Advice, Animals, and Best Friend: HOW TO FIND A LOST DOG On day 12 of searching for my dog in a heavily wooded area, distraught and hopeless, I ran into a couple of hunters. They said they lost the occasional dog on a hunt but always got them back. What they told me has helped many dogs and families be reunited DOG LOST The dog ownerls) should take an article of clothing that has been worn at least all day, the longer the better, so the lost dog can pick up the scent. Bring the article of clothing to the location where the dog was last seen and leave it there. Also, if the dog has a crate & familiar toy, you can bring those too (unless location undesirable for crate). You might also want to leave a note requesting item(s) not to be moved Leave a bowl of water there too, as the dog probably hasn't had access to any. Do not bring food as this could attract other animals that the dog might avoid. Come back the next day, or check intermittently if possible. Hopefully the dog will be waiting there. I was skeptical and doubted my dog would be able to detect an article of clothing if he didn't hear me calling his name as loud as possible all day for 12 days. But I returned the next day and sure enough found him sitting there! I hope this helps someone out there who's missing a best friend. Good luck :) LifeHackable.com vastderp: adorably-confused-fallen-angel: sparklesmccheesy: ittygittydiddynator: iheichouguys: lifehackable: This is potentially life saving information everyone should know. No you guys this post helped me find my cat. He was missing for almost a month and I’ve had him for over 12 years. After seeing this I put his favorite blanket he always slept on outside hoping he would smell mine or his scent and he was back the next fucking day asleep on it. When my cat got out, we called and called for him, and then, later that night, I remembered similar advice to this, and so put his little scratching pad, which he adores, on the front porch. Not even half an hour later, I heard a thump, opened the door, and there was his big butt, meowing at me. Important and vital I don’t care that I reblogged this today I’m reblogging it again awwwww babies ;_; i hope everyone’s pets come home safe.

Apparently, Bad, and Confused: 2 What is gaslighting? NATIONAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HOTLINE 1.800.799.SAFE loveisrespect: What is Gaslighting? You’re crazy - that never happened. Are you sure? You tend to have a bad memory. It’s all in your head. Does your significant other say things like this to you a lot? Do you often start questioning what’s really true – or even your own sanity – within your relationship? If so, your partner may be using what mental health professionals call “gaslighting.” This term comes from the 1938 stage play Gas Light, in which a husband attempts to drive his wife crazy by dimming the lights (which were powered by gas) in their home, and then he denies that the light changed when his wife points it out. It is a very effective form of emotional abuse that causes a victim to question their own feelings, instincts, and sanity, which gives the abusive partner a lot of power (and we know that abuse is about power and control). Once an abusive partner has broken down the victim’s ability to trust their own perceptions, the victim is more likely to stay in the abusive relationship. Signs of being a victim of gaslighting (Stern, 2009) include: You constantly second-guess yourself. You ask yourself, “Am I too sensitive?” multiple times a day. You often feel confused and even crazy. You’re always apologizing to your partner. You can’t understand why, with so many apparently good things in your life, you aren’t happier. You frequently make excuses for your partner’s behavior to friends and family. You find yourself withholding information from friends and family so you don’t have to explain or make excuses. You know something is terribly wrong, but you can never quite express what it is, even to yourself. You start lying to avoid the put downs and reality twists. You have trouble making simple decisions. You have the sense that you used to be a very different person - more confident, more fun-loving, more relaxed. You feel hopeless and joyless. You feel as though you can’t do anything right. You wonder if you are a “good enough” partner. If any of these signs ring true for you, give us a call at 1-866-331-9474, chat online, or text loveis to 22522. Our advocates are here to support and listen to you! Apparently, Bernie Sanders, and College: U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders 10 hrs Donald Trump tapped into the anger of a declining middle class that is sick and tired of establishment economics, establishment politics and the establishment media. People are tired of working longer hours for lower wages, of seeing decent paying jobs go to China and other low-wage countries, of billionaires not paying any federal income taxes and of not being able to afford a college education for their kids all while the very rich become much richer To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in this country, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him. To the degree that he pursues racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti- environment policies, we will vigorously oppose him datgucciboi: c-bassmeow: to some of u who are saying Bernie is racist for making this statement you are  so stupid. Trump won because he was a populist. Populism and anti-establishment rhetoric were what the people were craving. You know who else was a populist? Bernie. Bernie also tapped into the anger of the working class but used it in the right way. Trump did what Bernie did but sprinkled racism, sexism, and conspiracy theories. Had the DNC not fucked Sanders over we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Almost no one would have taken Trump seriously. But we have to give credit where its due. Trump created a movement. Trump’s success is partly due to his ability to tap into the frustration of the disenfranchised white working class. Unfortunately he won’t deliver but that’s not the point. If you actually did research and listened Trump’s  speeches he did a very good job at pretending to care for the working class.  TRUMP won because he appealed to RACEST PEOPLE…pointBlankPeriod that is who he appealed to Black racist white racist and etc…and for anyone including Bernie Sanders the media to label them anything other then a RACIST isn’t only irresponsible but FUCKED UP! He called out trumps racism like if you can read its there. But its cus people like you who cant critically analyze why the dems lost that we will lose again cus the dems are partly to blame for this. Im not gonna explain it again cus apparently it goes through one end and out the other. Racism was a major part of trumps campaign but it wasnt the only reason why he won and people voted for him. The democrats were elitist, corrupt, and failed to motivate their base. No one is denying the racism in trumps campaign but nvm honestly nvm lmao omg this is hopeless

I agree. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks.STROKE IDENTIFICATION:During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. (they offered to call ambulance)They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.)She had suffered a stroke at the party . Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this…STROKE IDENTIFICATION:A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.RECOGNIZING A STROKERemember the ‘3’ steps, STR . Read and Learn!Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions :S * Ask the individual to SMILE ..T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg ‘It is sunny out today’).R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.NOTE : Another ‘sign’ of a stroke is1. Ask the person to ‘stick’ out their tongue.2. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved. And it could be your own. First reblog post that actually saves a life.
