In pursuit of your own, take a moment to look around and look for someone you can uplift along the way. I was driving around the other day. Saw a man that was tatted up on the corner offering to wash windows of cars at red light. I could tell he had down syndrome too and looked like a man that just wanted to earn his own and get through the day. I'd just gotten paid that day too and gave him a thumbs up for him to clean my front window. So I reach into my pocket as he is washing it and all I have is 20's. He comes around to my window and I didn't hesitate to hand him a 20 because it was my turn to do my part since he got the job done. I pull up to the barbershop but go into the local store for a drink and chips and buy a $2 scratcher. I end up winning $40. That being the total of what I gave the guy and the cost of my cut. I feel bad for some of you, the things that you have commented on some of our posts you really just walk around all day so blind to what's going on around you. You shame people for cutting because "it's a cry for attention" lost people who cut aren't looking attention, most of them try desperately every day of their lives to hide the cuts and scars and so many people don't cut on their wrists. Do you know how many people cut on their stomachs and thighs and other places that that are easily covetable to hide? If you're truly hurting and you're cuting, you aren't going to go around showing it off like it's some trophy, and for those of you who think that telling someone to "just stop" or "suck it up" why don't you try that in a drug addict or a cancer patient and see how well that works. I know I'm going to get a fuck ton of hate for this but honestly if you feel the need to comment something negative about something you aren't educated on or you have no experience with than you have no room to talk and you should keep your ignorant comments to yourself ~Michaela β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’ TAGS TAGS TAGS TAGS TAGS tumblrtextpost tumblrposts textpost tumblr shrek instatumblr memes posts phan funnythings πŸ˜‚ same funny haha loltumblr lol relatable rarepepe funnythings funnytextposts pepeislife meme funnystuff pepe food spam: When someone taps you on the shoulder then act like it wasn't them you got me funny. ha. ha. Donyale Luna was the first black model who really began to change things that enabled more diverse beauty paradigms to break through. She was discovered on a Detroit street in the same year as the Civil Rights Act, which prohibited discrimination based on race, colour, religion or national origin. β €β €β €β €β €β €β € β €β €β €β €β €β €β € Donyale Luna was very tall and slender, and had the most incredible bone structure. At the age of 18 she was introduced to Nancy White in NYC. White was so impressed by the young beauty that she immediately had her sketched by an illustrator, and the result ran on the cover of the January 1965 edition of Harper's Bazaar , the first ever to feature a black model. That opened more doors for the model. She made history again on March 1966, when she became the first black model to feature on the cover of British Vogue in a stylish, Picasso-influenced composition shot. β €β €β €β €β €β €β € β €β €β €β €β €β €β € Due to her drug addiction, her career was cut short by an accidental heroine overdose.
