Lawyer, Meek Mill, and Memes: Meek Mill Granted Post Conviction Hearing @balleralert Meek Mill Granted Post Conviction Hearing-blogged by @thereal__bee ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Rapper Meek Mill has officially been granted a post-conviction hearing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The same judge who previously sentenced him to two to four years for a probation violation, Judge Genece Brinkley of the Common Pleas Court, has now granted the Philly native a post-conviction hearing due to possible corruption of Meek’s original 2008 case. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ According to previous reports, the rapper’s original 2007 arrest may have involved some corruption as well, and on Feb.14, his attorneys filed a Post-Conviction Relief Act petition concerning his original arrest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office has a secret list of suspect police officers who are not deemed as credible witnesses, one of them being Reginald Graham, a testifying officer in Meek’s 2008 trial. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The post-conviction hearing has been scheduled to determine what really happened with Meek’s case. His lawyer is confident that the hearing will result in him being released. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ “I mean, there were 800 cases that were dismissed or overturned upon discovery of this group of officers who had been committing crimes, lying about circumstances of arrests, and falsifying documents,” his lawyer said. “One of the officers is the same one who not only arrested Meek but made allegations that Meek has always denied. This is the only one that testified against Meek.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Meek heads to court on April 16.

Meek Mill, Memes, and Police: Meek Mill Files For Immediate Release After New Report Details His Arresting Officer's History of Police Misconduct and Dirty Arrests @balleralert Meek Mill Files For Immediate Release After New Report Details His Arresting Officer’s History of Police Misconduct and Dirty Arrests - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After MeekMill and his legal team accused his prosecuting judge of malpractice in connection to his longstanding legal case, the rapper is now targeting the Philly officer who arrested him in the first place. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to TMZ, Meek is demanding an immediate release from prison because the arresting officer has a history of dirty arrests. In fact, the rapper’s legal team says the officer’s entire testimony against Meek should be tossed because he reportedly lied on the stand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In new docs filed by Meek’s legal team, the Philly-bred rapper says officer Gerold Gibson claimed officer Reginald Graham, who arrested Meek back in 2007 for drug possession, lied when he said the rapper pointed a gun at him. According to the docs, Gibson said Meek only took the gun out of his waistband to discard it. He also contradicted Graham’s statement about the rapper resisting arrest, Gibson revealed he did not. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In addition to Graham’s alleged lies, Meek’s legal team has called a recent report into question, which includes a list of dirty Philly cops, who have a history of lying, abuse, and racial bias. The list details Graham’s history of excessive force and dirty arrests. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a result, Meek wants his entire case thrown out and to be released from prison.

Children, College, and Energy: LICNAIRE WENTOR CHEERS TO ABETTER FUTURE. Start small and strive for a better F*CKING life! 🍾 - Living a life of excellence takes effort, but at the same time is rewarding and gives you energy so that you can keep up your work. Here are a few ideas that you can implement to strive for excellence👇 - ✔️Feel your emotions. Stop muffling your emotions underneath a big blanket and putting your fake-happy-neutral face all the time. Learn from children, who are sad, happy, excited and tired over the course of less than an hour. Feel what truly goes on within yourself, and simply accept it. ✔️Identify your values. To make the right choices in your life, you need to know what truly matters to you. Keep a list of your core values, and write your observations on how you and others live according to these values as well. Revisit your list often to focus your energy on what you value most in life. ✔️Define your limiting beliefs. What is holding you back? What cultural conditioning is keeping you from stepping out from the crowd? Do you think you can’t do it because you’re too old-young, because you haven’t gone to college or because you are a woman? Define your limiting beliefs, and then release them into the wide open. 😉 ✔️Practice gratitude. Learn to be grateful for all positive experiences that come across your path on a given day. Keep a list of 10 things that you are grateful for, every day. When dark days are upon you, be grateful for your health, for life, for your pet… anything that can give you a little spark! ✔️Smile. Light up your face and the heart of another person with a smile. - life cheers success millionairementor

Clothes, Ironic, and Life: Why do l understand this G.O.A.T. @thatudiboy There is always that one innocent spoon in every home that you just dislike for no reason Life Tips: Making Mornings Easier If you’re anything like a normal human being, you have days where you’re just totally off. You sleep through your alarm and suddenly the whole day is thrown off. Below are some of my tips for making those off days or even just everyday a bit easier. 1. Pack everything the night before This seems like a no-brainer, I tell myself to do this often and when I don’t follow through, I wish I had. Set aside your outfit (down to the undergarments-seriously) If you workout (if you don’t-you should try to) set aside your workout clothes and shoes. You’ll have less excuses to not get started. Pack your lunch-don’t forget to fill up your water bottle Pack your work bag-backpack-purse with everything you will need to make it through the day. 2. Be prepared It only takes a bit of time to get yourself prepared for just about anything. Think about your essentials, things you wouldn’t want to be stuck without and things you always find yourself needing. You can either add these items to your daily bag or stash them in your car-desk-locker. 3. Don’t over complicate things If you know you are going to have a stressful week-plan ahead. Stick to the basics 4. Make lists Duh. Take a few minutes to get it together, list out things you’ve forgotten (groceries, errands, etc) and prioritize. It will seem much more simple when everything is laid out in front of you and not jumbled up in your brain. 5. To remember things: keep them close to you I’m horrible at taking off my makeup. I made a nasty habit of sleeping in makeup and only washing my face in the shower. To tackle this, I’ve left my makeup remover right by my toothbrush. This way when I brush my teeth at night, it’s easy to pull out a wipe and get rid of my raccoon eyes. I’ve also added night cream and Chapstick on my bedside table. Taking care of your skin is important! Lips too! 6. Set reminders Use the phone you are undoubtedly attached to. Set yourself alarms and reminders if you simply can’t be bothered to get it together. A little bit of preparation, planning and being easier on yourself can go a long way towards making every day better. billsimportantposts
