Dating, Family, and Friday: No union is more profound than marriage, for it embod- ies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family. In forming a marital union, two people be- come something greater than once they were. As some of the petitioners in these cases demonstrate, marriage embodies a love that may endure even past death. It would misunderstand these men and women to say they disrespect the idea of marriage. Their plea is that they do respect it, respect it so deeply that they seek to find its fulfillment for themselves. Their hope is not to be con demned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civiliza tion's oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right. The judgment of the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit is reversed. It is so ordered.
lgbtlaughs:

BREAKING: The Supreme Court says same sex couples have the right to marry in all 50 states

WASHINGTON (AP) – The Supreme Court declared Friday that same-sex couples have a right to marry anywhere in the United States.

Gay and lesbian couples already can marry in 36 states and the District of Columbia. The court’s 5-4 ruling means the remaining 14 states, in the South and Midwest, will have to stop enforcing their bans on same-sex marriage.

The outcome is the culmination of two decades of Supreme Court litigation over marriage, and gay rights generally.

Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote the majority opinion, just as he did in the court’s previous three major gay rights cases dating back to 1996. It came on the anniversary of two of those earlier decisions.

“No union is more profound than marriage,” Kennedy wrote, joined by the court’s four more liberal justices.

The ruling will not take effect immediately because the court gives the losing side roughly three weeks to ask for reconsideration. But some state officials and county clerks might decide there is little risk in issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

We were not at war with any Middle Eastern country when we were attacked.

The US bombed industrial manufacturing targets which were legitimate military targets. The WTC was a civilian target, though to be fair, an attack on the White House or Pentagon would have been a legitimate military target.

The bombing of Japan was to end the war and saved countless lives in doing so. We also helped Japan rebuild and became friends and allies. The 9/11 attacks were simply too kill people, specifically civilians.

Oil in Uganda

We supplied Uganda with 349 million dollars in foreign aid. That aid lessened or halted around the time Uganda started arresting and executing homosexuals, among other human rights crimes where tens of thousands of people have been killed, and where over 60,000 children have been taken into slavery.

I’d be wary about sending them money too. Less than 1% of oil used by the US comes from Uganda so I’m not sure why this is even a point. But liberals aren’t the brightest around so we’ll just go with it.

Enslaves Africans for 300 years, blames blacks for all our problems

Wrong. We became a country in 1776. Slaves were freed in 1865. That equates to around 89 years or so. I know liberals aren’t the brightest but I expect proficiency in basic mathematics.

I talked about slavery here. In short, it was mostly Europeans who brought over slaves, not Americans, because we didn’t even exist. Most slaves were sold by other blacks in Africa. The US fought a war to free slaves, and millions of white Americans died to do this.

Now today, black people make up around 13% of the population, yet commit around 52% of all homicides (most upon other blacks). Black people are targeted more often by police for these reasons, so they should be made at other black people, not whites.

It’s not so much about their skin color but about the culture they are living in.

Most Americans were hopeful that the election of a black president — thereby making America the first white society in history to choose a black leader — would finally put to rest the myth of a racist America. More than six years later it seems not to have accomplished a thing. I now suspect that if the president, the vice-president, the entire cabinet, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and all nine justices on the Supreme Court were black, it would have no impact on blacks who believe America is a racist society — or on the left-wing depiction of America as racist.

Wants world peace, butchers Arab world

If you really care about the Arabs, you should be more concerned with the hundreds of thousands of civilians slaughtered in Syria by their own government. You should care about the 500,000 killed by Saddam Hussein. You should be less concerned with the collateral damage caused by the US military, especially after Iraqi civilians cheered for US troops as they tore down Saddam’s statue after the collapse of his regime.

If you really care about homosexual rights, you should be concerned about gays being hung in Iran and Palestine. But liberals don’t really care about any of this, only about smearing America’s good name.

Claims to have never fought war on own soil

I don’t even know why this is a thing. We fought and defeated the Native Indians in a war. We won our independence against the British here. We fought against Japan on our shores one morning in December, among other battles.

You know one benefit about having the most powerful military in the world? We can engage our enemies on ours terms, not theirs. We can also fight them over there, not here. I don’t want to have to fight here in the US.

US lost war to Canada

Canada was colonized by the British at the time, damn pesky history biting liberals again. And I don’t really care if it’s considered a British victory, the result was Status quo ante bellum.

Liberal arguments are so fun to destroy. They lack all facts and logic and appeal only to emotion. Clearly, the smearing of America’s good name is one of the only things the left is actually good at.
