Advice, Af, and Beautiful: About an hour ago, I was in Walmart looking for my conditioner because today is wash day for my hair. As I'm looking for my product, this older white lady approaches me and she says, "Excuse me, miss. Please don't be offended by this." And usually when white people tell me not to be offended, 9 times out of 10, whatever they are about to say is going to be offensive af Anyway, she follows it up with, "My husband and I just recently won our custody battle with our foster daughter and she means the world to us. She's a beautiful African American girl and her hair looks a lot like yours. But I'm afraid because I don't know what to do with her hair It's a lot different from mines and our other children and we are at a total loss. l've tried looking up the YouTube videos and my husband went to the braiding shops so they can teach him how to properly braid her hair, but he's still pretty new and it will be a while before he gets used to it. Do you have any tips you can give me? If you don't have the time, it's okay, really! I just needed a little advice because I want her to look beautiful." Y'all. swear I almost started crying on aisle 6. So for the last 30 minutes, I spent my time talking to her and what products to use and how to properly detangle and comb her hair with the proper tools and what not to do with natural hair. And I showed her a bunch of easier to fol- low natural hair tutorials on YouTube and saved them for her. (I also had to create a YouTube account for her so she could save it for later.) but omfg, she was so sweet, and I could tell that she listened to every single thing I had to say and she took little notes on her little notepad. And what really filled my heart was the fact that her husband actually taking classes from African braiding shops. And she showed me a picture of him wearing a little sweater vest and loafers in a little shop surrounded by beautiful black women showing him how to braid black hair and even the lady he's braiding on is guiding his hands. And omfg. Bless these old white people and their black daughter who l know have new loving parents because they are willing to step out of their comfort zone just to make her feel and look beautiful. This is a little long but TOTALLY worth the read!

Stick with what your good at. Acting Mira Sorvino @MiraSorvino I wrote my thesis on racial conflict and persecution at Harvard, worked on a documentary on Neo-Nazi hate groups in Russia, performed in the film about the SonderKommando at Auschwitz The Grey Zone, and am an avid student of The Holocaust and what lead to it, soI beg to differ. Trump era is not like a pre-nazi Germany. Because pre-nazi Germany was one big mess without a leader. There were no camps, before 1933 in Germany - and nazis ruled from 1933 (first camp in Germany was built in Dachau in 1933)… so the actress is very badly educated, and the guy was right. Wrote her thesis on racial conflict. So, NOT Nazis.Worked on a Neo-Nazi documentary. So, NOT ww2 Nazis.Performed in a film about Auschwitz and the (mostly) Jewish groups that were forced to dispose of the gas chamber bodies. So, something that could NOT have happened in pre-Nazi Germany. An avid student of the Holocaust? “I’ve heard of Hitler so I’m basically an expert.“

Her bio was some wild shit: 100% Cherokee Indian I model🙈 Entrepreneur 2 Kids Email: imrealcherokee@gmail.com for club promotions or photo shoots. By the end I was confused af and didn't know what to think. I emailed her real quick saying "I'm a prince of Dubai and want to fly her for companionship." I kid to you not this is what she sent. "Thanks for contacting me doll here's a list of things I'll need from you. Refer to the attachment below." I downloaded the PDF file that she sent. This was the list: 1) a recent 3 month medical history 2) 6 months bank statement 3) first class flight (Emirates only) 4) no anal 5) 5 weeks of shopping spree 6) a photographer so I can stunt on these hoes with your car 7) treat me ex quiz it 🙈🙄 So of course being the broke intelligent dude that I am. I tell her I'm a prince of Dubai I can have any girl I want. She agrees. I tell her to recite Dr. Seuss topless and she does ( DM if you wanna see the video) I tell her I'll buy her a Camel so she can give me head while we crossing the Sahara desert. Then I forwarded those vids she sent to her company she works for now shes jobless and not a hoe anymore. Call me the modern day hero. Saving one hoe at a time. How's everyone doing btw? Barbie, Braids, and Clothes: Black Mother Creates "My Natural Doll' With Kinky Hair For Black Girls blogged by: @avah taylor @balleralert Black Mother Creates 'My Natural Doll' With Kinky Hair For Black Girls - blogged by @avah_taylor - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When she couldn't find any dark-skinned dolls with kinky hair that resembled her daughters, Congolese, Atlanta-based hairstylist MushiyaTshikuka created her own. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In an Instagram post, Mushiya explained her frustration with searching for a black doll on the market that was a reflection of her two daughters, Kasai, 7, and Keleshe, 5. “I refused for my gorgeous black girls to have white dolls because I was not in the mood to confuse their confidence. I had worked so hard on it,” she wrote. “But every black doll I saw had yarn, straight hair, long synthetic whitish curls or were just BALD.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When friends and family bought them white barbies, Mushiya would return them or throw them away. The “Cutting It in the ATL” reality star, 36, said she even went to America's biggest doll store — American Girl — and the black doll they sold “was dressed in slave clothes,” but she refused to buy her little girls a doll that “didn't look like them or celebrate their greatness & beauty.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She told PEOPLE, “I understand the psychology behind the toys that children play with — they want to become like what the dolls look like, and my daughters are black with kinky hair. I didn’t want them to say, ‘I want to be a white girl with straight hair.’ ” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After her daughters and older son suggested they make their own doll instead, Mushiya created My Natural Doll. The first doll in the line is named Keleshe and costs $195. She wears an African-print babydoll dress, has dark skin and 100% Virgin Afro Kinky hair from the Runway Curls hair line that can be twisted, braided, and washed. The doll also comes with a song that features empowering lyrics about self-love. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “It is important that our little girls are constantly exposed to a reflection of themselves — beautiful dark skin and kinky hair like that which grows out of their own head,” says Mushiya. blackgirlsrock buyblack blackgirlmagic melanin
