America, Crazy, and Friday: Nas Collabs With The National Symphony Orchestra For Live Rendition of "lllmatic" @balleralert Nas Collabs With The National Symphony Orchestra For Live Rendition of ‘Illmatic’ - Blogged by: @RaquelHarrisTV ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ An upcoming PBS concert film has teamed up Nas with the National Symphony Orchestra for a live performance that takes you back to the 90s. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The iconic rapper will be doing a live rendition of his legendary, 1994 album “Illmatic” at the Washington, D.C. arena on Feb. 2. It is titled by PBS as, “Nas Live From the Kennedy Center: Classical Hip-Hop, the concert film musters the energetic appeal of the profound collaboration and wistfulness of the audible hip-hop Queensbridge fable.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "It’s crazy, you know, I wrote this in the projects in New York City. Here we are in the capital of America, Washington, DC, and, you know, a bunch of white people with strings and all that, playing this album, and they feeling it," Nas said in the film trailer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The recording of the concert film took place in March 2014, when Nas was celebrating Illmatic’s 20th anniversary. The film will portray the Queens native’s upbringing, career, and musical background. It will also feature rehearsals, preparation and Illmatic’s journey to Kennedy Center stage. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "This was the first time me as a classical orchestra conductor was going to branch out into the realm of doing hip-hop music and rap music. And the idea of finally tackling this genre was something I was really looking forward to do," National Symphony Orchestra Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke said in a statement. The performance is set to premiere on the PBS network nationwide on Friday, February 2 at 9 p.m

Comfortable, Memes, and Mondays: I REFUSETO BE IN THE RAT RACE Is is possible for a “normal person” to escape the rat race? Normal people live comfortable, normal lives. They like it that way. There’s nothing wrong with normal. Except when it pertains to the rat race. - If you’re a normal person who’s tired of getting one raise a year (if that), tired of sitting under-utilized at your cubicle, tired of sitting over-utilized at your cubicle, tired of being TIRED, normal isn’t going to save you. So which options do you have? You only have three options at this point: ✔️Marry someone rich. ✔️Inherit a bunch of money. ✔️Sell your organs (which is illegal) Now, let me give you a few tips to do it the right way: ✔️Live like you don’t know when (and where) your next pay check will come from. Audit all your spending habits to see where you can cut back. And I mean REALLY cut back. ✔️Believe you can actually make money on your own without having to show up and sit in a cubicle for 40 hours a week. Most of us stick to the rat race not because it’s the only way we know, but because we think the alternative just isn’t feasible. ✔️Work outside normal working hours. When 5 o’clock strikes, the day is not done. There are still 7 hours left. Weird people know they need to use your time wisely if they want to exit the rat race. ✔️Wake up on F*cking Monday morning with a purpose!Weird people understand Mondays are no different than any other day of the week. Mondays are another opportunity to put in the work to escape the rat race. And guess what? Tomorrow is Monday. Are you ready? - ratrace success lifestyle millionairementor
