Bad, Candy, and Cars: Slate.com 5 hrs . Slate Dear Prudie: Do I have to give them candy? aT T-T Help! Kids From Poorer Neighborhoods Keep Trick- or-Treating in Mine. Slate.com Dear Prudence, I live in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the country, but on one of the more "modest" streets-mostly doctors and lawyers and family business owners. (A few blocks away are billionaires, families with famous last names, media moguls, etc.) I have noticed that on Halloween, what seems like 75 percent of the trick-or-treaters are clearly not from this neighborhood. Kids arrive in overflowing cars from less fortunate areas. I feel this is inappropriate. Halloween isn't a social service or a charity in which l have to buy candy for less fortunate children Obviously this makes me feel like a terrible person, because what's the big deal about making less fortunate kids happy on a holiday? But it just bugs me, because we already pay more than enough taxes toward actual social services. Should Halloween be a neighborhood activity, or is it legitimately a free-for-all in which people hunt down the best candy grounds for their kids? 91.6K 705 Slate Slate.com's Post See More memesandmagik: ryulongd: rune-midgarts: goodtimegang: brakehagev2: guys this is actually real like a real person wrote this “more than enough” oh you fucking saints, absolutely pouring wealth onto the unfortunates lol this is amazing Dear Prudie, I think I just witnessed a murder Literally, the entire point of the tradition of trick-or-treating involved feeding your hungry neighbors in exchange for blessings, prayers for your dead, and good luck. To deny someone of a “treat” was bad luck and thought to anger the fae.  So yeah I hope her house gets egged and her wealth mysteriously dissipates without warning.

Animals, Be Like, and Butthurt: Love this IN THE FIGHTIN MANSPREADING WITH BLEACH 3,381,716 Views In the Now 26 September at 19:00 Like Page This is a pretty extreme way to combat #manspreading 2 Comments 26K Shares b Like Comment Share Hahaha.. on the bus, for every guy sitting next to me Like Reply-9h learn, it's like training dogs isn't it Like Reply 5h absolutely! They might actually learn, it's like training dogs isn't it Like Reply 5h Write a reply.. This is a pretty extreme way to combat #manspreading". Jeez, can you imagine what you lot would be like if blokes went around pouring water over girls, and then comparing the act to be like "training dogs"? The amount of outroar, butthurt, and accusations of assault would be phenomenal Like Reply 23m Edited I think you've misinterpreted my words, I never said I agree with the actions. I just love that someone is actually standing up against it as it's incredibly rude/uncomfortable and females don't feel they have a choice when having to squeeze up when a male next time them is being inconsiderate and manspreading I do disagree and think it's extreme; but I understand the women have been doing it to create a statement. My comm pouring/spraying water is commonly used to train dogs/cats and by using this action we are essentially treating males as animals. No where in the comments did my friend or l state we agree with the act of pouring water on the males ent about training dogs is purely that Like Reply 18m "love this" and sharing it is clearly showing your support for this kind of treatment, and by making the reference and connection to spraying them like animals - that's just degrading in itself, imagine if a guy had said that about trying to get women to stop doing things that annoy them? You can make a statement without mildly assaulting people on public transport Yes I do support the statement, and I'm proud females are standing up against it. Doesn't mean I agree with the course of action. And in no way did I state otherwise. You may have misinterpreted and assumed the post as act of complete agreement.
