Beyonce, Crime, and Definitely: Lil Xan Confronted By Angry Tupac Fans After Calling The Legend's Music Boring; Cops Escort Him To Safety @balleralert 32 Lil Xan Confronted By Angry Tupac Fans After Calling The Legend’s Music Boring; Cops Escort Him To Safety - blogged by @msJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In music, an unpopular opinion is neither respected or accepted, especially when it comes to musical legends such as Biggie, Tupac, and Beyoncé. (With the latter being absolutely off-limits) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But, California-bred rapper LilXan learned that the hard way when he rated Tupac a “2” out of 10 and called his music boring. His comments initiated a call for his banishment from hip-hop, which in turn prompted the rapper to clarify his statements. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “For real, I gotta tell you something. The media twisted my words,” he said. “I think Tupac is a legend. Tupac is definitely a legend. Tupac a legend, they just twist your words. They want you to hate me. Don’t hate me.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, saying it three times did not convince angry Tupac fans, who tried to press him in his hometown. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to a police report obtained by TMZ, a group of high schoolers confronted the rapper at a Del Taco in Redlands, California over his comments about the late rapper. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although the incident didn’t escalate to violence, there was a bit of hostility that prompted the rapper to run for cover until an officer picked him up and took him to his car. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, TMZ says the group was gathered for a possible girl fight, so the rapper may have got caught in the middle of the chaos. But, no crime was committed against him, the publication reports. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the meantime, can we discuss the resemblance between Lil Xan and Carl Gallagher from ‘Shameless’?

Bad, Diss, and Life: Beware Of The BeyHive: Keri Hilson Opens Up About 7-Year Battle With Depression That Was Triggered By "Personal and Professional Mistakes" @balleralert Beware Of The BeyHive: Keri Hilson Opens Up About 7-Year Battle With Depression That Was Triggered By “Personal and Professional Mistakes” - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just two months after opening up about her 7-year musical hiatus, KeriHilson is speaking out about what forced her to take time away from music: depression. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “When ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ was at the top of the charts, I was bearing the weight of some personal and professional mistakes and they just weighed so, so, so heavy on my spirit and I was just not myself,” she said. (Was it the “Beyoncé diss” that led to an intense attack by the Beyhive?) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Although I was at the mountain of my life, really the trajectory of my dream - I was at the pinnacle, you know? I was severely unhappy and then add to that, this is when I decided to jump out of an eleven-year relationship. Bad decision, bad timing,” Hilson told xoNeCole, as she explained how the media impacted her situation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “You don’t know where a person is, it’s not just about what you are feeding your audience, but what you are doing to the creators,” she told the publication. “There are a lot of undeserving people that are being attacked by just a headline. You don’t understand some of the worst days of my life were from a lie. An attack on my character. And I am an amazing person. I do say that because I’ve done the work to become that and all I ever wanted to be was just a great human being.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But, now after years of recovery, Hilson says she is not all the way there, but she is “in the clear.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Literally, 7 years of my life have been a battle with depression. And I can’t say that I’m all the way clear, but I’m in the clear,” she said.

Ja Rule, Memes, and Migos: PE.RI U.S. NEWS FYRE FESTIVAL FRAUD Mar 07 | Fyre Festival founder and CEO Billy McFarland pleaded guilty to two counts of wire fraud, facing up to ten years in prison. Fyre Festival founder and CEO, Billy McFarland, pleaded guilty to two counts of wire fraud yesterday, and will face up to a decade in prison. McFarland admitted in a Manhattan federal court that he had defrauded investors and falsified documents as a way to provide funding for his promised luxury Fyre Festival experience. The two wire fraud charges each carry a maximum of 20 years in prison, but McFarland made a plea agreement which may allow him to face only eight to ten years, with a fine of up to $300,000. McFarland’s sentence is scheduled for June 21st. ___ McFarland and fellow festival-promoter rapper Ja Rule made Fyre Festival out to be a “luxury concert” to take place on a small island in the Bahamas. The festival was to include performances from Blink-182, Migos, and Disclosure with extravagant housing accommodations and celebrity-chef-cooked meals. However, when concertgoers started to arrive to the festival, they were met with flimsy tents and boxed lunches and told that the musical acts had been canceled. Mcfarland told the judge, Naomi Reice Buchwald, of Federal District Court in Manhattan, that he had begun organizing the festival with good intentions but had “greatly underestimated the resources” it would take to deliver the experience that was advertised. ___ Photo: Mark Lennihan | AP
