Parents watching it with their kids, I guess? literally everyone Everyone. No, really… everyone. For adults, the appeal is Sir Patrick Stewart doing a kid’s educational bit in full Shakespearean dress and style; there’s a delightful cognitive dissonance between the very serious presentation and the very simple content. For very small children, it’s educational: this is the letter “B”; here’s how it’s shaped; here’s some words you know that start with it. Oh, and here’s a word you may not be familiar with that starts with it, so you can recognize that it’s the sound that matters, and not whatever other connection you made between the other two words. For older kids: you’ve probably heard that “to be or not to be?” speech, or at least part of it, so you can enjoy some of the parody the adults are watching. Also, here’s how to describe how a letter is made - how to teach young siblings who don’t read yet, how to explain both the shape and the sound. For kids with dyslexia: here’s how you differentiate a “B” from a P or D or E. You may have to go slowly and look carefully at the exact shapes that make up the whole, but there are differences and you can learn to recognize them.  For teens or young college students: In addition to whichever parts of those are relevant to you, here’s what Shakespearean acting sounds like. Here’s how to enunciate clearly and slowly, so your audience can understand terms they may not recognize and still follow the gist of what you’re saying. If you’re reading Shakespeare in school, try sounding it out like this and see if that helps it make sense. I'm angry. Very fucking angry. I confess I loved the DC movies more than Marvel. I love The man of steel and the extended version of BVS. But after all the fucking mistakes, I've reconsidered my fanaticism. On the one hand, Henry is right to leave. HE realized that there in the company just don't know what to do, and they start doing shit. Now DC is just a fucking clone of marvel with humor and a simple plot. Because Warners thinks this is the key to the success of films from Marvel. I don't believe that grown-up businessmen didn't get the gist of marvel building their universe very subtly brick by brick, and they didn't put everyone together in one movie at once like DC in JL. The funny thing is that the last appearance of Henry in the role of Superman took place in the"Justice, trash, League". Was thinking about switching back to Android to test out some of their phones. But Android are still doing this foolery!? Smh. I'm telling you from actual experience... Let a chick that's an Android user be mad at you and text you 4 paragraphs worth of arguments, complaints, and points about how terrible a person you are... Reading their message is like putting a puzzle together! It's like taking a shredded legal document out the trash and tryna understand if you violated any laws 😫. It's unreal. Then she got the nerve to get mad at you when you not getting her gist & understanding what she's mad about. One time I got 20 text messages all jumbled just like this, telling me how I ain't ish. I never felt so illiterate IN MY LIFE. Idk WHAT that girl was tryna tell me! I text her back like "What you tryna say?! Im confused!" She dead replied back to me... "OMG! Can you read!?!" Smh. Naw shawty. Not when it's like this! We had a good run tho. To this day idk what I did. 😑: Androids be like. waitingtoseethelight: benjaminbadpennywho: thestirge: So I heard this story second-hand, many years ago, but the gist was that a friend of a friend lived in what was generally considered a bad neighborhood, because he was a super poor college student and it was what he could afford. He didn’t have any furniture, he just slept on a blanket on the floor and had a milk crate for a chair and like an old wire spool as a table. No TV, nothing in the fridge, no microwave, basically just bare walls and a roof to keep the weather off. So one day he comes home, and there’s a man in his apartment, just standing there, with this look of utter amazement and horror on his face, and he turns to the guy who’s just entered and says, “This your place? ‘cause I broke in to rob you, but shit, man, you ain’t got nothin’. Wait here, I’m’a be right back.” And the burglar left, leaving a puzzled college student alone in his empty apartment. But sure enough, the burglar came back a while later, and brought some friends, and they delivered a table, a couple of chairs, and a small TV. “I think I got you a bed, too, but that might take a couple days.” So, the poor college student made some friends. And he didn’t ask where they got the stuff.
