Af, Being Alone, and Bad: Tom Sauer @thomasbsauer (THREAD) A few observations from a former bomb disposal officer G.e. Me) 1. Proper pipe bombs don't have wires connected to both ends. That's dumb. 1:15 PM 24 Oct 18 from Washington, DC 1,354 Retweets 1,736 Likes Tom Sauer @thomasbsauer 2. You can find timers/ remote control receivers WAY smaller than whatever that white box is. A proper timer would best be stored inside the pipe, making it fully encapsulated I hat thing is just silly looking 1:15 PM 24 Oct 18 from Washington, DC 224 Retweets 555 Likes Tom Sauer @thomasbsauer 3. Bottom Line: Whoever made that wanted it to be painfully obvious to anyone and everyone that it's a "bomb." This is nearly the same as a bundle of road flares wrapped together with an old-timey alarm clock ticking away. 1:15 PM 24 Oct 18 from Washington, DC 397 Retweets 1,005 Likes Tom Sauer @thomasbsauer 4, "Hoax Devices" are FAR more common than real ones. In which case, we should ask ourselves what the motives of the "bomber" are and "who benefits?" Go ahead. Think deeply and critically. 1:15 PM 24 Oct 18 from Washington, DC 387 Retweets 915 Likes robert-the-redhead-lover: skypig357: robert-the-redhead-lover: skypig357: robert-the-redhead-lover: skypig357: whiskey-gunpowder: skypig357: oldmarine1775: whiskey-gunpowder: the golden rule: if the media pushes something, be very skeptical. If MSM is pushing it, I promise you it’s total BS. If it were Republicans receiving these “bombs” you wouldn’t hear anything about it. Guess you’ve not seen the news. Press conferences. Arrest was made. It was legit. Not hoax devices and not a false flag. And if you don’t think the MSM would cover Republicans getting bombs in the mail you’re insane. Even if they hate republicans they’ll cover that for ratings. Money talks the media is nothing more than a left wing propaganda machine. they report narratives, not facts So is Fox News a right wing propaganda machine they reports narratives, not facts? If the media reports something you want to be true, do you think it’s equally Fake News? Also I’m not basing anything off the media, but the press conference that the FBI and Attorney General made noting the arrest and status of the devices. Then a basic search of the subject (Cesar Sayoc) gives you a trove of information https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-director-christopher-wrays-remarks-regarding-arrest-of-cesar-sayoc-in-suspicious-package-investigationFBI Director Christopher Wray’s Remarks Regarding Arrest of Cesar Sayoc in Suspicious Package InvestigationSourcing of all media is a good idea. Check and double check. But if you go down the rabbit hole of actual distrust and embracing conspiracy theories you’re lost. Weird how the FBI was able to get this guy so quick, yet missed the Parkland shooter, despite years of reports… DNA and fingerprints. If you’re in the system and you’ve committed a national crime, it’ll be over quick. He left evidence Even though I’m in the system (USN), it took them two weeks to run a background check on me when I applied for an airport job, but they nabbed this guy in less than 48 hours? I find that suspicious af. Dude. Your background check act of domestic terrorism that’s targeting politicians and media all over the news in an election year. If you find that suspicious I don’t know what to tell you. What’s the alternative? A conspiracy involving hundreds of FBI agents and techs, local and state law enforcement, postal service, and media? Are you serious? You don’t need all that when folks don’t question and just obey because they’re “taking care of the bad guys.” All you need are a few rotten apples at the top. But, none of those packages went through the mail. That’s given away by the lack of postal cancellation, as well as not enough postage.Otherwise, the timing is what I call suspicious. Hostage situations have taken longer. Hell, since you brought up domestic terrorism, it took them longer to find McVeigh and Kazinski (sp?) than this guy. Even assuming it is the right guy, do we know who he really is? If he was capable of organizing something like this by himself? If he working alone? If he isn’t the face of a larger scheme? It wouldn’t be the first time the “ lone wolf” angle being pushed by the media looked a little suspicious. As an aside, I love it when people get into pointless arguments about CNN vs Fox News and which one is “less biased“, as though they aren’t both owned by the same sort of people and used to pump out varying levels of propaganda for controlled opposition.

Supporting her. Believing her.And yet, many people still did not listen.many people still called her a liar.many people still threatened her.many people still supported her abuser.many people still believed the word of a man over the word of a woman. Of a victim.Next time you think men are the victims and women have everything to gain by speaking up about their assault, please explain to me when you have ever seen that to be the case. All I see is that a women spoke up about her sexual assault, and yet she was pushed aside and ignored as her abuser was granted a lifetime position in the highest court in the country. All I see is an abuser has been appointed to a position in which he would be able to further control women and their rights to their own bodies. All I see is another reason why women are so frightened to and believe that they shouldn’t speak up about their assault.Because it wouldn’t matter.Because nothing would happened.Because you failed her. A woman came forward with an accusation she had absolutely no way of backing up.People did listen. They gave her a congressional hearing for fucks sake, an opportunity I might add she almost refused. She could not prove her claims. People she claimed were witnesses said they had no recollection of the event she put forward. Literally nothing she presented was evidence of any sort and her story was fraught with inconsistencies and vague details.Another woman came forward with a story even more completely uncorroborated. She was so unsure it was even Kavanagh who assaulted her that it took almost a week for her to convince herself it was him, and once again nobody remembers a thing. An investigation was made, people weighed the lack of evidence and determined that there was no cause to prevent the man from taking the job because we still live in a country where you should be viewed as innocent unless there’s actual evidence of your guilt. It’s not that deep.

