Be Like, Halloween, and Native American: HALLOWEEN IS COMING UP SO HERE'S A REMINDER: Don't be an "Indian" Don't be a "Native princess " - -Don't wear a headdress. Don't use Native culture as a costume.
slytherinconservative:

libertarirynn:

Here’s some other reminders:

-you can’t control what other people wear and do
-mind your own damn business

the headdress thing is actually offensive, though. native american tribes reserve those for great warriors (today, for tribesman who fought in the US military). wearing an undeserved war bonnet would be like if they marched around in a purple heart for “costume”. it’s just disrespectful to their culture.

See here’s the thing with that, I do understand the mentality behind it and I personally would not do something like that because I think it’s in poor taste. But a costume is a costume. The whole point is dressing up like something that you’re not. If someone dressed up in a military/Purple Heart costume it wouldn’t be the end of the world, particularly on a day like Halloween. You can think it’s tasteless, but to go around policing what other people decide wear is a boring waste of time. Culture cannot be reduced to a single thing. Things like kilts and certain headwear and other things often are based in military/cultural significance. But a Native American will know the difference between an honored war hero wearing a war bonnet and some white kid at a costume party. Culture can’t just be erased by someone who doesn’t fully understand it participating in an aspect of it.

Africa, America, and Memes: AMERICA AFRICA NegusNetwork 1798 A D. @Regrann from @negusnetwork - Per the British Museum in 1798, these are the emblems - images as representations of the autochthonous - indigenous people of such land mass. Know the difference between autochthonous & native. Notice the EXACT same wardrobe, from headdress to "ToeDress". In aMARuca - aMERica - aMURica, the WAR bonnet or headdress consisted of bird feathers & the primary weapon, of course... was the bow & arrow. In Kemet (war), Ramses - Ramessu and-or his horse wore a feathered headdress while Ramses holds a bow & arrow. In KMT, the different feathered crowns represented war, justice, order etc. The Yoruba tradition, Ochosi - Ogun - Shango is also seen wearing a bird feather headdress w- a bow & arrow. In the Hindu practice, MURugan - Kartikeya - Rudra (the Fierce one) or the war diety, is also depicted with bird feathers & a bow & arrow. EVERY single diety has been depicted to wear the leopard - jaguar skin cloth from the Yoruba of West Africa, to Kemet down to Ethiopia, to india to the Americas. In the Helios Biblos (Holy Bible), it speaks of the Anakim - Anak as the ORIGINAL inhabitants of palestine BEFORE the Canaanites, who were a WARLIKE CUSHITE tribe and the same race as the phoenicians and egyptians (kemites). In the ancient times, Ta Seti, which means the "Land of the BOW" consists of Sudan - Ethiopia. Mind you, the Anuak - Anak people of Sudan - Ethiopia, who are also the predecessor - ancestor of the Kemites, are the oldest - tallest giants (Nephilim - anakim - rephraim etc). Memes, Dessert, and Dish: look i made dis @Drsmashlove Now see Bruh sex need a soundtrack. U gotta be careful tho because if u pick the wrong thing, u could ruin the mood. Like back in the day I was fooling around with this one girl and she wanna put on Dave Matthews Band. Dave motherfucking Matthews. While I'm tryina hit my lil deep stroke. This whiny motherfucker hit that growly, whispery, effeminate "crashhhhh...into me" and I lost it Bruh. Smash don't usually lose that Woody Harrelson but at that moment bruh Woody had left the building. Had to gently ask to turn the music off, hit the washroom, splash water on my face and realign my chakras right quick. Painful 😩. So with that said, avoid music. It might work for one of y'all but not the other. Rather, I recommend cooking shows. Chopped, to be exact. Builds a lil suspense. Intriguing. And best of all, the judges provide a lil humor: "WE CLEARLY SAID THE GHOST PEPPER HAD TO BE USED "IN" THE DISH. HE ROASTED IT. AND PUT IT ON THE SIDE. IT COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE." (Side note: I eat scotch bonnet pepper sauce from Trinidad directly on my food and it hasn't killed me yet. Thank you God 😍😂). Anyway that show provides the perfect soundtrack for sex. (I speak from experience ☺️.) And the added benefit is that every time the contestant makes dessert, at least one of them use the ice cream machine, and these judges - every time - wanna be like: "OMG HE'S GOING FOR IT HE'S USING THE ICE CREAM MACHINE." And men - that right there is when u stop, stand up on that bed, look her right in the eyes and say: "AYE BABY - CONTESTANT 3 ISN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO'S GONNA USE THAT ICE CREAM MACHINE - NOW OPEN WIDE FOR DADDY" 🙈🙈🙈👅👅👅🍦🍦🍦😂😂😂

