Individuals with PTSD may be very reactive to un- expected stimuli, displaying a heightened startle response, or jumpiness, to loud noises or unexpected movements (e.g., jumping markedly in response to a telephone ringing) (Cri- terion E4). Concentration difficulties, including difficulty remembering daily events (e-g. forgetting one's telephone number) or attending to focused tasks (e.g., following a conver- sation for a sustained period of time), are commonly reported (Criterion E5). Problems with sleep onset and maintenance are common and may be associated with nightmares and safety concerns or with generalized elevated arousal that interferes with adequate sleep (Criterion E6). Some individuals also experience persistent dissociative symptoms of de- tachment from their bodies (depersonalization) or the world around them (derealization); Somatic Symptom and caused by cars Related Disorders Somatic symptom disorder and other disorders with prominent somatic symp- toms constitute a new category in DSM-5 called somatic symptom and related disorders. This chapter includes the diagnosses of somatic symptom disorder, illness anxiety disorder, con- version disorder (functional neurological symptom disorder), psychological factors affect- ing other medical conditions, factitious disorder, other specified somatic symptom and related disorder, and unspecified somatic symptom and related disorder. All of the disor- ders in this chapter share a common feature: the prominence of somatic symptoms associ- ated with significant distress and impairment. Individuals with disorders with prominent this is reflected in the "with dissociative symptoms" specifier. Associated Features Supporting Diagnosis Developmental regression, such as loss of language in young children, may occur. Audi- tory pseudo-hallucinations, such as thoughts spoken in one or more different voices, as well as paranoid ideation, can be pres- ent. Following prolonged, repeated, and severe traumatic events (e.g., childhood abuse, torture), the individual may additionally experience difficulties in regulating emotions or maintaining stable interpersonal relationships, matic event produces violent death, symptoms of both problematic bereavement and PTSD may be present. commonly encountered in primary care and other medical settings are having the sensory experience of hearing one's somatic symptoms but are less commonly encountered in psychiatric and other mental health settings. These reorganization of DSM-IV somatoform disorder di- agnoses, are more useful for primary care and other medical (nonpsychiatric) clinicians. The major diagnosis in this diagnostic class, somatic symptom disorder, emphasizes reconceptualized diagnoses, based on a or dissociative symptoms. When the trau- diagnosis made on the basis of positive symptoms and signs (distressing somatic symp- toms plus abnormal thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in response to these symptoms) rather than the absence of a medical explanation for somatic symptoms. A distinctive char- acteristic of many individuals with somatic symptom disorder is not the somatic symp- toms per se, but instead the way they present and interpret them. Incorporating affective, cognitive, and behavioral components into the criteria for somatic symptom disorder pro- Prevalence In the United States, projected lifetime risk for PTSD using DSM-IV criteria at age 75 years is 8.7%. Twelve-month prevalence among U.S. adults is about 3.5%. Lower estimates are seen in Europe and most Asian, African, and Latin American countries, clustering around 0.5%-1.0 % . Although different groups have different levels of exposure to traumatic events, the conditional probability of developing PTSD following a similar level of expo- sure may also vary across cultural groups. Rates of PTSD are others whose vocation increases the risk of traumatic exposure (e.g., police, firefighters, emergency medical personnel). Highest rates (ranging from one-third to more than one- half of those exposed) and ethnically may vary across development; children and adolescents, including preschool children, generally have displayed lower prevalence following exposure to serious traumatic events; however, this may be because previous criteria were insufficiently tally informed. The prevalence of full-threshold PTSD also appears to be older adults compared with the general population; there is evidence tha presentations are more common than full PTSD in later life and that these associated with substantial clinical impairment. Compared with U.S. non higher rates of PTSD have been reported among U.S. Latinos, African A American Indians, and lower rates have been reported among Asian Ame justment for traumatic exposure and demographic variables. comprehensive and accurate reflection of the true clinical picture than can be vides a more achieved by assessing the somatic complaints alone. The principles behind the changes in the somatic symptom and related diagnoses from DSM-IV are crucial in understanding the DSM-5 diagnoses. The DSM-IV term somatoform disorders was confusing and is replaced by somatic symptom and related disorders. In DSM-IV there was a great deal of overlap across the somatoform disorders and a lack of clarity about the boundaries of diagnoses. Although individuals with these disorders primarily present in medical rather than mental health settings, nonpsychiatric physicians found the DSM-IV somatoform diagnoses difficult to understand and use. The current DSM-5 clas- ication recognizes this overlap by reducing the total number of disorders as well as their higher among veterans and are found among survivors