I’ve had salty black licorice before and it’s basically just a large chunk of salt you suck on. It’s good for all of 2-3 seconds before I have to spit it out. And don’t even get me started on black licorice soda. Licorice Soda is icky, but salty black licorice is the perfect snack. I guess I just prefer my sodium intake to come from the tears of my enemies……or that other salty liquid. Once I got an international snack box from like Sweden or something with salted licorice and that shit was the spawn of the devil. It was in my mouth for about three seconds before every part of my body rejected it. You Northern European folks are on some shit. What the fuck is salted licorice Exactly what it sounds like: black licorice caked in salt. it’s a popular treat in Sweden.: non-suspiciousname: libertarirynn: unpopularly-opinionated: invenblocker: unpopularly-opinionated: invenblocker: unpopularly-opinionated: invenblocker: huumesateenvarjo: ruinedchildhood: 💯 This post is fennophobic Stop slandering our precious licorice! It’s a very pretty piece from the renaissance that has a lot of different voice parts singing totally different melodies that mesh well together. I sung tenor for a song of his as well. It sounds ethereal in cathedrals and bathrooms alike my opinion. Its the room’s ability to bounce sound and make it resonate, giving it it’s “mermaid siren” like quality. It sounds great. Important things to keep in mind! - never take from ‘mom and pop’ type store. Its likely you’ll actually harm them, whereas taking from a walmart wont effect much. - never take items that a worker is assigned to monitor (usually super expensive items), theyll be in trouble for it. and its usually a minimum wage worker and usually they lose hours or pay, or they even get fired. - similar to the above, never take things that are usually locked up for the above reason - if its a store you know gives their near-expiration products to workers/charity, try to avoid taking the near expiration products. - if youre taking clothing, avoid leaving hangers. it sounds weird, but itll make it seem like it was more likely an error in the computer than a theft, since the empty hanger sitting there will seem suspicious.  - also for clothing, try not to take more than one item at once, as it will look suspicious if theres 10 medium shirts missing, and it won’t be written off as just a stocking error. and it will lead to workers being penalized - basically just always consider ‘will this harm a worker’ and if the answer is yes then dont do it like i was homeless for a while when i was younger and i tried to follow those guidelines to avoid doing harm to people who were probably not much better off than me while trying to get food for myself. Holy crap, is there like an unspoken thieves code or something?! it’s a thing. I won’t even lie. I watched someone slip a nursing exam book in their bag at the store I worked at. So after hearing this I did a little Google searching and found out that the name of this piece is “Gran Vals.” It was composed in 1902 by Spanish composer Francisco Tárrega. It was originally composed for guitar of all things. In 1993, the Executive Vice President of Nokia Ansii Vanjoki brought the piece to his Head of Corporate Communications Lauri Kivinen, and they selected an excerpt from measures 13-16 of the song to appear as the Type 7 ringtone on the Nokia 2110 released in 1994. This is a performance of the original piece I found on YouTube.  On the guitar, it sounds lovely. I prefer it, actually. It almost sounds like a lullaby. <3 : themintykid: poseidonstrident: stuffmikeclicked: notglacier: you know this fucking tune They made it into a ringtone because it was old enough to be public domain, and Nokia (I think?) didn’t want to have to pay royalties. … I like the full version.
