Bend our ankles like that Like what??? At steep angles! Bones fuse and prevent that if you don’t do it regularly as a kid. It’s the same reason we don’t climb trees like monkeys, whose ankles don’t have the same restrictions we do Human ankles don’t normally work like that! Iirc someone did an anatomical study and people of slavic descent have shallower hip sockets that allow that movement more easily as well. Yes! This was something we talked about in my physical anthropology class, that like, some people physically cannot slav squat just because of their bones and skeletal structure. Look until this post started going around I had no idea some people couldn’t do this??? Reblog and tag with whether you can slav squat or not. I amazed myself by doing it. My fat ass can barely squat period but I was able to to the flat foot thing.: sensicalabsurdities: headspace-hotel: oceanaromantic: bugbastard: oceanaromantic: sonicrainbooms: oceanaromantic: sonicrainbooms: teaboot: Is he aware that we physically fucking can’t ? physically cant what? I haven’t been on tumblr in ages but someone brought this post (and another) to my attention so here’s your story: For starters, yes it’s real. The movie is called Merry Kissmas and you can see us in the opening credits. It’s a cheesy romcom christmas movie you can find on Netflix. I watched it, it’s so cheesy lol. What happened was I was staying in this hotel in Downtown LA for Anime Expo and on my way back to the room, this film crew approached us and asked us to be extras in his movie because “it’ll be funny!” Sure why not! So it was totally intentional. I still cosplay Fenris from time to time but I’m more active on my Facebook page if you want to find me/credit me! OMG IT WAS INTENTIONAL THAT IS AMAZING : justyouraveragebloog: ladynorbert: bangaraangex: satanaels-pride: ‘Tis the season Hi I’m the Fenris in the post! Wow, I hope people see this reply! Looking around for more mainstream sources on this, most seem to be news services in Africa, but I did come across this gem that doesn’t seem to grasp the implications of this situation. HILLARIOUS….A Woman Who Impregnated Herself With A Stolen Used Condom Wins US$3Million In Child Support Battle. Because obviously this is funny as hell and not a tragic exploitation of the US justice system. Dude’s got money, I hope he sues her into oblivion and takes his kid back if this is a legit story, I’m still mildly iffy since some of the details change from article to article. Important things to keep in mind! - never take from ‘mom and pop’ type store. Its likely you’ll actually harm them, whereas taking from a walmart wont effect much. - never take items that a worker is assigned to monitor (usually super expensive items), theyll be in trouble for it. and its usually a minimum wage worker and usually they lose hours or pay, or they even get fired. - similar to the above, never take things that are usually locked up for the above reason - if its a store you know gives their near-expiration products to workers/charity, try to avoid taking the near expiration products. - if youre taking clothing, avoid leaving hangers. it sounds weird, but itll make it seem like it was more likely an error in the computer than a theft, since the empty hanger sitting there will seem suspicious.  - also for clothing, try not to take more than one item at once, as it will look suspicious if theres 10 medium shirts missing, and it won’t be written off as just a stocking error. and it will lead to workers being penalized - basically just always consider ‘will this harm a worker’ and if the answer is yes then dont do it like i was homeless for a while when i was younger and i tried to follow those guidelines to avoid doing harm to people who were probably not much better off than me while trying to get food for myself. Holy crap, is there like an unspoken thieves code or something?! it’s a thing. I won’t even lie. I watched someone slip a nursing exam book in their bag at the store I worked at. She made eye contact with me and the blood drained from her face. I simply gave her a sympathetic nod and walked away. I live in a small town and I knew she was a waitress at a hotel my sister works at, and people at that hotel don’t tip well during off season. Nursing exam books are 50+ bucks. Being a med student myself, I didn’t even breathe a word, and when inventory came up later and the book was missing, I suggested it was likely a mislabel, and the manager wrote it off.
