If something as simple as cleaning shit off of your baby requires consent what else logically requires consent. If your kid is running into traffic do you need consent to pick them up to prevent a car from hitting them? Do you ask for consent to give them food? When they say no like every child ever has do you say okay and just walk away because your kid that doesn’t understand what starving is or why eating is important said no? Oh look our son is trying to eat some razor blades because he’s a fucking baby quick better ask for his consent to take them away.</p><p>9.) Half the time when you asked that the kid is going to giggle, ignore you, roll or run away, etc. </p><p>You really think every diaper change has involved the mother verbally asking the child if they want their diaper changed? </ul><p>This black man has single-handedly caused more than <b>200</b> white racists to leave the Ku Klux Klan simply by confronting their prejudice with friendship.</p>
<p>Inspirational Daryl Davis, 58, a blues musician and author, has travelled all over the US since the early 1980s actively seeking out and befriending members of the openly racist organisation.</p>
<p>The KKK is a white supremacy cult founded in 1865 organizing members to persecute people for the color of their skin or their religious beliefs.</p>
<p>

But Daryl Davis has been battling the hatred and answering a call he has felt since he was a young man when he decided to confront the ideology of the KKK head-on one member at a time.

<p>Davis has spent years traveling across the US and forging friendships with members of the Ku Klux Klan and similar hate groups, <a href="http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/kkk-klu-klux-klan-members-leave-black-man-racism-friends-convince-persuade-chicago-daryl-davis-a7489596.html?">The Independent reports</a>. Davis says that because of his efforts, 200 people have renounced their membership in the KKK. Some have even given Davis their ceremonial robes and hoods as a gesture to signify their departure from the group.

And in an <a href="http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/03/the-audacity-of-talking-about-race-with-the-klu-klux-klan/388733/">interview with The Atlantic</a>, he recounted an episode in which a member of the NAACP criticized him, too:</p>
<p>“I had one guy from an NAACP branch chew me up one side and down the other, saying, you know, we’ve worked hard to get ten steps forward. Here you are sitting down with the enemy having dinner, you’re putting us twenty steps back. I pull out my robes and hoods and say, ‘look, this is what I’ve done to put a dent in racism. I’ve got robes and hoods hanging in my closet by people who’ve given up that belief because of my conversations sitting down to dinner. They gave it up. </p>
