He lives alone, but he promised his kitten they would have some grilled fish as a treat! He loves her very much. The tall one behind the two girls just got back from a job interview. He didn’t get the job but he’s confidant he’ll get the next one. He needs to provide for his son and two daughters after all. Person to the left of the pink hair girl is a retired hit-man struggling to adjust to a normal life but hes recently found a woman that works at a cafe down the street from his new job and things seem to be going well. the man on the far far right is anxious as it’s his and his boyfriend first date aniversary and that’s the longest he lasted in a relationship, he is confident that this one will last tho A good post, we are healing them

I’ll be honest, you could say most of these were from a horror game and I wouldn’t doubt you.  Implying America isn’t a horror game lately. America isn’t a game. It is just a horror. Visible from i-40, between Interstate 40 and old Route 66, the Groom, TX cross Englewood Ohio @saathi1013 #i feel like you would appreciate this YEP. hey so fun fact about that last one it’s located right by the I-75 highway and anyone driving in or out of cincinnati could see it from the road and it was horrifying the first time i saw it because i felt like i was about to die. the statue was called king of kings, but i only ever heard it referred to as touchdown jesus. just imagine yourself kicking a football through those lofty open arms…..ohio 1, satan 0. in 2010 touchdown jesus was very sadly struck by lightning and burned down, possibly because so many heathens were calling him touchdown jesus and imagining playing football with the lord. or possibly because that’s just what happens when you build a giant styrofoam and fiberglass statue next to an artificial pond on a hill in the middle of rural ohio. fortunately our good friends down in englewood have contingency plans for god’s wrath and the end of the world, so they built a new statue named lux mundi. unfortunately, lux mundi is not as amped to play football. but he does look like he’s down for hugs. RIP, touchdown jesus. we miss you. 😢 The skeletal remains of touchdown Jesus is one of the more horrifying things I’ve seen. The line “heathens were calling him touchdown Jesus and imagining playing football with the Lord” is hilarious to me because one of the most pervasive Christian summer camp/“get the kids excited” songs is called My Father’s House and talks about Heaven as a great vacation destination, and everyone’s favorite line is “It’s a big, big yard where we can play football! TOUCHDOWN!” And yes, please do imagine several hundred kids getting more excited about playing football with God than literally anything else that week.

Af, America, and Funny: Bout near tarred a you, boy! kentuckwitch: missmeanest: hubbabubba-overlord: discoursegrips: cistrendered: democratic-bias: electoralcollege: trashgender-garbabe-nova: ladygolem: probablyasocialecologist: https://twitter.com/baldinternetman/status/793470278953238528  Funny enough, there’s a long history of worker’s struggle in the Appalachians and South. Redneck Revolt is a good group organizing in these areas around this identity and history. Yeah regions where mining, agriculture, and similar industries are dominant tend to have a history of socialist organizing and labor agitation, funny how that works i love how many people are commenting on this basically saying it’s an oxymoron for rednecks to be communists like… in what universe is it an oxymoron for… actual poor and working-class people… to be invested in an ideology movement that centers around working-class/labor struggle… lmao ???? literally the only reason why there has been a shift in later years is cus of fear mongering to the point where capitalist criticism has become a taboo even for lower class poor people. like many the southern states are some of the poorest states in usa?? “Let’s show these fascists what a couple of hillbillies can do!”  -Woody Guthrie coming from  a non-informed point of view i feel like once again this is Reagan’s fault because he targeted workers unions a good deal…  People are saying its a oxymoron because “redneck” is usually synonymous with “racist/stupid af” in america. And “racist/stupid af” in america tends to steer very far right. But there is a actually a whole population of “redneck” that isnt racist at all. They’re actually pretty well educated, theyre just poor and do poor people stuff. They’re the ones who end up introducing black people to white people shit. Like moonshine, mudding and camping. Theyre a trip to hang around. Theres actually a lot of overlap in the “redneck” and the “hood” culture (large tight knit families, general disdain for authorities, love of bbq…etc), but the rich white people in power dont want people to know that because if the all the poor people reguardless of color realize they have shared interests band together and raise hell. Its over for the 1%. So they try their hardest to emphasize and exaggerate the cultural differences, in hopes of convincing the low income disenfranchized whites to vote right. I LOVE capitalist critical Appalachian culture. One of the first things i learned that fueled my interest was the origin of the word ‘redneck.’ Coal mining was HUGE from the mid 1700s to the early 1900s in states like Virginia and Pennsylvania as coal was a primary source of fuel for a lotta shit. Unsurprisingly, mine owners were capitalist pigs and exploited the hell outta coal miners. Like, paying them by the pound of coal they brought in rather than by hours worked, paying them in vouchers that could only be used at the store owned by the mining company, and offering no kind of health assistance when workers would inevitably succumb to illness and injury caused by the work they did. So miners began to unionize in the mid 1840s. To show solidarity and to make their employers take notice, unionists would wear red bandanas around their necks. And thus, the term ‘redneck’ was coined to describe the union supporters who eventually dismantled a lot of the exploitive practices used by the coal industry. Love these! Just discovered the hillbilly leftie podcast the Trillbilly Worker’s Party, and I am so excited to see more leftist organizing in these parts. We have an amazing history of labor struggle, and a fair amount of labor wins, in this region.