of rape, military combat and captivity, politically motivated internment and genocide. Children, Family, and Journey: Informed Consent form: Feminising Hormone Therapy (Adapted from Callen Lorde for the South African setting) A decision to start on hormone therapy is a big decision that can have an impact on many different aspects of your life. The informed consent model emphasises that it is your decision (and not that of your primary care provider) to start on hormone treatment. It is important to think carefully about the different aspects so that the decision you make is with awareness of the possible consequences. Each person's journey is unique. Aspects to consider: Have you reflected on your journey regarding the development of your gender identity? Do you feel that you have explored your journey adequately and do you understand that certain changes are irreversible? Do you have an adequate support system? Which risks do you need to consider? Other important aspects to explore: Potential impact on emotions: The impact of hormones can be very diverse and individualised. Your mood may fluctuate. For example, some transwomen may experience being more moody or tearful at times. Potential impact on relationships with family and significant others: Have you thought about the possible impact on your relationship with significant others? you are in an intimate relationship, this may change when you start on hormones, and relationship roles may need to be re-negotiated. Church, Club, and Head: FOR ALL Y'ALL WONDERING ABOUT Think about the company you work for. Who makes the most money, ARBONNE BEING A PYRAMID SCHEME. travels all the time, has the country club membership and goes out to the nicest restaurants? Your CEO right?! Now let's discuss the school system. Who has the big office, the flexibility and the highest pay cap? Your principal right?! How about your church? Or that non-profit? We can't point fingers without looking at the entire picture. These organizations work on a pyramid structure. We just are taught that this is acceptable. Please remember this as well, there is only ever one CEO or person at the top of these organizations. "Isn't that a pyramid scheme?" LMFAO let me stop you right there. First of all, pyramid schemes are I-L-L-E-G-A-L! Period end of story. We would not have a head office. We would not be owned by the Group Roche. We would not be Mercedes Benz' number one fleet partner. We would not be partnered with Tiffany's & Co. These big companies would NEVER align with an illegal company and hurt their brand. A pyramid scheme is this...when you give money to someone and receive no legitimate product or service in return. The money filters up and you are right, the people at the top profit. This is the furthest from the truth in social marketing. We only get paid when we sell a product or service. In social marketing, EVERYONE can be at the top of the company. It's not who gets in first or who was lucky. It's work ethic, building a client base and teaching and training others to build their own thriving businesses. The company pays us a commission to share and it's simply a smarter distribution method. Send Message Wait, if you’re VP, and I’m VP....

Future, Movies, and Windows: PVR Media Statement Theatrical Exhibition is the foundation of the Film business 12 August, 2019 PVR Ltd. (PVR) has learnt from various media reports that one of India's telecom enterprises, for its premium fiber customers, will make movies available at home the same day these movies are released in theatres. As on date, the publicly available information regarding the proposed service is limited; however, given the wide coverage in various media reports, we would like to place on record our observations. Cinema exhibition remains the largest revenue contributor for the Filmed entertainment segment. As per FICCI report on India's media and entertainment sector, March 2019, out of the total Filmed entertainment revenues of INR 174.5bn in 2018, theatrical box office (domestic & overseas) contribution was 75%. Given India' low screen density and the growth potential it offers, we expect Cinema exhibition to continue expanding its foot print in India for the next multiple years, which will continue growing it's contribution to the overall revenue of the Filmed entertainment. It's appropriate to point out that the year 2018 was a landmark year for global cinema industry with US Canada box office and China box office at record highs of USS 11.9bn and US$ 7.9bn, respectively. For decades, theatrical release window has been a valuable model for exhibitors and producers alike. In India and globally, producers have respected the release windows and kept a sacrosanct gap between the theatrical release date & the date of release on all other platforms, i.e. DVD, DTH, TV, OTT etc. Cinemas continue bringing people together to share a communal experience, this unreplaceable element which is at the core of theatrical experience, continues to deliver a robust box office performance not just in growing market such as India but also in the more matured markets such as USA, China, Europe etc. where Cinemas have regularly competed with many similar initiatives, e.g. Netfix Original Movies etc. Theatrical and at-home are two completely different experiences and each has their own places. Both these experiences have co-existed and prospered for decades and will continue to so in future. We are extremely buoyant about cinema exhibition's growth prospects and remain committed to expand PVR's reach in cities & towns across the country, while delivering an unmatched movie going experience to the Indian consumers.
