Good luck to you, Snowball! [video] I prefer the version that the cat tries to stop him from shouting another human being. Well, luckily that version isn’t true, and the Nazis were defeated by shooting lots of them. Good job, Snowball! Trench warfare, a Madsen MG, and the late revision kettle helmet point to the actually time frame of this being mid to late World War 1, British Soldiers, on the western front of the war. Probably engaged in a stalemate with German forces at Verdun, The Battle of the Somme ,or The Third Ypres Campaign. A good attempt at sounding smart, dear porn blog, but I think you didn’t notice there’s a video link attached showing when and where it is. : PATHE kropotkindersurprise: moltherion: kropotkindersurprise: olaeinaiflou: kropotkindersurprise: 1944 - Snowball the cat tries to take over a machine gun in Normandy so she can shoot some Nazis herself. sonneillonv: rocknlobster: twunkmccree: brotoro: svpermodeling: Every mother with trans children should take Cher as an example. ok i love her but lets not give brownie points because she called him her son. thats like. minimum requirement for a decent human being. Ok, you know what? No. Brownie points to Cher. She publicly announced her love and acceptance of her SON and yeah some people would call that “the minimum requirement” of decency, but as someone whose mother gushes about her acceptance in private and sometimes uses gender neutral terms for me (not the male ones I prefer) but aggressively misgenders me in public to keep things from being “awkward”, cher’s public acknowledgement and expression of her love and acceptance for her son is a big deal. Yes this SHOULD BE the bare minimum of parental decency, but right now it’s not and I’m glad to see Chaz and Cher showing the world that this is the way things are supposed to be. What is up with the idea that we shouldn’t acknowledge when people do something good/nice/etc. because “everyone should be doing that anyway”? It is BY acknowledging the things we see as good that we tell others how we see the world and enforce what we consider proper behavior. There is literally never a time when it doesn’t make sense to acknowledge something positive. And acknowledging something positive does NOT make some sort of blanket statement about the person like they can do no wrong either. We can acknowledge a positive, and also criticize a negative; there is no zero-sum game here. Reinforcing good behavior is just as important, in fact more important, than criticizing bad behavior when it comes to making a change.  This is true of training pets, children, and cis people. : Cher @cher Happy Day My Darling Son Mom 2:26 PM 04 Mar 16 514 RETWEETS 2,869 LIKES sonneillonv: rocknlobster: twunkmccree: brotoro: svpermodeling: Every mother with trans children should take Cher as an example. ok i love her but lets not give brownie points because she called him her son. thats like. minimum requirement for a decent human being. themintykid: poseidonstrident: stuffmikeclicked: notglacier: you know this fucking tune They made it into a ringtone because it was old enough to be public domain, and Nokia (I think?) didn’t want to have to pay royalties. … I like the full version. So after hearing this I did a little Google searching and found out that the name of this piece is “Gran Vals.” It was composed in 1902 by Spanish composer Francisco Tárrega. It was originally composed for guitar of all things. In 1993, the Executive Vice President of Nokia Ansii Vanjoki brought the piece to his Head of Corporate Communications Lauri Kivinen, and they selected an excerpt from measures 13-16 of the song to appear as the Type 7 ringtone on the Nokia 2110 released in 1994. This is a performance of the original piece I found on YouTube.  On the guitar, it sounds lovely. I prefer it, actually. It almost sounds like a lullaby. <3 : themintykid: poseidonstrident: stuffmikeclicked: notglacier: you know this fucking tune They made it into a ringtone because it was old enough to be public domain, and Nokia (I think?) didn’t want to have to pay royalties. … I like the full version.
