Being Alone, Memes, and News: EMERGENCY MEDS U.S. NEWS BOMB SUSPECT DEAD Mar 21 The Austin bombings suspect dies by detonating a bomb inside his car while SWAT officers closed in on the vehicle. The suspect from the Austin bombings died early this morning by blowing himself up in his car while officers closed in on him. The suspect’s vehicle was traced to a hotel in Round Rock, TX- just north of Austin. A SWAT team surrounded the hotel while waiting for backup, however during that time the suspect drove away. Officers then followed the suspect, who stopped in a ditch off the side of the highway when SWAT officers closed in on the vehicle. Police detail the suspect detonated a bomb from the inside, causing an officer to be thrown back. ___ Austin police chief Brian Manley revealed the suspect to be a 24-year-old male, Mark Anthony Conditt. Manley said that several leads brought them to the suspect, including a surveillance video. However he reminded, “we still need to remain vigilant. We do not know where he has been in the past 24 hours. We do not understand what motivated him to do what he did.” Law enforcements are still unsure if the suspect acted alone, or if he had accomplices. They are also unsure if he left other explosives that have not yet detonated. ___ The suspect is said to be responsible for at least six bombs that killed two people and wounded five. Four bombs detonated in various locations in Austin, another in a FedEx distribution center in Schertz, TX, a 6th found, unexploded, in a FedEx near Austin’s airport. ___ Photo: Eric Gay-Associated Press

It was reported that the singer passed due to cocaine use and heart disease. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Houston’s legacy included winning six Grammys and selling 170 million albums, singles, and videos over her career. Whitney, to this day, is the only artist to chart seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 songs and is the only woman to have two number-one Billboard 200 album awards. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Houston made her acting debut in “The Bodyguard” in 1992, where she performed the lead single from the film’s soundtrack, ‘I Will Always Love You.’ The song easily became a highlight of Houston’s career, and one of her signature records. It received the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1994. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Houston’s pursuit in acting didn’t stop there. Aside from her appearance in Disney’s ‘Cinderella,’ she landed leading roles in ‘Waiting to Exhale’ and ‘The Preacher’s Wife.’ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whitney’s career contributed to breaking the color barrier that so many African-American artists faced. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On this day we remember her legacy, career, angelic voice, and the contributions she made to the entertainment industry as we know it. Houston left behind her mother, two brothers, and her daughter Bobbi Kristina, who died three years later. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ May Whitney Houston continue to Rest In Peace!
