Being Alone, Apparently, and Burger King: probablyhalfelfrpgideas vaspider gayquicksilver By the way the local New Zealand drama right now is that there's this family of British tourists in the country right now that have, on their own, been such god awful visitors that the national news and like half the country is following their exploits and they got a deportation notice. Like we literally have nothing else better to do in this country gayquicksilver chaOtician please tell me more They've been in the country 5 fucking days ok not even a week. And it started a few days ago when some people Snapchatted them leaving HEAPS of rubbish behind at Takapuna beach (one of the most expensive suburbs in the country) and people were like "hey can you pick that up" and the family got real aggressive about it including this kid who could not have been more than 5 being like "ill bash ya fookin head in m8" and this was ALL over Facebook and allegedly they were all drunk too Then later this same family was pulled over for their kids not being in proper car seats, so they got taken to the dpt store to buy some, no biggie, but u know the connection was made that this is the same family from earlier in the week Then yesterday the police got called in Hamilton to a Burger King where the SAME FAMILY is like, harassing staff and demanding free food, trying to walk through the drive thru and even after police were called it took like an hour to get them to leave Now one of the woman has been arrested for robbing some sunglasses and soft drinks or something from a gas station ehdhfgrhejehehhs I think there was more stuff. And apparently they were real fucking terrible on the flight here too. But overall the situation is just SO funny, like sure they were rude to retail workers and stole some stuff but the whole country is riled the fuck up because they left rubbish all over our beach and you do NOT get away with that shit equuslupus ris fr New Zealand fucking wild Imao Source: gayquicksilver 45,339 notes Cant the brits just leave everyone alone?

Bad, Family, and God: Justino Mora @JustinoMora1 Hector Barajas, a U.S. veteran, was deported in 2004. Today, our dear friend Hector won his battle against the U.S. government and will be allowed to return home, become a U.S. citizen, and reunite with his family! Hector will be sworn in as a citizen on April 13th in San Diego. Yass!! 💜🙌🏽😊 Via The San Diego Union-Tribune: "Hector Barajas, who became the face and voice of deported veterans after his own deportation, will be allowed to return to the place he considers home and become a U.S. citizen. Barajas burst into joyous tears seated on a couch Thursday afternoon in front of a large American flag as he read a document informing him that he would be sworn in as a citizen on April 13 in San Diego. “Fourteen years, man,” Hector said, his voice cracking. “Oh my God, this is great. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!”. “I’m coming home, mom!” he added. Barajas was honorably discharged from the Army in 2001 but struggled readjusting to civilian life. He took a plea deal for a charge of shooting at an occupied car in 2002. Because of that conviction, the government took away his green card, and he was deported in 2004 after he finished a prison sentence. “I made bad decisions,” Barajas-Varela told the Union-Tribune last year about that time in his life. “I put myself in that situation... I wouldn’t put myself in that situation again.” Barajas founded the Deported Veterans Support House, known to many as “the Bunker,” in 2013 to support deportees in Tijuana. He became a leader in a push for legislative changes to help U.S. military veterans who had not become citizens avoid deportation and to bring back those who were already removed. He was born in Mexico but raised in Los Angeles from age seven. Since he had a green card, he was able to serve in the Army and was part of the 82nd Airborne Division from 1995 to 2001. At the time, he thought he’d automatically become a citizen, but that was not the case. Members of the military are allowed to apply for citizenship with no waiting period. They still have to fill out the paperwork and pass the tests. Noncitizens who serve in the military are still at risk for deportation if they commit crimes that can cause the U.S. to revoke their green cards."

