This comes from a town in Canada where a 24 pack of water bottles is 104 dollars and formula milk for a baby is priced at 55 dollars a pack. What’s more, a pack of diapers is 95 dollars and one head of lettuce is 26 dollars. Inuit people are starving in a country known for it’s generosity. If you don’t believe this is true, you can find more images like this here. This is the only grocery store these people have in their small towns, and many people are going hungry elderly are dying faster. You’ll send aid to foreign children that are starving, so why won’t you pay a little extra to feed the people in your own country who work hard still can’t afford the prices for healthy food for their families? Please have a heart and reblog this photo to raise awareness that even in our own countries people are starving, join the movement and show the government that we won’t sit by and watch people starve. If you think this will make your blog ugly you’re wrong. Children in a first world country are getting sick starving, and nobody is even aware it’s happening. You can let people know by reblogging and showing you care. People I am close to, my friends and future in-laws are going through this. Love how little attention this post gets from my beach blog followers. Ok I didn’t think this could possibly be for real, but I found a news source on the matter. This is insane. As someone who lives in Canada, I can confirm this as being true :/ things are crazy expensive up North and our government (note Harper) is horrible at helping out with things and has actually faked getting involved before. governments hate indigenous people, this is absolutely about anti-native racism. don’t forget that.

Anaconda, Dude, and Family: 1 H Proglodyte 8720 points 17 hours ago I never really understood the whole Sugar Daddy fetish until I started seeing a girl who makes significantly less money than I do. I took her to a nice restaurant she could never afford on her own and seeing how happy she was with a big smile on her face got the ball rolling. After that even doing mundane things like going grocery shopping with her was a huge turn on for me. On her own she mostly just eats rice, but I took her to a grocery store and let her fill her cart up with whatever she wanted. For the first time in her life she had a grocery bill over $100 and she's 33. She insisted on going through self checkout and every few items she would look at me with this huge smile. It's not a fetish I ever knew I had, but I love to indulge it now. Her mom's fridge was destroyed in a flood, so I bought her a new one. Her niece wanted to go to a science convention, but it was too expensive for her family so I paid for that too. Seeing that elated look on her face when I help out her or her family just really does it for me. permalink save report give gold reply
derpomatic:

siryouarebeingmocked:

scdk-nsfw:

milloboi:

etirabys:

…i did not expect to be touched while skimming a reddit thread on fetish origin stories

that dudes fetish is called: being a loving and caring dude

Clearly, when you’re not being taught as a child what generosity and altruism are; when you finally experience someone else’s joy and happiness as result of your own actions - unable to understand these emotions you go through… you start to vilify yourself by calling it a fetish, as if something is wrong with you, in this current current age where a large majority of the people are selfish and looking out only for themselves…

Yeah, I can see why he thinks himself a Sugar Daddy.

He’s getting turned on by being nice to her and her family?

That must make family dinner awkward.

“pass the salt please”
“thank you!”

“hnnnnnggggghuuuuuhhh”

Yikes

Church, Community, and Lgbt: stilesisbiles: friendlyphantom: shychemist: bi-trans-alliance: A Christian Group Is Paying For Transgender People’s Surgeries To Atone For The Church’s Discrimination Transitioning is a varied process that differs from individual to individual, so it doesn’t always involve surgery. But when it does, those surgeries might not be covered by insurance and are often expensive, which is why a Christian group is encouraging church members to donate to help transgender people with surgery costs. Faithfully LGBT, an organization that seeks to share the stories of LGBTQ people of faith, has started a campaign called the Tithe Trans Campaign to raise money for the transgender community. The campaign takes its name from a practice in which some Christians donate a tenth of their earnings to the church. Faithfully LGBT is collecting donations to send to the Jim Collins Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money to provide grants to cover gender affirming surgeries. Clothes, Fucking, and Homeless: Will Sommer @willsommer Someone in DC. is freelancing anti- homeless bench blockers popville.com/ 2017/04/hostil.. weyounn: lioar: redgrieve: hooligan-nova: skeletonphonic: weavemama: weavemama: Imagine hating homeless people so much u find ways to make their lives shittier instead of providing them with the resources they need and unfortunately this isn’t the first time people have did things against poor people… …THIS SHIT NEEDS TO END NOW “hostile architecture” is one of those things that sounds like it should be awesome from the name and then you find out what it actually means and are filled with violent nausea Destroying Hostile Architecture is an act of human decency There was a bridge where i went to school, under which homeless people hung out a lot. Where I met this guy Bill. This guy who’d been fired from his job as an air traffic controller for testing positive for weed, whose wide had left him and taken everything. We sat there talking for like hours and he shared his vodka with me and offered me a smoke even though he had next to nothing. And i come back to visit a year later and the motherfuckers have cemented fucking jagged rocks to all the support structures so nobody can sit on them i was fucking livid i hate this shit so much this man had the clothes on his back, a plastic bottle of booze, and a pack of cigarettes, and a place to rest. That’s it. That’s all he had and he still had the kindness and generosity to share what little he had with me, someone who didn’t need it at all You know what come to think of it, i haven’t met a single homeless person who hasn’t at least offered me a cigarette or something when i’ve talked to them and you sons of bitches won’t even let them have a place to sit down for 5 fucking minutes If you see this shit and you’re physically able, break it. Get rid of it. Put a mattress over those spikes between pillars Anyone who thinks homeless people are a nuisance or an inconvenience should have every single thing that they own and hold dear removed from them for at least a year and see how they fucking like it! like, instead of wasting money to build these horrific sharp anti-homeless crap, how about they donate it to shelters instead??? Like this is just to keep up ~aesthetics~ instead of putting human life first

