Arthur, Doctor, and Head: With Peter Capaldi leaving Doctor Who at the end of the year most people are focusing on him leaving the show. However, I just wanted to make a post about Steven Moffat leaving. I feel that Steven is extremely underrated as a head writer, sure there have been very weak episodes during his run - the one that springs to mind is 'In The Forest of The Night' but I think it's important to remember that Steven Moffat didn't write that episode. Moffat starting working on Doctor Who back in series 1 with his first episode being 'The Empty Child' which ended up being the highest rated episode of season 1, following season 1 he wrote 'A Girl in the Fireplace' for season 2 which became joint highest rated episode with doomsday. Since then he has written fantastic episodes such as 'Blink' which is still to this date the highest rated episode of Doctor Who, 'The Big Bang' which is in the top 10 highest rated episodes, 'The Day of the Doctor' which is in the top 5 highest rated episodes, 'Heaven Sent' which is the 2nd best rated and 'World Enough and Time' which is the 4th best rated episode of Doctor Who. I'm looking forward to Chris Chibnall taking over Doctor Who from Moffat, he has written some brilliant shows, he has done Doctor Who and wrote the series 3 episode '42' which is one of my favourite episodes, he has done some great episodes of Torchwood, one of which is 'Countrycide' which is one of the fan favourite episodes and has done even more sci-fi, he has written episodes of Life on Mars which is one of the most popular British shows of the last decade. He is best known for 'Broadchurch' which has won many awards for its fantastic writing, he has worked with many actors that have or will be appearing in Doctor Who such as David Tennant, Freema Agyeman, Arthur Darvill, John Simm, David Bradley, John Barrowman and Jodie Whittaker. ~ (Post by Adam)
