Bad, Books, and Children: When people say these books are children's books, as if to demean them, I balk. These books dealt with themes that adults do not fully understand or wish to. It dealt with racism, classism, sexism, homophobia, prejudice, and general ignorance. These books taught us that it doesn't matter how you were raised, but at you get to choose to be kind, loyal, brave, and true. They taught us to be strong u nder the pressures of this world and to hold fast to what we know to be right. These books taught me so much, they changed me as a person. So just ause they're set against a fantastical backdrop with young protagonists does not mean that their value is any less real This First book Starts with the double murder of a pair of twenty-one year olds who e much missed and leaving their baby son a war orphan abusive conditions that would give Cinderella the horrors. Dealing with peers and teachers who are bulies. The fickleness of fame (from the darling of Gryffindor to the outcast.) The idea that there are things worth fighting and dying for, spoken by the child protagonist. Three children promptly acting on that willingness to sacrifice their lives, and two of them getting injured doing so Second book. The equivalent of racism with the pro-pureblood attitude by an eleven year old girl being groomed and then used by a charming, handsome older male. The imbalance of power and resultant abuse inherent in slavery. Fraud perpetuated by stealing something very intimate. Plot driven hird book: The equivalent of ableism with a decent, kind and competant adult being considered less than human because he has an illness that adversely affects his behaviour at certain times. A justice system that is the opposite of just. Promises of removing an abused child from the abusive environment can't always be kept. The innocent suffer while the guilty thrive. Fouth book: More fickleness of fame. The privileged mistreating and undermining the underprivileged because they can. A master punishing a slave for his own misjudgment, and the slave blaming herself. A sports tournament which involves mortal risk being cheered by spectators. A wonderful young man being murdered y because he was in the way. A young boy being tortured, humilated and nearly murdered. Fifth book: PTSD in the teenage protagonist. Severe depression in the protagonist's godfather, triggered by inherited mental health issues and being forced to stay in a house where abuse occured. A bigoted tyrant who lives to crush everyone under her heel, torturing a teenager for telling the truth in the name of the government (and trying to suck his soul out too). The discovery that your idols can feet of clay after all. An effort to save the life of someone dear and precious actually costing that very same life. The loss of a father-figure and the resultant guilt Sixth book: The idea that a soul can be broken beyond repair. Drugs with the potential for date rape are shown as having achieved exactly that in at least one case, resulting in a pregnancy. Well-meaning chauvinism trying to control the lo life of a young woman. Internalised prejuidce resulting in refusing the one you love out of lack of love but out of fear of tainting them. The mortality of those that seem powerful and larger than life Seventh book Bad situations can get worse, to the point where even the end up suffering and afraid. More internalised prejudice and feaf hysterical terror of ting those you love. Self-sacrifice and the loss of loved ones, EVERYWHE se who are bitter are often so with a reason. The necessity of defeating yo inner demons, even though it's never as cool as it sounds. Don't underestimate those that are enslaved. Other people's culture isn't always like your own. An entrepreneurial sort, eBay user “justtheshirt” realized that for some people, the perfect gift for, say, the baby of a beekeeper is a onesie saying “Daddy’s Little Beekeeper.” In fact, the more obscure the profession, the more excited the customer will feel about the representation! So they took a list of All the Professions, and generated a listing for each one. If someone buys a onesie, they can stamp it with whatever the listing said - and make a rather enormous profit, on a £3 onesie, having made exactly one design and used one script. Genius! The issue is, they didn’t curate the list. Not a single human appears to have overseen this process. So they have inadvertently created some uncomfortably themed babywear, like “Daddy’s Little Maid,” “Daddy’s Little Nightwalker,” and “Daddy’s Little Courtesan.” The database also contained a massive proportion of obscure Medieval English professions, like “fulker” and “meader” and “whipcord maker.” (The auto-generated listing enthuses something like, “the perfect gift for a whipcord maker - or just for someone who wishes they were one!”) There are onesies for babies whose daddies are herbalists, muleteers and sacristans. I have come full circle in my feelings about this and now I am all in favor of dressing babies in these, as long as the profession is incredibly obscure, and the daddy in question refuses to explain anything.

Batman, Beautiful, and Iron Man: WHY IRON MAN WILL DIE IN INFINITY WAR For the longest time I've had this feeling deep in my stomach! I think iron man will die in Infinity war and here's why... so we all know RDJ is getting older. His contract is almost up. He can't keep playing this role for much longer. Since the start of the MCU back in 2008 he's been he golden boy. The person who has connections with everyone. I think he will be passing that torch to Spider-Man in homecoming. We also heard that Spider-Man would be the person we follow AFTER infinity war so this adds up even more. Spider-Man will be the poster boy for marvel after iron man leaves. Also Gwyneth Paltrow has recently extended her contract. I have a feeling that she will show up at Tony's funeral. I think marvel can do something very big here. They have the opportunity to have their version of "the death of superman". Picture this. At Tony's funeral we see the ENTIRE mcu there. They all have ties to tony. Everyone. That will be a scene with over 30 characters. I also think its just a beautiful way to come full circle. Tony is the one who started all this back in 2008 and he'll be the one to finish it 10 years later in 2018👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 What do you think? Let me know down below! Head, Life, and Memes: [Series Finale Extended Teaser] I have a theory and it's not a good one. A lot of people think that Stefan might die in the finale because there's gonna be a big death. So my theory is that it's true and this trailer are actually parts of Stefan's goodbye to Elena. And I think it's in her head but I still can't figure out why. But she seems to wear the same outfit as in 4x01 (white top and purple cardigan), people already posted about that weeks ago. It's from the moment when they sat on the roof and Stefan gave Elena her daylight ring. Stefan memorizes their moments, they go to their old high school, because that's where they first met. They were also seen filming a scene at the Gilbert house, which can obviously exist in their imagination in their heads. Stefan memorizes all the important moments of their time together, because when she came into his life, it changed everything. It's not even gonna be in a romantic way but maybe similar to their goodbye in 6x22. Maybe that's why Stefan smiles so brightly at her, but actually has tears in his eyes, and maybe that's why Elena asks "What happened? Why am I hear right now?". Because he's saying goodbye. They also said that they will pick up the line "I met a boy and it was epic", which is obviously about Stefan, and the episode's title is "I was feeling epic". Maybe they will come full circle with the pilot quote "I'm a vampire and this is my story" and all of this leads to Stefan's death in the finale. I hate to say this but it makes sense to me. It would be horrible if Stefan dies, he doesn't deserve it, he deserves a happy ending like everyone else 😭 It's just a THEORY by me, not a spoiler! Tell me if I missed something and what you actually think 👇🏻 ⠀ Youtube: thevampirediaries Song: Dream - Imagine Dragons [ stelena elenagilbert stefansalvatore tvd thevampirediaries vampirediaries tvdforever 8x16]
