Goals, Life, and Love: IF YOU BELIEVE, YOU WILL. IF YOU DON'T, YOU WON'T. In any given day, our subconscious mind processes around 60,000 thoughts. It’s those same thoughts that are pushing us towards whatever it is that we desire while at the same time bringing us closer to the things that we fear. How can we achieve anything we want when our minds are almost working against us? 🤔 The truth of the matter is, as we already know it deep down inside, we get whatever it is that we focus on in life. When we focus on negative thoughts such as fear, anger, and resentment, we get more of the same. In fact, we live in a constant state of lack, wondering why we can never achieve the things we believe we want to achieve so badly in life. However, when we live an abundant life, steeped in positivity, moving away from fear, anger, and resentment, and moving towards love, growth, contribution, and forgiveness, we get more of the same. Like attracts like. It’s rather simple and straightforward. But, we don’t often notice it at a micro level. Beautiful, Brains, and Goals: IONCLE SAINT LAUREN ONLY THE WEAK GIVE UP Our brains are wired to giving up easily, it’s normal (but not all right). 🤔 Human beings are believed to act upon the “Pleasure Principle”, the instant gratification… Instant gratification is the desire to experience pleasure or fulfillment without delay or deferment. Basically, it’s when you want it; and you want it now. (just in case your wanted to know what it meant.) Yes, so once in a while, wanting to give up is normal. But giving up is not okay.☝️ - ✔️Giving up makes you lose more things than you can imagine. Instant success is a myth, always. Many successful people failed hundreds of times, if they chose to give up instead of working harder to reach their goals, they would never succeed. ✔️Picture in your mind the ultimate result. Keep in your mind the picture of the end result. A visualization of what you want to accomplish will keep you moving forward. I mean, seriously, you don’t want to stop partway through. The feeling of being a quitter isn’t pleasant. You are a winner! ✔️Remember why you started and how much you really wanted it. Think back to the moment that this project, goal, or concept was conceived. Remember the joy and thrill of the adventure ahead? At the beginning, you had a goal in mind; a beautiful picture etched in your mind of the finished task. Beginning was simple; carrying through has become difficult. Going back to the beginning brings into focus the purpose of your endeavor. The memory of anticipation of the job accomplished is stirred up again when you begin to contemplate the reason you began in the first place. Goals, Logic, and Memes: JUST BECAUSE MOST DON'T MAKE T DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T While success is relative, subjective, holds monetary and non- monetary value, failure is more a “one size fits all” recipe. HERE is why not everyone is going to make it👇 - ✔️They don’t understand the value of time. Unsuccessful people don’t value their time. They are everywhere, anywhere, anytime because they lack the ability to dedicate their time towards their goals. ✔️They don’t do things that are in alignment with their goals. The more important a goal is, the higher it will be on your hierarchy of values and the more discipline and order you will have associated with it. ✔️They have self-imposed limitations. Unsuccessful people tend to say things like “I’m just not good with numbers”, “I just really hate studying”, and “I just don’t think I can run a successful business”. They put limits on themselves and excuse their behaviour but it’s really just a way of underachieving and aiming low enough to not miss. ✔️They are good at making excuses. These are the people who will find reasons and logic as to why they can’t and why they shouldn’t. They sometimes mistake this abhorrent tendency for “just being realistic”. They lack imagination and always find ways to justify why something shouldn’t be but they never really try. Here are a few vital things you can do today that your future self will thank you for. Take this checklist and do each step thoroughly. Your life will line up like magic. ✔️Invest in yourself! We spend so much time investing in relationships and this is a good thing. But we cannot forget that investment in ourselves is as important. Take some time now. Start investing on bettering yourself to become a better person, it will attract even better thing to your life. ✔️Decide what your values are and live them every day. A person who has a strong set of beliefs and values is a happy and strong person. A person who does not have a clearly defined set of beliefs and values is tossed about in life like a tiny ship on an angry ocean. There is nothing certain to a person like this except the fact that he will be at the mercy of others ✔️Measure your successes by your own definition of “success” Everywhere we are bombarded with images of “success” we are told we are successful if we are thin, rich and have power. Well guess what? There are many people with all of those things and most of those people are completely miserable. ✔️Seek forward progress on the path to your goals. Realize that some goals may take years and others, a lifetime. Keep track of your forward progress and give yourself rewards for making it a little further on your path. ✔️Don’t stop learning. Learning is the best thing you can do to improve your current and future life! Learn a new skill, language, something! ✔️Create good habits. Good habits are the key to all success.