Apparently, Asian, and Bitch: Detroit Rep. Bettie Cook Scott orn Asian opponent: Don't vote for the ching-chong! by Violet lkonomova August 16, 2018 at 11:09 AM comment v bizarre-transmission: thettasigma: ferventfox: awesome-everyday: internetdumpsterfires: Black people can’t be racist. Ugh, okay. The remark by this black woman was disrespectful and based on race. It was rude, bigoted and uncalled for. But no, in an anti black world, black people do not have the social, political or systemic financial power to be racist. Racism implies that beyond hurting and insulting that asian woman that this black woman is connected to a system that has the power to negatively impact this woman’s existence. That dark skinned black woman who’s an incumbent running for state office likely has about the same amount of systemic power as i do. And furthermore, there could be an argument made that deteoit is chocolate city and perhaps she does have that infrastructure of black networks to truly effect her opponent, but idk I was in Detroit last year and it looks a lot like Brooklyn does now. White and gentrified. White people with money, who control our political systems, finances, and predominant social narratives are claiming urban space like they’re colonizing pioneers looking to take the new world. Detroit isn’t the same anymore. Anyway, black people can be shitty insensitive bigots but we do not have the social capital to be racist, particularly not in the united states. “That dark skinned black woman who’s an incumbent running for state office likely has about the same amount of systemic power as i do.”  Ahahaha: No. A congressperson is the definition of systemic power. You can’t bitch about lack of political power when we are talking about elected politician.  Clearly the world isn’t so anti-black that it couldn’t vote her in.  Chang is also a first generation American, while Scott, to my knowledge, is not, and she specifically made anti-immigrant comments. She also has “power” within the context of her own ethnic community and she used that power to direct racism towards other African-Americans who supported Chang by implying they were somehow traitors, essentially dictating how they ought to act based on their race, particularly Chang’s husband for his interracial marriage (I don’t give a flying fuck what race you are, negative comments about interracial marriage and mixed race people are racist. period. end of story).  Even if I did accept the prejudice + power model or racism (which I don’t as that is neither the etymology or common usage of the word) Cook’s comments would certainly fit the bill. She made race based attacks on people based on types of marginalization that she is exempt from; and did so from a position of power partially gained by the fact that she is exempt from these types of discrimination.   It’s racist. Stop making excuses.  “That dark skinned woman who’s an incumbent running for office likely has about the same amount of systematic power as I do.” Is this person on drugs? They’re claiming that… A political person… A congresswoman… Has no power in the country in which she was elected… By the populace… As a politician. That, or they’re a politician too. Apparently we can say anything now and it makes sense. Huh. Also these remarks are the absolute epitomy of racism and if anyone refuses to see it, they’re not purely misinformed. They are delusional. *literally calls an Asian person ching chong*“How dare you say I’m being racist??” Thank you for attending today’s lecture on cognitive dissonance.

9/11, America, and Bad: A MARINES LETTER TO THE NFL I've been a season pass holder at Yankee Stadium, Yale Bowl, and Giants Stadium I missed the '90-'91 season because I was with a battalion of Marines in Desert Storm, 14 of my wonderful Marines returned home I’ve been a season pass holder at Yankee Stadium, Yale Bowl and Giants Stadium. I missed the ’90-’91 season because I was with a battalion of Marines in Desert Storm. 14 of my wonderful Marines returned home with the American Flag draped across their lifeless bodies. My last conversation with one of them, Sgt Garrett Mongrella, was about how our Giants were going to the Super Bowl. He never got to see it. Many friends, Marines, and Special Forces Soldiers who worked with or for me through the years returned home with the American Flag draped over their coffins. Now I watch multi-millionaire athletes who never did anything in their lives but play a game, disrespect what brave Americans fought and died for. They are essentially spitting in the faces and on the graves of real men, men who have actually done something for this country beside playing with a ball and believing they’re something special! They’re not! My Marines and Soldiers were! You are complicit in this! You’ll fine players for large and small infractions but you lack the moral courage and respect for our nation and the fallen to put an immediate stop to this. Yes, I know, it’s their 1st Amendment right to behave in such a despicable manner. What would happen if they came out and disrespected you or the refs! I observed a player getting a personal foul for twerking in the end zone after scoring. I guess that’s much worse than disrespecting the flag and our National Anthem. Hmmmmm, isn’t it his 1st Amendment right to express himself like an idiot in the end zone? Why is taunting not allowed yet taunting America is OK? You fine players for wearing 9-11 commemorative shoes yet you allow scum on the sidelines to sit, kneel or pump their pathetic fist in the air. They are so deprived with their multi-million dollar contracts for playing a freaking game! You condone it all by your refusal to act. You’re just as bad and disgusting as they are. I hope Americans boycott any sponsor who supports that rabble you call the NFL. I hope they turn off the TV when any team that allowed this disrespect to occur, without consequence, on the sidelines. Time to change the channel. Col Jeffrey A Powers US