Chicago, Children, and cnn.com: CNN Live TV US Army veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan has been deported to Mexico By Theresa Waldrop, CNN Updated 7:47 PM EDT, Sun March 25, 2018 “A US Army veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan has been deported to Mexico, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement said. . . Perez, 39, was escorted across the US-Mexico border from Texas and handed over to Mexican authorities Friday, ICE said in a statement. . . Perez, his family and supporters, who include Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, had argued that his wartime service to the country had earned him the right to stay in the United States and to receive mental health treatment for the PTSD and substance abuse. . . "This case is a tragic example of what can happen when national immigration policies are based more in hate than on logic and ICE doesn't feel accountable to anyone," Duckworth said in a statement following reports of Perez's deportation. "At the very least, Miguel should have been able to exhaust all of his legal options before being rushed out of the country under a shroud of secrecy." . . Perez was born in Mexico and legally came to the United States at age 8 when his father, Miguel Perez Sr., a semi-pro soccer player, moved the family to Chicago because of a job offer, Perez told CNN earlier. Clothes, Friday, and Honda: MARCH 19, 201 TIAE Ripped Apart AMERICA'S THE COST OF IMMIGRATION CRACKDOWN BY HALEY SWEETLAND EDWARDS with two of her daughters deported te Mexkke America's immigration policy is splitting families and spreading fear . . Just before 7:30 one Friday morning last March, Alejandro said goodbye to his wife Maria and his two small daughters and headed off to work. He didn’t make it far. Four blocks from his home near Bakersfield, Calif., two unmarked vehicles, a white Honda and a green Mazda pickup truck, pulled up behind him at a stop sign. Plain-clothes Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents spilled out. They wore vests emblazoned with the word Police. . . Alejandro dialed Maria from his cell phone and told her what was happening. Her heart dropped. She said later that she knew it wouldn’t matter that Alejandro had no criminal record, not even a speeding ticket. Or that he’d driven these same roads every day for the past decade, picking grapes, pistachios and oranges in California’s Central Valley. Since 2006, when Alejandro overstayed his visa, he had been considered a “fugitive alien,” in ICE parlance, and therefore subject to immediate deportation to Mexico. Now he was arrested on the spot. . . A few days later, he was given an ankle bracelet and allowed to return home to say goodbye. He was gone by the end of spring—before his eldest, Isabella, began talking, before Estefania took her first steps, before Maria gave birth this winter to their third baby. . . Children, Detroit, and Donald Trump: Father Of Two Deported To Mexico After 30 Years In The States @balleralert Father Of Two Deported To Mexico After 30 Years In The States – blogged by @MsJennyb (pic via NIRAJ WARIKOO) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On Monday, 39-year-old Jorge Garcia kissed his wife and kids goodbye, just before being deported from metro Detroit to Mexico. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to Detroit Free Press, 30 years after traveling to the United States with an undocumented family member at the age of 10, Garcia was sent back to his home country, leaving his wife and two children, who are all citizens of the U.S. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Garcia had been facing deportation since 2009, facing an order of removal from immigration courts. However, Obama’s administration allowed stays of removal, which kept Garcia in the states. But, with Donald Trump’s racist take on immigration, which has fueled his intense crackdown on illegal immigrants, Garcia’s time in the states was cut short. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Despite his good standing with the law, he has been ordered to Mexico. ICE agents escorted the 39-year-old through the airport and allowed him to say goodbye to his wife and children. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to the publication, prior to his deportation, he asked the agents if he could stay until the new DACA bill passed, as it may expand the age range for qualification (Garcia is too old to qualify), but the organization refused. He was ordered to leave by Jan. 15, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

However, the administration is not required to process new applications. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In response, the Administration condemned the Alsup’s ruling with the White House press secretary calling it “outrageous.” Meanwhile, Trump took his frustrations to Twitter, tweeting, "It just shows everyone how broken and unfair our Court System is when the opposing side in a case (such as DACA) always runs to the 9th Circuit and almost always wins before being reversed by higher courts.” However, others believe this is a huge step in the right direction.

Easter, Memes, and American: As part of his annual holiday pardons, the governor of California pardoned Rottanak Kong and Mony Neth, two Cambodian refugees facing deportation who were recently arrested as part of a federal immigration roundup. California Governor Pardons Two Immigrants Caught in Raids in Huge Middle Finger to Trump splinternews.com Cc @realdonaldtrump 🖕🏽🖕🏼🖕🏿🖕🏾 As part of his annual holiday pardons, the governor of California pardoned two immigrants who were arrested in immigration raids earlier this year. Gov. Jerry Brown recently pardoned or reduced sentences for some 150 individuals convicted of crimes. Among those pardoned were Rottanak Kong and Mony Neth, two Cambodian refugees facing deportation who were recently arrested as part of a federal immigration roundup. The “full and unconditional pardons” for Kong and Neth comes as the Trump administration justifies increased immigration enforcement by claiming immigrants who have been convicted of crimes, even nonviolent offenses, pose an immediate danger to American citizens and should be targeted for deportation. But Brown said Kong and Neth have already served their time and paid their debts to society, essentially saying the two immigrants don’t need to be doubly punished by being deported. Kong and Neth’s pardons mark the second time Gov. Brown has pardoned immigrants convicted of serious crimes, according to The Sacramento Bee. During his Easter pardons earlier this year, the governor pardoned two veterans who had been deported to Mexico. So far, an immigration judge has allowed one of those veterans the rare right to return the United States after being deported. Source: Splinter

Memes, New York, and Taken: Hundreds of immigrants will get to resubmit DACA renewals originally rejected as "late" It's the Trump administration's biggest reversal on immigration policy to date. Updated by Dara Lind | dara@vox.com | Nov 16, 2017, 11:43am EST Y TWEET SHARE 🚨 IMPORTANT DACA SHARE Many immigrants who did everything right to reapply for one last round of protection under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — but missed the deadline due to circumstances beyond their control — are going to get another chance after reporting by Vox and others about how unfairly the administration enforced the deadline. The Trump administration initially claimed that 4,000 immigrants missed the October 5 deadline to apply for one last two-year extension of protections under the DACA program, which the administration announced in September would be shut down over the next six months (with an official end date of March 5, 2018). But reporting in recent days by Vox and the New York Times showed that an untold number of those applications had been mailed well in advance of the deadline — and had been delayed due to a mysterious weeks-long Postal Service slowdown, or had been dropped in a US Citizenship and Immigration Services mailbox on October 5 but not picked up by a courier service until the next day. On Wednesday night, the Department of Homeland Security announced that those DACA recipients will be allowed to reapply for renewal. The Trump administration isn’t guaranteeing that these applications will be approved. But it’s at least agreeing to consider applications it had previously rejected out of hand. That could mean another two years of protection from deportation for hundreds, maybe even thousands, of immigrants. And it marks the first major reversal on immigration policy from an administration that has generally taken pride in its hardline stance. USCIS will contact some immigrants who were affected — but others will have to contact the government themselves