America, Bad, and Barber: MY PAIN MAY BE THE REASON FOR SOMEBODY'S LAUGH BUT MY LAUGH MUST NEVER BE THE REASON FOR SOMEBODY'S PAIN. CHARLIE CHAPLIN stele3: anexperimentallife: sinbadism: kevinbolk: berrythehatchet: impudentstrumpet: kevinbolk: A philosophy I very much live my life by. Yeah, too bad he was a Nazi. was he? shit I’m assuming by “he was a Nazi” you meant he played a PARODY of Hitler in a MOVIE and in that same movie he also plays a barber who disguises himself as said Hitler parody and delivers one of the greatest anti-fascist speeches of all time. It’s okay. It’s an easy mistake to make. Literally where does someone come up with the idea that a Polish immigrant with heavy leftist leanings is in any way a Nazi In fact, Chaplin was harshly criticized by the American far right for being very anti-Nazi in the period leading up to America’s entry into World War 2, and many lambasted his film, “The Great Dictator,”–in which he parodied and ridiculed Hitler–as “anti-German” and “war-mongering.” The Nazis themselves, as well as the Nazi sympathizers and supporters of the American far right, hated him. Chaplin’s films were banned in Nazi Germany, and Nazi propaganda smeared him constantly. (Part of the smear was claiming he was Jewish–which he was not, but calling someone Jewish in Nazi Germany was guaranteed to inflame public sentiment against them.) Chaplin was concerned with social issues like homelessness, and was a liberal and an anti-Nazi at a time when to be either one (let along both) was to be accused of being a Communist–which at the time was pretty one of the worst things you could call someone–and indeed “anti-American.” (Because, again, American conservatives loved them some Nazis–right up until the time Hitler’s forces started invading other countries–and even then, the bulk of the US thought we shouldn’t “interfere” in what they saw as a strictly European affair.) Even after the war, and even after the world realized the despicable things the Nazis had done, Chaplin couldn’t shake the “Communist” and “anti-American” accusations from conservative American “journalists,” politicians, and others on the far right, who were still angry with him for his pre-war anti-Nazi sentiments. And when he refused to participate in the McCarthy’s “Red Scare” Communist witch-hunts of the early 1950s, he was banned from re-entering the United States, while on a trip to England. In short, Chaplin’s ANTI-NAZI leanings made him so many enemies in the US that they set off a chain of events that eventually saw him kicked out of the country. Oh, sure, the US finally issued a formal apology and invited him back, but by that time, his response was pretty much, “Yeah, too little, too late.” And justifiably so. Chaplin stood against everything the Nazis stood for, and was smeared and punished for it. So don’t you fucking dare call Charlie Chaplin a Nazi.  Dishonor on you. Dishonor on your family. Dishonor on your cow. The Nazis hated Charlie Chaplin so much they listed him in their Big Book of Jewish Enemies, despite him being gentile. America, Bad, and Barber: MY PAIN MAY BE THE REASON FOR SOMEBODY'S LAUGH BUT MY LAUGH MUST NEVER BE THE REASON FOR SOMEBODY'S PAIN. CHARLIE CHAPLIN idrils: stele3: anexperimentallife: sinbadism: kevinbolk: berrythehatchet: impudentstrumpet: kevinbolk: A philosophy I very much live my life by. No, really: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1579971/Nazi-propaganda-book-targeted-Charlie-Chaplin.html #getting listed in the big book of jewish enemies even as a gentile is some kind of goals

