Click, Crush, and Cute: Finn Rey Click for some fluff Premise:Rey drags Finn into the freezing cold to make a snowman. Bonus: 1990's AU (kogami)
I just had to write this one (90s high school AU):

“C’mon, let’s go!” Rey squealed as she drug Finn along the path to a patch of freshly fallen snow. “I still can’t believe you’ve NEVER made a snowman before.”

Finn desperately tried to pull his winter cap over his head with the hand Rey wasn’t clutching, “There isn’t exactly a whole lot of time for frolicking in the snow when you’re being brainwashed and trained at First Order Academy you know.”

“Excuses!” Rey laughed, “I grew up in a desert and I still made one as soon as I had a chance. I don’t even think you would be out here right now if I wasn’t forcing you.”

“You’re right about that. I don’t like cold!” he huffed out a cloud of icy breath. “Besides, if I want to be around cute spherical things, I’ll hang out with BB-8. No assembly required.”

“Don’t be a baby, it’s not even that cold. We are going to build a snowman, we are going to have fun, and we are going to crush Ben in the snow sculpture contest!” Rey stated this last goal with a sort of fiery determination that Finn almost found frightening.
“Are you ever going to let your feud with that weird theater kid from Mr. Skywalker’s class go?”
“NEVER! He CHEATED last time!” Rey fumed as she began furiously packing snow. She continued muttering as she referred to the plans she had scrawled on some scrap paper. Finn decided it was best to go along with it.

Frozen, Memes, and Florida: Florida ls So Cold That lguanas Are Freezing and Falling From Trees @balleralert Florida Is So Cold That Iguanas Are Freezing and Falling From Trees - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As the Northeast recovers from the “ BombCyclone” that brought low temperatures, several inches of snow and wind gusts as high as 60 mph, the Southeast is dealing with frigid temperatures as well. In fact, it’s so cold in Florida that iguanas are freezing and falling from their perches in trees. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to reports, Florida temperatures dropped below 40 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday, the same day the “bomb cyclone” slammed the northeastern states. However, for the iguanas, who have made a home in the warm Miami suburbs, the low temperatures can cause lethargic tendencies. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But, officials are warning homeowners to be careful if frozen iguanas are found on their property. Although photos have surfaced of the frozen cold-blooded creatures, officials say they may not be dead. And if they haven’t croaked, there is a chance that the iguana can feel threatened and bite once they warm up. In most cases, reports state, the creature will eventually warm up and start moving again.

Baller Alert, Children, and Memes: Former NFL Player Raises Awareness About Baltimore Public Schools District Not Having Adequate Heating Systems In Schools @balleralert 559 Read More: www.balleralert.com Former NFL Player Raises Awareness About Baltimore Public Schools District Not Having Adequate Heating Systems In Schools - blogged by @lanaladonna ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just weeks after celebrities and social media came together to support KeatonJones’ bullying allegations, former NFL linebacker AaronMaybin is looking to spread awareness about another issue. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can you imagine sending your child to school for them to be there with no heat in 25 degree and below weather? Unfortunately, that’s exactly what’s happening to the children of The Baltimore City Public Schools District. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Maybin, who now teaches at Matthew A. Henson Elementary School in Baltimore, says that his students have to wear coats inside the classroom. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “My students were freezing,” Maybin told Baller Alert. “Most were wearing coats but some don't have them. I had two classes in my room all day with the windows open, using sunlight to keep warm.“ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When Maybin returned to school this past week after Winter break, he realized the issue, and immediately confronted the principal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “When I arrived at school, half the lights in the building were off and it was freezing. When I spoke to the principal I was told It was due to nobody being there during the holidays to make sure the heat stayed on, and pipes didn't freeze.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “The electricity was only working in half of the building. We tried our best as educators. They tried their best as scholars, but they are dealing with a lot already. And now they are supposed to learn in the dark and in the cold,” said Maybin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well, who exactly is to blame? According to Maybin, the finger can be pointed at a few sources. Though a new light is being shed on the issue, the problem itself isn’t new at all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Everyone is to blame. Everyone is. The governor, the mayor, city council, north avenue. I blame everyone. This problem isn't new.......to read the rest log on to BallerAlert.com (clickable link on profile)