The 38-year-old decided to hand over the money to the unsung heroes of the sci-fi blockbusters - the costume and special effects teams. *fistbump* Confirmed. He’s also dumped millions into cancer research. I really do love Keanu Reeves a lot. Keanu Reeves is like the nicest person. He still lives in an apartment/flat and he gives most of his money away to charities and people who need it. He even invites some paparazzi people to sit down and eat with him when he’s at a coffee shop or restaurant. He’s such a nice person. When I was working on the UWS, one of my delivery guys accidentally backed his scooter into a parked car in front of the restaurant. I went out to help, since the driver didn’t speak much English, and it turned out the car belonged to Keanu Reeves. He helped us pick the scooter up, and when I asked if we could exchange insurance information (because the front of the car was pretty banged up), he kept telling us not to worry about it and put his hand on the driver’s shoulder and said “I just want to make sure you’re okay, man. Are you okay?” And he was so sincere about it and so kind that I decided in that moment I would always defend Keanu Reeves at all costs. He is an excellent man. I need to be more like Keanu Reeves because I’m evil compared to him. “Next few centuries” Keanu dropping hints that he is an immortal. i love keanu reeves My wife and I were dining at Nobu’s in Honolulu and sitting across from us was Keanu or at least I thought it was. We kept talking about whether it was him or not and finally, I decided to throw some old school Bill Ted at him. I stood up and threw my arms up into the motion of an air guitar, my wife is begging me to sit back down, and I pointed at the guy who may be Keanu Reeves, and said, “Most Excellent.” He stood up and did it back at me. Then we both had a moment and pointed at each other. I sent him another of whatever it was he was drinking. It was a cucumber sake martini. That was the end of it. Or so I thought. He left before we finished our meal. By the time we were done, dessert came that we didn’t order. We thought, “oh, must be compliments of the chef.” Then the bill never came. When we asked for it, our waitress said Keanu Reeves took care of it. IT WAS REALLY HIM. And he left a note. It said, “thanks for the refresh. Keanu.” When I finally saw him again years later, because of work. I brought it up. Then he air guitar and said, “most excellent. I remember. At Nobu’s. Thanks for the drink.” We chatted a bit and I got an autograph for my mum because she’s a huge Keanu fan. Then that was that. What a moment. An angel And he does a lot of anti human trafficking work iirc. Seems like a really awesome guy. Back when I first moved to NYC, I got a job as a theater usher. We were all young, 18-20 or so, and it was heavily impressed upon us that we needed to treat the theatergoers with TOTAL respect at ALL times or risk our jobs. As such, we were all totally underprepared for the drunk guy who tried to steal a bottle of wine from the lobby bar during intermission. We were trying to politely get the bottle back, but he was growing loud and belligerent. Since the second act was now starting, this was a countdown to all of us being in trouble. Then Keanu walks up. Calmly charms the guy. Slips the usher behind the bar cash to cover the bottle, without the guy even noticing, and walks him back in to his seat like it’s a normal thing he does every day. He didn’t know the guy, didn’t know any of us, but effortlessly deescalated the situation and quite probably saved some jobs that night. Just a wandering do-gooder, this man. #everything i’ve ever heard anecdotally about keanu reeves #further convinces me that he is the chillest immortal #like he’s probably just spent centuries donating blood instead of drinking it (via @revolutionarygirlshati) @curvethemoonshine

Apparently, Beyonce, and Dinosaur: You know what disgusts me? White people will pour millions of dollars into expeditions to find stupid shit like this, yet when they see a freezing person of color on the side of the streets they can't spare the measly buck fifty they have in their pocket. But hey, you found a tail of some dead animal that proves dinosaurs have feathers. Whoopty fucking doo! Way to "change the world" white people!
