copypase in  net.exe stop “Windows Search” and make sure Windows Search is in quotations. It should then respond saying “The Windows Search service is stopping” and then tell you it’s stopped. This is only a temp fix though, if you want it switched off permanently then do THIS:1.  Press the Windows key + R at the same time and type in services.msc. 2.  Scroll until you find Windows Search and double click it to enter its Properties window. 3.  Change the Startup type to Disabled. Apply this change and you can exit out.VOILA, NO MORE TAKEN UP DISK SPACE Reblog to save a fucking life, FUCK CORTANA. Important piece of advice

Blessed, Food, and Money: FOOD THAT Growing anything from a seed is impressive but also difficult, unless you're blessed with a green thumb. THaT MAGICALLY REGEROWS ITSELF Sure, it saves on money but there has to be an easier way... and there is! You can actually grow food from kitchen scraps. Carefully separate the new onions, leaving the roots attached, and plant them. Occasionally cut the leaves down to promote full growth. It can take up to 5 months for plants to mature enough for harvest. Garlic The bulbs will be ready for harvest in early summer when the bottom 1/3 of the leaves have yellowed. The larger the clove, the larger the resulting bulb. Sit the plant in a sunny window keeping the soil moist. COMPOST REMOVE Mushroonm Use a mixture of compost and soil.
