But Kyle didn't care where or who it was from, all he cared about were those 241 upvotes he would be receiving on r/greentext by the end of that afternoon. It wasn't much, but for Kyle...that was enough to avoid throwing his head through the rope he had prepared, hanging from a hook on the roof of his miniscule apartment. "Not today old friend" he says as he lies in his bed drifting into sleep. Just another day in the life of a redditor

Memes, Police, and Baltimore: Justice Department Will Not Prosecute Baltimore Officers in Death of Freddie Gray @balleralert Justice Department Will Not Prosecute Baltimore Officers in Death of Freddie Gray โ€“ blogged by @MsJennyb โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € On Tuesday, the Justice Department announced that six Baltimore police officers will face no federal charges in the 2015 death of FreddieGray, the 25-year-old back man who suffered a fatal spinal cord injury while in police custody. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ€œAfter an extensive review of this tragic event, conducted by career prosecutors and investigators, the Justice Department concluded that the evidence is insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Officer Caesar Goodson, Officer William Porter, Officer Garrett Miller, Officer Edward Nero, Lt. Brian Rice, or Sgt. Alicia White willfully violated Grayโ€™s civil rights,โ€ the Department of Justice said in a statement. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € The incident occurred back in April of 2015 when Gray was arrested and charged for possession of a switchblade after running from the cops. Following his arrest, Gray was placed in a police van, still in cuffs, but unsecured by a seatbelt. He died a week later. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Grayโ€™s death sparked massive protests and unrest in Baltimore. Six officers were charged in the death of Gray, but more than a year later, the charges were dropped against three officers, after the other three had previously been acquitted. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € "The officers made no admissions that would allow us to prove that any of the officers were actually aware that transporting Gray without a seat belt in back of a police wagon would create a substantial risk of serious harm. The department also cannot prove that the officers received training regarding substantial risks or harms associated with the transportation of un-seat-belted detainees. The department reviewed longstanding BPD policies for seat-belting that were in effect until just days before Gray's arrest, and those policies afforded officers the discretion to refrain from seat-belting detainees if the officers believed there were security risks involved,โ€ the Department of Justice said.

America, Children, and Community: A Perfect Interpretation Of How Corporate America's System Is Designed Livel eak SHOGUNZ CBMG The million dollar man was one of the most racist gimmicks in wrestling history. But as a kid, I couldn't see it. I mostly grew up in Grambling Louisiana so there were dam near no white people there and the very few ones that were there seemed to like black people. I say seemed because now I see how good some of them can go along to get along can you dig it. Anyway, growing up in a predominantly black community I never experienced any kind of racism so shit like this would sometimes go unnoticed by me. I just thought Ted Dibiase was a asshole. From what I remember, Virgil(the black servant) eventually went against the million dollar man & beat him for his million dollar belt. I remember cheering and being happy that he won but honestly it wasn't even because he was Black. I just hated Ted Dibiase lol it wasn't until my 6th grade summer when I started hanging with these pro black brothers on campus at Grambling that I began to see things for what they were. I was the only kid with them so everyday all of them tried to teach me something. They even had a store that they let me run sometimes lol that story is a whole other post but my point here is that our children might or might not see things for what they truly are out here so it is our job as parents and as a community as a whole to pull the wool from their eyes and help them to see the truth. @papatututyru @ig_immortal HendrixBrown picoftheday photooftheday instagram repost tb throwback hiphop mood instagood love wow crazy live life BlackPower BlackPeople Melanin tbt throwbackthursday wrestling wwe lol lmao whitepeople america usa american amerikkka thursday
