Bad, Confused, and Family: bloodytales Teach boys about periods My mother also talked about periods to my brothers. When I first got mine I had terrible cramps. Crippling cramps. I once was camping with my family and a few of my big brother's friends when my period came. My cramps were so bad that my mom gave me a full pain killer (1 was 13 and before that she only gave me pills cut in half) T iterally laid down on my parents' air mattress and cried in pain for an hour before the pill kicked in. My brothers friend came in to the big tent and I was just curled up and sobbing. Now, I was quite the tomboy and was known to rough house with my brothers and their friends and made sure I wasnt seen as just "a little girl." So my brother's friend was confused to see me openly weeping in the fetal position (seriously, these were the worst cramps I have had in my life. My vision went white). He asked what was wrong with me. My big brother stood up immediately and suggested a nice long hike. During this hike I am sure he had a pretty awkward conversation with his friend explaining menstrual cramps, because when they got back the pain pill had (mostly) kicked in and I was sitting up at a table when my brother's friend sheepishly asked me if I was feeling better. I said I was better, and he said good. When we made s'mores that night my brother and his friend kept me well supplied with chocolate. Making sure sons know as much about periods and menstruation as daughters makes them better brothers, better sons better fathers, and better men. A man that understands a period will not lightly accuse a woman of "being on her period" if the woman is in an argument. Raise better sons Teach them about normal bodily functions Teach boys about periods via /r/wholesomememes https://ift.tt/2Z0YocM

Being a nanny I thought I woke him up and he was having a night terror. Sunday he was still acting weird. I realized I had been running my new diffuser and decided to turn it off. Sunday afternoon he was feeling better. Today at work my dog sitter said he wouldn't come out from beneath the bed (very odd behavior for this happy guy). I came home from work early and again he was very confused about who I was so I took him to emergency. Turns out the tea tree oil I was using in the diffuser is toxic for dogs. I didn't even put on his body. Thankfully tests show that his liver is okay but we aren't out of the woods yet. It is a full 72 hours after exposure. He was given fluids under his skin to try to clear out the toxins. The vet and poison control say they are seeing more and more of these cases as the popularity of essential oils is growing. Please be sure the essential oils you are using are not toxic for dogs or cats (you can find a list online... turns out tea tree is one of the worst). I am very upset so I would appreciate it if people didn't condemn me as a bad puppy mommy, but I wanted to share as to not have anybody else's babies go through this. Bless Up, God, and Gym: This old guy walks his puppy past my house every evening My auntie is in her 70s. I was telling her about a couple personal records I had set at the gym recently. In her younger age she was athletic as hell - grew up poor and never picked up a tennis racquet until her 30s but when she did...anybody could get it...she put on that tennis skirt and her lil a$$ mobbed on em boy 😂. Anyway when I was done talking she told me: “beloved, when you’re young, you wake up and keep finding out new things that your body is able to do and accomplish. When you’re my age, every day you wake up and something is taken away from you.” She wasn’t even remotely bitter. She was just giving me the game straight up so as to ensure I don’t take my blessings for granted. Never take them blessings for granted, beloveds. Those are a gift. And if you’re suffering from any physical limitation or malady whatsoever, I ask God to bless you, protect you and ease it for you! And regardless, no physical limitation could ever limit your spirit and you need to remember that. Bless up 😍❤️ p.s. “Smash I’m an atheist you don’t need to pray for me 😊.” BIH. I AIN’T ATHEIST. GOD BEEN THERE FOR ME HELLA TIMES. SO IF MY PRAYER WORK AND U BLEW YA KNEE OUT AND YA KNEE START FEELING BETTER SOON, DON’T BE ACTING BRAND NEW WITCHOE SMARTY ARTY A$$ MAKING SMARTY ARTY ATHEIST ARGUMENTS. JUST LET ME BELIEVE IN MY ILLOGICAL LIL SPIRITUAL TING AND TAKE THE ILLOGICAL BLESSING, BLESS UP 😂❤️ (📹: reddit u-crotchetyhooker)

