DNA tests confirms the mother and father are the biological parents. The parents have no known white ancestors. The doctors best guess is either that the mother and or father passed on dormant caucasian genes, or this is a new genetic mutation never before seen. (Source)

wow

My 9th grade biology teacher told us white people were the result of genetic mutation so…………………………………

It’s true. Which explains why the majority of the world is brown.

It’s as much a result of mutation as any human trait.

The majority of the world is brown because a majority of the world lives along the equator, and darker skin protects the individual from the harmful rays of the sun better, whereas paler skin absorbs the sunlight for the production of Vitamin D better. It’s a trade-off for which is more needed in a given environment.

What’s interesting to note is that these variances are not so much racial as geographical. People descended from Asians in Siberia and Inuit from northern Canada have skin similar to Caucasians from the Nordic states, and south Asians from India and whatnot have similar skintones to Caucasians from Arabia and North Africa.

True. People always forget that there are “Caucasians” that have significantly darker skin than what would traditionally be considered “white”. The interesting thing about that baby is that she isn’t actually an albino, she’s genuinely white. She has some pigmentation, she’s just not dark. Because it’s possibly a skin condition there’s a chance her skin will darken overtime.

The staff were concerned because their population of crustaceans kept disappearing. No bodies or anything. So they checked the video feed to find out what’s up.

Across from the the crustacean tank was a small octopus tank. This little fucker squeezed out of a tiny hole at the top of his tank, walk across the hall, and get into the crustacean tank. He would then hunt and eat. After he was done, he crawled back out and get back in his tank

Here’s the kicker: security guards patrolled the area. The staff realized that the octopus had memorized the security’s routine. It would escape and be back between the guards’ round.

My friend who worked at Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska had as similar story. Rare fish were disappearing, they suspected theft, and so set up a camera. An octopus was unlocking the top of its tank, walking across the suspended walkway, unlocking the other tank, eating his fill, re-locking the other tank, then re-locking its own tank.
