Church, Fire, and Internet: DISORDERLY Oct. 1 - A group of students playing hide and seek in the Harris Fine Arts Center at 11 p.m. caused a faculty member to call the University Police. The police arrived but were not able to find any of the students. deadmomjokes: owl-librarian: #you just made it a higher stakes game of hide and seek Having gone to this University, and having personally played hide and seek in the Harris Fine Arts Center, I guarantee you that NOBODY finds hiders unless they, too, are familiar with the bowels of the HFAC. Once you get down to the practice-room levels, time stops completely and you could walk up the back stair and end up in 1967. The halls change at least 8 times an hour, there’s no way you’re getting back out the same way you came in. When the lights start going off at 10 the whole bottom 3 floors descend into some subsection of the fey realm. I once hid up on the balcony stage access fire-escape thing of a lower-level theater, and 3 faculty walked by under me and not a one of them noticed the hulking, wheezing asthmatic lurking above them, half dangling off a rickety metal ladder that probably wasn’t supposed to be climbed. A fellow hider friend came and found me, and we sat up there for 30 minutes listening to some distant clicking sound before we realized nobody was actually going to find us. We had no cell service, and no internet to reach anyone. We got lost trying to get back out, and once we resurfaced, everyone else was gone, the building was empty, and we just went home to eat ice cream. Nobody knew where we had disappeared to, and nobody bothered to check if we were there before leaving. For all I know, they just assumed we had been lost to the gaping maw of the HFAC basement and when they saw us at church on Sunday it was probably like they’d seen a ghost. None of us ever mentioned it again. Basically what I’m saying is Campus Police had no hope of finding them in the first place and probably lost an officer or two if they actually conducted a real search, because nobody except Senior art majors or veteran custodians actually knows how to navigate that building and make it out in the same dimension they entered from. Not at 11pm anyway.

Af, Bad, and Confidence: made with What's your favorite thing about me? View all 493 comments BThat you dont wear much ldk you haha, cant say what my fav part is. Im assuming your asking for superficial answers. Superficially you look sexy, cute, bad, but you've heard those blasé answers 1000x. Why still ask, seek, approval, assurance, acceptance in the form of likes, comments, and compliments? The ego seek:s approval and assurance. Why? the ego is insecure, it needs likes or comments for reassurance. The attention gives the ego(you) a false sense of temporary confidence masked in the form of arrogance in an attempt to make up for its insecurity. When one is confident they do not seek assurance or aproval, its sure of it self, it knows. And so the self(you) never questions its self in the first place. I he self seeks no approval or acceptance. It cares not what others think of it, nor can it be phased by what others think. lts confidence Cant be broken. It need not speak or say a word when self confident, it exudes from you like energy, people can feel it when your in their presencee When we care what others think of us, we're saying that there opinion of our selves is more important than our own opinion of our self, or who we know our selves to be. And thats the same as saying our word is worthless. Your hot af, but you know that already. came back to write a paragraph, after no response from commenting her @ three times on his own post

WHEN A VIDEO IS FLAGGED IT LOSES MONEY, BUT IT IS ALSO THEN THROTTLED FOR VIEWS SO PEOPLE DON’T SEE IT. YOUTUBE IS LITERALLY ERASING GAY CONTENT. If a video cannot meet the 1,000 views per week threshold required for manual review, then you have no chance of overturning YouTube’s autoflag system.  YouTube telling creators to “please appeal if you think we got it wrong” does NOTHING to help smaller creators and older content that get less than 1,000 views a week.