Children, Crying, and Family: NOT AGAIN CHARLOTESVILLE revolutionaryeye: hookahbird: makeup-wonder-woman: rootbeergoddess: wildlythoughtfulsquid: SERIOUSLY I am going to print this out and plaster it everywhere I go my heart just broke Not gonna lie; I’m on the verge of tears right now.Because this is what I see every night when I come into work. I work at a Jewish-run elder care non-profit. Even in the memory care unit, we’re seeing a rise in the residents’ anxiety levels, to the point where they’ve had to stop turning on the TV news stations (and these residents still love the news). Multiple residents are direct survivors of the Shoah; some barely escaped, and almost all of them lost family members in death camps. One resident was one of the children saved by the Kindertransport. Many other residents tell me stories of when they were kids, how their neighborhoods were destroyed and relocated and of the siblings and parents they no longer have. One newer resident was finally starting to settle in when Charlottesville happened. Even though we immediately changed the channel, she was shaken. She was inconsolable for hours. When I left for the night, she was still crying and refused to leave her room. Even now, weeks after the direct event, she still is wary to come to programs, fearing that if she is away from her room too long that her possessions and place will be stolen from her like they were in 1938. Even with dementia, even with Alzheimers, these residents remember what happened. They cannot forget their lost loved ones. They cannot forget the things stolen from them. They cannot forget, period.Because this fight against Neo-Nazis isn’t just a theoretical thing. These groups know that people are forgetting about Shoah; they take great strength knowing that people from that generation are dying. When they regard WWII as a “dark cloud” hanging over the heads of this generation, it is not with a solemn regard, with they knowledge that we must not forget lest we repeat our mistakes. These White supremacists, these White Neo-Nazis, see Shoah remembrance as something they will gladly eradicate. When people gladly throw out the Nazi salute, chant the 14 words, or march under the banner of “hail victory,” they are two things and two things only – Nazi apologists and Nazi supporters.Shoah survivors are not gone. They are still here. We need to stop ignoring that this normalization of Nazis marching in the street harms real people. It’s not just ideas. It’s not just “free speech”.We cannot forget. We cannot forget. We cannot forget. Remembering is not enough.Sorrow is not enough. They are in our midst againWe need to know how to stop them:- https://socialistworker.org/2017/07/03/what-strategies-will-stop-the-far-right

He lives alone, but he promised his kitten they would have some grilled fish as a treat! He loves her very much. The tall one behind the two girls just got back from a job interview. He didn’t get the job but he’s confidant he’ll get the next one. He needs to provide for his son and two daughters after all. Person to the left of the pink hair girl is a retired hit-man struggling to adjust to a normal life but hes recently found a woman that works at a cafe down the street from his new job and things seem to be going well. the man on the far far right is anxious as it’s his and his boyfriend first date aniversary and that’s the longest he lasted in a relationship, he is confident that this one will last tho This is so pure.
