I threw it out and thought little of it On the 19th, I found another post it note on the back of my desk chain, in the same handwriting as the previous note, telling me to make sure I "saved my documents". I was freaked out, but there were no other signs of a break-in, so I set up a web-cam in my house aimed at my desk and used a security-cam app for it to record after detecting movement On the 28th, I woke up to find another post-it note, this one saying "Our landlord isn't letting me talk to you, but it's important we do." I immediately checked the webcam's folder on my computer and found nothing from the night before, but my computer's recycling bin had been emptied, which I am certain I did not do recently, indicating someone had noticed the webcam and deleted the files. (They were just saved straight to a folder on my desktop called "Webcam". Today, on the 1st of May, I found another post it note, this time on the outside of my door, with nothing written on it- and there also appeared to be post-its on many other doors in my apartment complex, all blank, in varying colors Do I have any legal recourse here? It's possible that your landlord is leaving notes inside your apartment, but they don't

he got the CO detector out, saw that it was in dangerous levels (there was a problem with an underground parkade in his building, iirc), calmly went “shit”, and went to the hospital. If he didn’t get that advice, he would most likely be dead now.
The best part? He didn’t get a webcam app or anything. He just made a folder, called it Webcam, and called it a night in his carbon monoxide induced delirium.
This is honestly one of my favorite Reddit stories.

The Haunted Mansion is one where Disney needs to let go of it’s “family friendly” thing and just plain out go hard-R. Yes, the zombie scene was great, but when you’re on the ride you can tell most of the ghosts are people who died pretty horribly. That’s why there’s ghosts. It’s time for Disney to just grow up. Funny enough, that’s why I call ‘Crimson Peak’ the Adult Haunted Mansion.It also feels like it’s a bit of a practice due to the fact Guillermo del Toro directed Crimson Peak and also was one of the screenplay writers. He created amazing backstories for the characters and being greatly part of the whole thing.He even had Haunted Mansion Wallpaper used in the movie.Not only that but he loves the ride and mythos of it. He’s been working on a reboot screenplay for Haunted Mansion at least since 2010 and is still doing so. I also hope he will be directing it once he has it finished. He’s been quoted saying: “The thing I want to do is remake it.” “The movie I see in my head of the Haunted Mansion is not, I believe, what everyone is imagining it to be. It’s not just a regular world with a haunted mansion plopped in the middle. I really am thinking of a movie that has a heightened reality.” “We are not making it a comedy. We are making it scary and fun at the same time, but scary will be scary.” He also has said that The Hatbox Ghost is the main haunt.He even contacted Walt Disney World Imagineer Jason Surrell as possible consult.Del Toro has said that he is aiming for a PG-13 though.In 2012 he had submitted a draft and got good feedback from Disney over it.Last year he even said he was still writing.Back in 2010 they released teaser images:I’m almost willing to bet Del Toro will use the same people he has for his films as well to play many of the ghosts and doing the make up.

The latest states that have been targeted by this massive sweep is California, Arizona, Texas, and now Georgia. Over 100 people have been detained, most likely without a warrant. And before someone says “they’re just keeping the criminals out!1!”, lawyers who were able to consult some of the people detained did not have a criminal record. There have also been reports of officers trailing kids walking home from school to lead to their parents. These officers DO NOT. HAVE. THE RIGHT. TO DETAIN PEOPLE. WITHOUT. A WARRANT.

I told you the Muslims were the first step. They’re coming after Latinos with no criminal records in their own homes now. Three minutes from my house they detained over 100 people yesterday and literally dragged them out of their houses. They are pulling drivers over on the streets asking for papers. They are following school buses home and arresting parents when they meet the children at the stops. They’re not releasing the names of anyone they have apprehended. They’re not answering any questions from journalists/CHIRLA/the public or giving reasons as to why they’re detaining people without access to immigration attorneys. ICE has gone rogue and it seems to be in retaliation for the 9th circuit ruling against the Muslim Ban. It was clear that the Justice Department was losing during arguments on Tuesday and about 24 hours later random raids all across the country started happening? Not a coincidence.
Meanwhile on Twitter, Republicans are challenging each other to see who can report more “illegal looking people” to the ICE tip line. There are accounts proudly boasting their report tallies and encouraging more to follow suit. Others are saying they reported their neighbors or friends of friends. Any resemblance to Nazi Germany is not unintentional. Be safe out there. We’ve waded into very dangerous territory.