Honda, Memes, and Curtains: Via @carthrottlenews - Honda has revealed the all-new, 10th generation Civic Type R in Geneva - It’s the fifth-generation Civic Type R, and is based on the 10th generation Civic hatchback. Under its vented bonnet lies an evolution of the 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four from the outgoing model, “optimised” for improved throttle response, and a 10bhp increase. - That leaves the new Type R with 316bhp, plus 295lb ft of torque (unchanged from before). No word on performance stats just yet, nor the weight figure for that matter - but we’re not expecting a drastic change from the 5.7sec 0-62mph time the old one managed. - That 316bhp output is fed exclusively through the front wheels, via a six-speed manual gearbox and although the press release neglects to mention, we’re guessing the setup includes a mechanical limited-slip differential. There’s a new rev matching system too - a nice addition, but we’re hoping there’s an easy way to switch it off for those wanting to indulge in a little heel and toe. - Under the skin you’ll find adaptive dampers and a proper multi-link, independent rear suspension setup. There’s also a new drive mode selector. Where the outgoing car gave you a choice of rather hard ‘normal’ mode and an even harder ‘+R’ setting, the 10th-gen version lets you choose between ‘comfort’, ‘sport’ and ‘+R’. - The aero package is - as I’m sure you’ve gathered - thoroughly bonkers. The epitome of function over form, it goes even further than its predecessor, offering vortex generators, an even smoother underbody, a front ‘air curtain’ and the mother of all rear wings. Downforce figures haven’t been given, but Honda is promising “best-in-class balance between lift and drag”. - We’ll be doing our best to find out more about the new Type R at the Geneva Motor Show, but for now, we’ll leave you with the knowledge that you could be driving one of these hot hatch nutters as soon as the July.

Cars, Ferrari, and Logic: A NEWS The Ferrari 812 Superfast Is An 800bhp V12 Hero With A Questionable Name Via @carthrottlenews - It’s really hard to follow Ferrari’s logic with names. Whether we’re talking about road cars or F1 cars, Ferrari has a habit of producing massively inconsistent, convoluted and downright bizarre names. GTC4Lusso springs to mind, but wait until you get a load of the latest one: 812 Superfast. No, I’m not joking. - But let’s not get hung up on the naming choice, as Maranello’s latest front-engine V12 hero - set to make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show - looks to be quite a beast. It’s best thought of as a highly-evolved F12 Berlinetta, and it’s packing - wait for it - 789bhp. Superfast indeed. - It’s all thanks to the 6.5-litre V12 under the bonnet, which has grown by just over 200cc compared to the F12’s engine. It produces 59bhp more than the F12, and 19bhp more than the F12 tdf. Oh, and it makes its peak power at 8500rpm, and peak torque of 530lb ft at 7000rpm. So you’ll need to rev the nuts off it. Can I get a hell yes? - 0-62mph happens in just 2.9 seconds, and it’ll keep going until 211mph if you’re brave enough to keep the throttle pinned. The 1525kg (dry) GT-supercar also comes with an updated version of the ‘Virtual Short Wheelbase’ rear wheel steering tech we first saw on the F12 tdf. - It’s also been given electric power steering, a first for Ferrari. This will probably make a few purists shudder at the mere though, but if anyone can nail EPAS, it’s Maranello. - Also on the electronic assistance menu is the fifth generation of Ferrari’s Side Slip Control. That’s the one that’ll let mere mortals drift their V12 supercar while reducing the risk of finishing upside-down in a ditch. - The exterior represents a noticeable departure from the F12, and we like what we see. It’s a lot more aggressive, and the, erm, unfortunate lines seen on the back of the old car are nowhere to be seen. All sounds jolly fantastic, but we do have to end on a sad note: this is probably the last ‘pure’ V12 car Ferrari will ever make. It’s looking highly likely that whatever succeeds the 812 will be either turbocharged or come with hybrid assistance. If that’s the case, the 812 will make for one hell of a send-off.