Bad, Clothes, and God: bex @ressurectionist 11m i dont care that much usually bc i know it's only a joke but the mikey we're seeing is finally truly happy after years of addiction stemming from severe mental illness and i'd find jokes like 'what happened to him' funnier if we acknowledged that it's a good thing he's happy now bex @ressurectionist 8m 'cos for all the 'what happened to twink mikey he became a het' etc type jokes we hardly ever see actual recognition for the shit he went through to become someone he actually likes and that puts a bad taste in my mouth bex @ressurectionist 6m bc no one seems to care that he's happy they just want him to go back to the anxious depressed wreck of revenge mikey because they like the aesthetic more?? nah mate i dont love his new style either but god at least he's not dying anymore holy shit bex @ressurectionist tldr i just think those jokes would be much funnier and in a lot better taste if we recognised that it's overall a good thing that he's changed from his mcr self because he's clearly much more mentally stable and much happier with himself now even if u dont like how he dresses 9:16 AM - 18 lan 2019 cellabrated: cellabrated: cellabrated: i’m not the best at articulating but i wrote some thoughts on twitter and couldn’t be bothered turning it into a tumblr text post so here u go ok to the people saying this goes for gerard: it doesn’t. put simply, people who say they prefer gerard back when he was suffering are (rightly) told off for it. that’s clearly not the case with mikey as that’s why i made this thread in the first place. not just that, but jokes about gerard’s current clothes/lifestyle are read as insults towards him, and people say they love bullets/revenge gerard’s aesthetic without comparing him to current gerard with a ‘what happened?’  like i say in the thread, it’s not the biggest deal, but not everything that applies to mikey has to apply to gerard as well oh i also feel i should say something i put in the tags of the original post - if you’ve made fun of current mikey for being a het or whatever i don’t mean that i think you want mikey to be miserable again, it’s just a post to say it’s overall a good thing mikey’s changed and that should be acknowledged a bit more!
Lawyer, Love, and Shoes: the funniest thing in the entire pirates of one scene in At World's End where they have parlay but davy jones is part of it and rather then have him stand in thhe shallows or something they get a big bucket of water and have in stand on it who thought of that idea? who thought put davy jones in a bucket of water and had the guts to suggest aloud? and then who went "hey that sounds at some point someone toid davy janes bucket of water and he agreed to it tis ok but notice the trail of buckets behind before he got into the one hes standing It's even funnier when you consider how he must have figured all this out in the Some folic are asking wel, if he can avaid the no-dry-land curse simply by standing in a bucket, doesn't that ruin his whole motvation?" but he's not on The parley takes place on a sandbar the shore, that spends most of its time What Jones is doing here is rules- the trial and error he must have gone through in order to determine that this "Okay, do islands count as dry land? How about parts of the share below the high tide mark? Reefs? Shoas? What if Does it have to be seawater, ar will ay water do? Does it have to be a natural Pretty sure that this implies that the the water toig bucket with just a bit of sand), would quaify as dry land. That's absurd, so I'm pretty sure that his lawyer pulled a fast one over the curse It may be absurd, but the text of the fitm bears it out Davy Jones can sense the presence of his heart while it's a sea, but not whie it's on land indeed that's why he buried it on land in the first place to break his connection with it)-yet placing the heart n a simplo jar land does, aven ifth0 jar is a boat at filled with dirt absolutely count as dry land for the purpose of Jonescrse Then the reverse should aso be true. i he buried it in a jer of water, no matter how far inland it is, he would be able to senso it. So by this logia, any container a curse than it is to weasel around i-I figune that's why he's using multple forbidden to set foot on dry land, but it's technically not dry land (it's a exposed only at low tide) and he technicaly ddn't set foot on it thes standing in a bucker of wateri. It's ckay but this all raises one further, very dry land he's forbidden from, what can Davy Jones fight you in salt marshes? can he trow down in a pear This is the quality content I come to could he step ฉn land if his shoes are No matter how ridiculous PotC gets l will love it. Especially when it results in What it he crawis around on his hands and inees, with his teet raised slightly nto the air? Can he walk on his hands? Can he ride around in a litter or What if he flies over dry land? Like in a hot air baloon, or in the clews of a giant Whar it hes carried by two swaliows In fact im not entirely sure thalt it wasnt At Wit’s End