Advice, Bored, and Energy: So bored, nothing to do... EMT Anresia ASSASSIN Sigh HELL SITE theyorhe: lettersfromthegreenroom: vicarious–vagabond: laryna6: Anhedonia - not finding pleasure in things you normally take pleasure in - is a symptom of depression. When depressed, you will also be reluctant to start things, and won’t find things appealing. This sets up a nasty vicious cycle where ‘life feels bleak’ - ‘nothing sounds fun’ - do nothing - don’t have fun - ‘Hey I’m not having fun, life really is pretty bleak right now’ - More depressed. The way to break that cycle is to do things that you enjoy. Doing things solely for the sake of having fun is an important part of handling depression. Not only does it keep you from getting more depressed, but it can make you go ‘Hey I’m having a really nice day’ and give you bouncy energy to do productive things with.  I get so focused on all the things that need doing that I forget that when depressed, doing things solely because they’re fun is the practical thing to do if I want to get thing done. There is a difference between procrastination and having trouble activating. If there’s a thing you need to do and you know you aren’t going to be able to do it now, do something fun, and afterwards you will have better odds of actually doing the thing. If you find yourself in the situation in the picture, pick something that you are intellectually aware you would find fun if you were feeling better and start doing it.’ This means that you are focusing on something other than *sigh* and playing a game can make you feel productive, put ‘life is good!’ and ‘I can succeed at things!’ chemicals into a brain that is sorely in need of them.  A couple weeks ago when I couldn’t even find any interest in reading fanfic, I eventually managed to start playing a random RPG and felt much better a few hours later. i certainly wasn’t expecting anything close to actual, halfway decent advice that might help some folks out when i threw this little Funne Picture out into the wild, but that’s nice. thank you. i’m not sure if i’ll ever break this little cycle for more than a few hours, but .. yeah man. it’s just a little nice to see folks trying to help other folks out on posts of mine instead of the usual terrible nonsense Exactly what I needed right now. Easy to parse version: Anhedonia is a symptom of depression, it’s not finding enjoyment in things that once made you happy. If you find yourself in this situation, pick something that you KNOW you would find fun or enjoyable.  When you’re depressed, the best thing to do is do things BECAUSE they’re fun, it’ll help motivate you more.

Clock, Energy, and Family: hammerpower100: This is a Black Sun Orgonite pyramid. This pyramid uses the golden ratio shape, which is mathematically accurate of the geometry that nature uses to make its many living creatures. Brass is used in this pyramid because it moves life force energy easier than other metals, such as aluminum. Another metal used in this pyramid is black iron oxide, the black part visible in the bottom. This metal helps pull and attract life force energy into the pyramid. The last two components of this pyramid are the Blue Mica powder between the brass and black iron oxide layer and the Amethyst tip of the pyramid. The Blue Mica powder is mainly used to give it a nice blue sparkly effect. It is the only component in the orgonite piece used for only a visual effect. The Amethyst is used on the point to radiate sacral orgonite energy on the top of the piece, making it very powerful, since this stone is usually used for psychic development. Benefits of Orgone Generators: Feeling better, both physically and spiritually - As energy blockages are healed and the energy around you starts to flow unobstructed, life feels more joyful and harmonious. Relationships improve -  Many people have gifted their homes or workplaces with orgone generators, and they find that their relationships with family and co-workers improve. Vivid dreams - This is an effect that many people, including orgone skeptics, have experienced. Better sleep - Some people may have trouble sleeping if they have orgone generators in the room, as it might take some time to get used to the energized environment. In the long run, it promotes good sleep, and many have reported that they have been cured of chronic insomnia with the help of orgone generators. If you do find that orgone makes it difficult for you to sleep in the beginning, keep it out of the bedroom until you are used to the energy. Spiritual growth - This goes hand in hand with cleaner energy. An orgonised house can be a permanent spiritual retreat because it provides protection from EMFs. This is one of the main orgone benefits. Orgone generators may not reduce EMF per se but instead protect your body from the harmful effects. Many people have felt instant relief from a simple pendant. If you are very sensitive to electromagnetic radiation, you may need to place more pieces of orgone around EMF-emitting devices (your fridge, computer, tv, clock radio, etc). Accelerated plant growth - This orgone benefit is easily viewed when tested. Orgone purifies the atmosphere, hence the popular practice of gifting orgone to areas affected by EMF pollution
